Built in 2003 on the crest of a hill, never to be overlooked, with spectacular views across to Maro, the Mediterranean and the 'Sierra de Almijara' mountains. Private pool, plus a large terrace of 85 sq.m. with retractable sunshades, table, six comfortable chairs, sunbeds and umbrella. Additional table and chairs for four on the upstairs terrace, plus a retractable sunshade. Outside brick built barbecue with external sink. 10 mins walk down to Burriana Beach, the main beach in Nerja. 5 minute walk from the nearest big supermarket, 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Numerous bars and restaurants plus a small supermarket on the beachfront. We own the villa outright, so rest assured nothing will come between you and your holiday. The villa fully complies with the new Andalucia rental law..

About Derek or Mandy Maddison

My wife and I first went to Nerja eighteen years ago and decided 'this is for us'. Although we now own three properties in the Burriana area (all on the Owners Direct site), we are not travel or rental agents, we run them privately as our long-term pension fund. We hope to retire out there someday, in the meantime we maintain and look after them as anyone would their own home.

Convector heaters for the 'winter' and chilly evenings. Attractive rugs throughout. A 'welcome pack' is provided and there is a British Agent on hand to ensure a trouble-free stay. Outside: Private pool, approx 8 x 3m, 1.2m to 1.9m deep. Large terrace of 85 sq.m. with retractable sunshades, table, six comfortable chairs and umbrella, plus table and chairs for four on the upstairs terrace. Six sunbeds with covers. Outside built-in barbecue with external sink. Pool inflatables left by previous guests! Secure 'community' entrance shared with 2 adjacent detached villas, security grills on all external doors and windows. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels supplied, but not large beach towels. Changed after one week for two weeks bookings. Fully cleaned between bookings.

A ten-minute walk down to Burriana Beach, the main beach in Nerja. Five minute walk from the nearest supermarket, five minute drive into the centre of town or a twenty minute walk. Numerous bars and restaurants plus a small supermarket on the beachfront.


Malaga is the nearest airport, about 35 miles or a 50 minute drive, with motorway access to within a mile of the town. A car might be useful, especially if you intend to explore the area, but it is not essential.


Well worth a visit is Frigiliana, about five miles away, a restored Moorish mountain village. Nearby is the restored 'lost' hamlet of Acebuchal, originally abandoned in 1948. Two miles from the fishing village of Maro with the Nerja Caves and two hours from Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace.

A very popular resort, readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. Nestling on the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow vehicle restricted cobbled streets, offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the more fashionable resorts of the Costa del Sol. The most well known beach, Burriana, has been given a blue flag annually for many years. With other small picturesque beaches, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, plus its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for everyone, especially families and the more mature holidaymaker. However, there are some fairly steep roads and walkways, so it may not be suitable for those with walking or breathing difficulties.

Booking Notes:
We can post or email our booking form, or it can be downloaded from our own website. The deposit is £100 (£200 high season) per week booked, with the balance payable eight weeks beforehand.
Changeover Day:
Any day arrival or departure, subject to negotiation and existing bookings. Arrival time normally 4pm, departure 10am. Times are flexible if there is not a same-day changeover.

Notes on prices:
Extra days over a week pro-rata the weekly rate. For young families, one cot and high chair can be supplied free of charge, second cot/high chair £25 p.w. We accept debit and credit card payments via the secure online facility on our own website, giving UK guests financial security under the 1974 Consumer Credit Act.
