'Los Jardines' is a beautiful very well maintained complex in the unspoilt village of Alcossebre, it is a traditional Spanish coastal village. (It is only a 20 minute taxi ride from Castellon Airport). WI FI is available. Los Jardines is reputed to be the finest in the area. It is close to the beach, (only 6 mins walk), shops, bars and restaurants, (only 4

mins walk). Alcossebre still maintains that old traditional Spanish village charm. It has none of the usual package tour holidays, no high rise blocks, and is only 15 minutes walk to the beautiful marina at Las Fuentas. There are 5 local beaches within easy reach, and rarely get

overcrowded. There are some beautiful walks along the Coast, and the hills that form an excellent backdrop to surrounding scenery. The village has its own medical

centre with an English speaking Doctor on duty most of the time. We supply far more extras than most other apartments, that include, buckets and spades, beach chairs, beach mats, beach umbrellas, goggles, first aid kit, sewing kit, Selection DVDs, books and many more. We

believe that our welcome pack is one of the best.

About Roger

It has always been my intention to give the same attention to detail to my guests, that I would hope for when arranging my own holiday.

I am now retired. I have had the pleasure to have serve as President of my Local Chamber of Trade.

I have also had the honour to stand as Chairman and President of my Local 'Round Table.

Past Captain of my local Golf Club.

I have been married for over 43 years, and have 5 children, and 9 grandchildren.

Why Roger chose Alcossebre

We purchased this apartment in Alcossebre, after looking at many other locations in Spain.

We did not want anywhere that attracts the young club going tourist. Alcossebre has many quality Restaurants, several beautiful beaches, and is close to the mountains. There are none of the high rise blocks of apartments and Hotels. It can be so very peaceful outside of the school holidays, so we spend as much time as we can here.

What makes this apartment unique

The Apartment is on, what is reputed to be the very best Complex in the area, and only 6 minutes walk to the beach, and it is close to the best Supermarket in town.

We have lots of extras that you can take to the beach with you.

Notes on accommodation: The games room is situated underneath the living accommodation, it includes a beautiful full size pool table, a full size table tennis and dartboard. No smoking in the apartment or games room, please. We also supply buckets and spades for your children, together with 2 sun umbrellas with sand screws, two small beach chairs and two beach mats, that you can take to the beach with you. The complex has one of the most beautiful pools, together with a separate pool for the small children. Outside: We provide 2 adjustable sun loungers, and 2 adjustable relaxing chairs, so you can relax at either the poolside or in the beautiful gardens, or you may bring your relaxing chairs onto your private terrace to really relax while drinking ice cold drinks and watching the children. We also supply free of charge, A childs buggy, high chair, child gate, and many more extras. Utility Room: No utility room, but at no extra charge, we include a travel cot (we ask you to bring your own bedding), high chair and pushchair and many other extras that other apartments charge for. Just contact us to find out the further details of all the extras. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided, (not beach towels), your apartment is cleaned between each rental. Other: Your private terrace has table and 4 chairs. We supply free of charge, a child gate, that will give you that extra peace of mind. We supply a free High chair and a Buggy. We believe in trying to give our guests great value for money.

wonderful stay

We had a fantastic time at this apartment. We are a couple in our 30's with a toddler and the apartment was perfect for us but spacious enough for 2 couples. Roger has thought of everything-from pool and beach toys, sun loungers, towels, DVDs for kids, games, books, through to a travel cot and mattress for the little one, and even a buggy! The welcome pack was a really nice touch and lots of information about the area which Roger provided was so useful. The pool area is clean and well maintained, with a toddler pool as well as a larger pool for swimming. really handy for the supermarket over the road too. Thank you for such a great stay!

What a fabulous place!

A superb place to stay

We have just returned from a fantastic week staying at this beautiful apartment. The accommodation is immaculate and Roger, the owner, provides an exceptional service to ensure that holiday makers enjoy their stay to the full.

Upon arrival we were delighted to find a welcome pack providing the basic food and drink requirements as well as a nice, chilled bottle of wine! The owner has also written a most useful information pack, which can be found in the apartment and provides some great advice on places to visit and restaurants to try.

The complex, Los Jardines, is a delight, with beautiful gardens, a well-maintained pool and a great location near the town centre while still being peaceful. The games room is a fantastic addition to the property and very useful for the children should you have a cooler day.

We have rented many properties over the years throughout Europe and I can truthfully say that this is the best holiday home we have stayed in.

beautiful and perfectly located apartment

We have stayed on this complex before, so were familiar with it. This particular apartment was better than previous ones as it was perfectly located for watching children in the pool with the added bonus of the games room.

It was extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Only a short walk from the supermarket - very handy ! and a slightly longer but nice walk into town.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful and made the experience wonderful by providing us with a CD of photos and their recommendations for days out and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay and the only down was was we didn't want to go home and wished we had booked for longer !!

I would highly recommend staying in this apartment for a fabulous holiday :)

Great apartment

Great apartment and good location near the town. We really enjoyed the games room having plenty of games on the table tennis table. It was lovely to find chocolates and wine waiting in the fridge - a lovely touch. A really lovely place

The nearest sandy beach is only 6 minutes walk away. There are 5 blue flag beaches locally, where you can relax at a beach bar or one of the many seafront restaurants. For those of you that feel really energetic there are lots of rugged coastline walks.

Travel: The new Castellon airport is less than 20 minutes away, with Ryanair flying from Stanstead and Bristol (Check with the Ryanair web site).

Valencia airport is about 1 hour. Reus airport is about 1 hour 15 mins. Ryanair fly into both these airports, and they have some excellent bargains at times. The apartment is linked to both airports by the main AP7 motorway. Barcelona is about 2 hours drive. Car hire is recommended, however, if you do not drive, we can arrange a private collection from the airport. As part of our service we can book your car hire for you, if you prefer.


Nearest large town is Castellon about half hour. Benicarlo 20 minutes. Peniscola (where the film El Cid, starring Charlton Heston was filmed) is about 20 minutes, and Universal studios theme park Porta Aventura is just over 1 hour. The water park at Benicassim is about 25 minutes.

Further Details:

There are plenty of banks with cash points, Tapas bars (one where you can sit under grape vines), Medical Centre with an English speaking doctor. Plenty of Shops and supermarkets, also there are some superb restaurants. A shop that stocks a good range English food that will include some of your favourites . We will supply you one of the most comprehensive packs, detailing all you need to know about the area, we supply maps and photos, most of which, I have taken myself, of some stunning scenes up to one and a half hours drive. We also supply you with a host of information that we believe is second to none. In the summer the beach is home to a range of pedaloes rowing boats and small sail boats, and is always patrolled by a team of Red Cross Lifesavers. Bicycles are available to hire throughout the holiday season, and there is an excellent crazy golf course, within walking distance. Also available are horse-riding, tennis volleyball and diving off the Columbretes Islands.

You may make your reservation by email or telephone.A deposit of £130 per week is required on the day of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the commencment of your holiday. A further £100 deposit against any breakages or damage must also be paid, but this will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are very flexible as many people take advantage of the cheaper midweek fares from Ryanair or Easyjet. Arrival time 3:00pm onwards, departure 10am. This may be flexible, if other guests are not arriving the same day.
