Apartment in Rivera Del Sol, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol - Fantastic Sun Drenched Apartment, Great for Families or Golfers

Our apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 3 storey complex. It is within walking distance of Miraflores golf club and clubhouse and also to a choice of 3 restaurants. We have two swimming pools on the complex aswell as a tennis court. There are a number of good beaches all along the coast between Marbella to the west and Fuengirola to the east. There are a number of shops with a bank, bars, restaurants and supermarkets 10 mins walk away. We also have an underground car park with a lift straight up to the 2nd floor.

We have wifi and Air conditioning too.

We have owned this property for 9 years and after living in the apartment for 2 of those we decided to come home to England to start a family.

Having an apartment in Spain means we are able to work within the hustle and bustle of London but also enjoy our time out with the family with holidays to Spain.

From the Owner

The reasons we love this area is there is so much to do. You have so many choices of beaches,restaurants and shops too. The apartment is close to Malaga Airport making the travelling time easier. The beauty of the Costa Del Sol is that you are only a drive away from where ever you want to be, a more authentic Spain which can be found inland at some lovely towns or the hustle and bustle of Puerto Banus which is 15 mins away by car or taxi.

Activity and Interests


The closest Beaches can be found at Riviera and La Cala and are accessible by car or taxi. Otherwise you can walk which will take approx 15 mins. A 5 minute drive away brings you to Puerto Cabopino with its gorgeous Marina, wide sandy beach, beach sports and lively restaurants and bars where Sangria is readily served!


Malaga is the nearest aiport and car hire is recommended although there are taxis and buses readily available. Riviera Del Sol can be found between Marbella and Fuengirola.

There is a bus service opposite the apartment which takes you into La Cala De Mijas for a small fee.


Although a car isn't essential for your trip one is recommended in order to fully explore the area. A 15 minute drive takes you to the thriving towns of Marbella with its wonderful old town and for another 5 minutes drive you will reach the Hustle and Bustle of Puerto Banus. Mijas Pueblo is only 15 minutes away with its beautiful white town. Also Gibraltar, with it’s duty free shopping is an hour away. If you prefer not to hire a car, there is a reliable bus service available close by.

Further Details:

Less than a 10 minute walk is the Aztec Country Club with it's tennis, swimming, mini golf, fitness centre, restaurant, bar and games room; an ideal location to spend the day. A choice of supermarkets, restaurants and bars can be found in Miraflores, Riviera del sol and Calahonda, all of which are a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive away (a taxi rank is situated in Riviera del Sol).

Opposite the apartment is the Oasis hotel which you can eat at , it has a small supermarket and also this is where you can get a courtesy bus to La Cala De Mijas or the beach.

The property has mainly spanish residents which allows you to get you into the holiday mood as soon as you arrive. There are two swimming pools on the complex which gives you the added option of where to sunbathe. Our terrace allows an excellent sunbathing area with views of the the swimming pool. There is a big supermarket within walking distance and also great eating places close by. We have a secure underground car park space making parking easy and safe. Riviera del Sol has excellent facilities for a holiday stay or also golfers looking for a nice weekend away. We are within walking distance to Miraflores golf course and there are many other excellent courses within easy reach by car.

Also limited Wi-Fi is available on request for a small charge Outside: At the apartment there is a BBQ for guests to use as well as two sun loungers on the terrace. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and over looks the swimming pool and the landscaped gardens. There are 2 pools on the complex and the pool is enclosed making it very child friendly. The complex has secure underground parking with lifts servicing each floor of the apartment block. Utility Room: We have a washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Bathroom towels in the apartment are provided. Please provide your own beach towels. The property is cleaned and prepared for your arrival. The cleaning cost is €20 a week. Other: Large terrace with outdoor furniture, including sun loungers and a BBQ.
