Beautiful well maintained and fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

Absolutetly fantastic. It was a real home from home with all the personal touches. The outside space and the views were amazing. Haven't got anything negative to say. The locals, the restraunts and bars were brilliant, couldn't the do enough for you.Would highly recommend this villa, its one of the best villas we have stayed in. The hills can be a bit of a pain but taxis are cheap. The wifi in the villa is brilliant, better than we get at home. Thank you Marie and we will be back. Steve, North Dorset.

An amazing villa with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

Hi, we booked this villa last August 2016 and I must say we had an amazing stay at villa Kristiana. The villa hosts some of the most spectacular views of Kalkan. We loved every minute of our stay there with our helpful guide Mehmet whom we befriended and are still in touch with him till today. Excellent service, the owners are the most kindest and helpful people we have come across as villa owners and we would like to thank them for allowing us the opportunity to stay at their villa. We will be coming back and to be fair I thought I had already put this review up in fact. Five star from us Kazi and Co.

Fabulous Villa, Views & Terrace

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a fabulous two week stay at Villa Kristina. The views from the villa have to be some of the best in Kalkan, perched high up you have a birds eye view of the bay and the mountains to each side, the sunsets from here are really something. This one of the nicest villa stays we've ever done, felt quite special. The layout of the terrace combined with the upstairs balcony provides various places to sit, take in the views, sun-bake or relax. The villa is tastefully decorated and the main bedroom is enormous with even more of those stunning views. Hats off to the owners who have put a lot of thought into this lovely home, as well as the finer details so that you have a comfortable and welcoming stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely Villa in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

I would like to express my impress of a recent stay at Villa Kristina in Kalkan.

It proved to be an excellent holiday. The villa itself was very tastefully decorated and was so comfortable with every facility anyone could need.It had the most magnificent uninterrupted views across the bay of Kalkan with it's turquoise waters on this Emerald coast.

There is a larger terrace with a good sized infinity pool with new sun loungers, again with views across the bay. There is covered pergola area with comfortable chairs and a settee - perfect for shade in the afternoon, after a swim or an evening appetiser. There is another patio to the side of the villa with table and chairs for outdoor eating and a large barbeque in the corner.

The villa itself was very well organised. There were two lounges with large settees and chairs. There was a modern television, CD player and a good selection of books, games and information again Kalkan itself and the surrounding historical area. For the energetic there was a full sized table tennis table available. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need to prepare meals. There was a large fridge freezer and full sized cooker and plenty of glassware, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.

The bedrooms were spacious with good wardrobe space. The main bedroom has a small balcony with table and chairs, perfect for watching the sunset over the bay. In the large bathroom there was a good sized shower and roomy washing area.

We enjoyed an excellent holiday and explored some of the many historic sites. We had a full day trip to Kekova and surrounding islands in a gullet, which stopped at certain places to allow us to swim in the clear waters and provided lunch on the boat. The trip itself only cost £20 per person.

Kalkan itself has a large market, an excellent choice of restaurants with Turkish and International cuisine. A truly memorable holiday with no stop sunshine.

Really lovely villa in a stunning location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of our stay at Villa Kristina. The villa is very light and airy and a lot of thought has gone into fitting it out with what you might need. The views are beautiful and we loved sitting in bed in the morning drinking our coffee and watching the boats going out to sea.

The villa is in a quiet location but not too secluded, it was just a five minute drive into Kalkan where there are three supermarkets with plenty of choice. Eating out was very cheap and the food in the restaurants is what you would expect from high class restaurants in England and the people are absolutely charming.

We lived in the pool, our teenage daughter was often still in it at midnight! There are plenty of places to sit outside, both in the sun and shade and we loved our lunches at the outside table, where you can pull curtains around the eating area if you want some shade.

The villa was spotless on our arrival and there is a management team on hand if there are any problems. The arrangements to pick up and drop off the key are seamless, even when we were delayed and did not reach Kalkan until 1am. The manager even offered to personally show us around Kalkan.

The table tennis table became a huge hit and extremely competitive! It's a really nice touch. There's a good selection of books for all tastes and a large selection of DVD's which are even separated according to age range. We had intended watching several of the films but in fact didn't watch any because we were always outside!

There is a large selection of places to visit, and trips available (the owners provided a really useful leaflet and folder with recommendations) and every day we considered going on one but when it came to it we chose to remain at the villa instead. Perhaps if we had booked two weeks we may have been tempted to go out!

We both have stressful jobs and it was wonderful to have such a relaxing holiday, even our daughter didn't miss the wifi at all and we came away feeling we had spent a really special time together as a family. Villa Kristina feels like a home from home and our only regret was that we hadn't booked it for longer.

Relaxing holiday

  • 5 of 5

The villa was perfect for us and we would definitely recommend it for those looking for a lovely relaxing holiday. The villa is tastefully laid out and decorated, and is very comfortable. The large pool and jacuzzi were great fun for all the family. The children loved the table tennis and swing ball. The books and DVDs were a nice touch as well for nights spent in. The best thing was the amazing views over the sea and mountains. We went out for a whole day's gulet trip, lunch included, where we all went swimming and snorkelling in the coves around the coastline. We all had a wonderful, relaxing holiday and are looking forward to returning.
