Apartment in Nice, Cote D'Azur - Located in the Exclusive Mont Boron Area, 10 mins to Beach

This newly renovated apartment offers stunning views over Nice, the Baie des Anges, port and the old castle. The closest beach is approx a 10 minute walk while a 10 minute stroll takes you down to the port and in 20 minutes into the old town of Nice. Fantastic restaurants and evening entertainment are all within easy walking distance. Also close by, a 10 minute walk is a large supermarket or within a few minutes you will find a mini-market providing the basic essentials. A communal pool with separate kiddies pool is located within the grounds and the apartment also has a private parking space in the underground car park. The accommodation includes a balcony with dining table and chairs. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet.The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and induction hob. Linen and Towels are not included but can be provided as requested for €35/double bed. Check in times are flexible, and can be arranged 24/7 with a supplement for late arrivals: 1800-2200 €30, and 2200-0800 €50. A professional cleaning fee of €50 is automatically added to the stay.

This bright, charming and peaceful retreat has everything PLUS a view to die for - one of the best in Nice - port, sea and mountains, with a spacious balcony to sip wine and dream..... Comfortable seating and all buses at the door... garage for your car - what more could you want?!.... I really loved it V.M.C. (Bath, Somerset)

We have now stayed in this apartment for five years during the summer holidays. We love the apartment. The veranda has the most fantastic views you could wish for and plenty of activity in the harbour to watch the ferries from Corsica arrive and depart. The sunsets over the hills of Nice are spectacular. Finding a reasonably priced apartment with wonderful views, air conditioning, and a pool is not easy in Nice, but this apartment has it all.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are extra and can be rented at €30 per double bed. No fee if you bring your own linen and towels. The balcony and view was nothing short of amazing

Me and my wife stayed here 3 nights as a part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier. John was a great host from the moment we booked. He went out of his way to make sure we knew what we were getting, called to find out our interests and sent us information on things we would like to do. Can’t thank him enough. The location is perfect, walking distance to a supermarket if you’re traveling on a budget and also walking distance to the port and shops. I think our favorite place was the balcony though! Enjoying wine and meals with a view that can’t be beat. Hopefully we will be back again some day. Thanks so much John!

You should book this apartment right now! Highly recommended.

We were looking for an apartment that was close to town, had convenient access to public transportation, ideally had a view of the sea, and an enjoyable place to relax when we weren't out exploring. We found all of that with John's apartment and at a price that allowed us to stay a week. What more could you want! And best of all John's hospitality and local knowledge ensures that when you have the inevitable travel hassle he's there to help you figure out your options. You can't get this type of experience at an overpriced, indifferent hotel. And if you are considering off season or shoulder seasons, we went in late March and it was perfect - no crowds, no traffic, easy restaurant reservations, no wilting in the heat. We had some rain, but it adds to the charm. Duck into a cafe and have an espresso or glass of wine and enjoy!

Comfortable accommodation with stunning views

We spent five days in John Durnford's apartment in November 2017. Booking is a doddle and John's comprehensive instructions make it easy to get to the apartment, however you intend to travel. We would recommend the taxi to and fro' the airport. The apartment is comfortable and particularly well-equipped, with everything you need for self-catering (although you would have to be a stoic to ignore the attractions of Nice's restaurants) The first thing that strikes you is the fabulous view over Nice and the lovely balcony to enjoy it from. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, the seating area light and airy and the bed is comfortable. The port is a 10 minute walk away and the old town 20 minutes, but we wholeheartedly recommend the public transport system, especially using a five euro day pass. Two well-stocked supermarkets are a ten minute walk away, but Carrefour was our choice as you walk downhill with the shopping!

Fantastic views - every amenity

This was our 3rd stay and have booked again. We love the views over the harbour, the bay & Mediterranean and the city.

The apartment has everything you ever need inc. excellent Wi-Fi, swimming pool and parking.

Easy access to everything Nice has to offer as well as Villafranche, Cap Ferrat, Monaco either by car or bus. John is an excellent host and all arrangements very easy and friendly.

Great location to explore Côte d'Azur

Lovely apartment in a great location to explore the Cote d’Azur. Walkable to the centre of Nice, 10 mins from supermarket and a bus stop outside to take you along the coast, very handy and cheap, the train station is also walkable. The balcony has stunning views of Nice, the port and Baie des Anges. Good size pool, ideal to use in the morning if you like the shade. Recommend going to Villefranche just along the coast. The owners have thought of everything that might be needed during a stay. Would recommend for a couple.

Stunning 4 times stay

Our 4th year staying at this fabulous apartment. Clean, cool, A/C, totally furnished and with all the accoutrements, TV, WIFI, great kitchen. Stunning ocean views and excellent location on Mont Boron a very comfortable neighborhood of Nice just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet if you wish just minutes from downtown Nice Proper and Old Town with its quaint shops and great restaurants. Bus stops just in front of apartment. Head east to Villefranche sur Mer, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Eze, Monaco, or Menton. The large apartment balcony offers stunning views overlooking the Old Port for your lunch or dining pleasure at home. Nearby groceries ether at top or bottom of the hill totally easy accessibility 10 to 15 minute walk or don't forget to use the bus, very inexpensive. Again the local beaches are just a 15th minute walk down the hill. We consider this our home away from home, can't help but keep coming back.

Only 10 minutes bus from the sandy beach of Villefranche and 30 minutes by bus to Monaco with bus stops right outside the apartment.
