Apartment 1 - Sleeps 5 ( 3 Bedrooms) Free Wi-Fi Access

The apartment is furnished to a very high standard. The open plan design gives a sense of space and the furnishings and furniture make it very relaxing.

The open plan living room has cable TV, DVD player, VCR and a Bose compact Radio/CD music system. There is a good library of CDs, DVDs, books and board games. The roof terrace is ideal for a little 'alfresco' dining or for simply enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the magnificent views. It has a BBQ and 4 sunbeds.

The 2 main bedrooms each have a small balcony and the 3rd bedroom is located beside the roof terrace. A second TV and DVD Player are set up in the twin bedroom.

The third bedroom is a small single room. It has a single bed with a pull-out bed underneath (The pull-out bed is most suitable for a child.) There are 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). A cot can be provided, when needed. The kitchen has recently been modernised and comes fully equipped.

Both apartments are spacious, well-designed and beautifully furnished. They each have an open-plan layout, and are bright and airy, with high ceilings and patio doors off the living areas and bedrooms. Each apartment is a home away from home, with everything a guest would need for an enjoyable, comfortable holiday. They each have free Wi-Fi access.

Enjoy the music, TV, DVDs, books and board games. The roof terraces are ideal for 'alfresco' dining or for simply enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the magnificent views, or watching the sun go down.

The complex is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with mature palm trees, fruit trees and shrubs. The complex is awash with colour for most of the year. The Windmill has been lovingly restored and sits alongside the swimming pool and snack bar, where a little jazz music in the background offers the perfect accompaniment to a light meal or drink. There is a tennis court and a football court and plenty of parking.

First class accommodation

Have stayed in both Brenda's apartments and the standard of both are first class. They are extremely spacious, set over various levels and have have very large roof terraces with views over the town of albuferia and down the coast. The kitchens are well stocked and the DVDs, CDs books and games make it feel like a home from home. During my recent winter stay Brenda had provided portable heaters in case we needed a quick boost of heat while the static heaters warmed up (yet another welcome touch from the owner) Janet her manager in Portugal, called as usual to check we were happy with everything and offer advice about the area. There is also a well stocked folder of tourist leaflets and information in apartment. A pleasant walk downhill brings you into the old town and a slower uphill walk brings you back ( or a €5 taxi ) A perfect place to stay no matter what the weather is like. We will defiantly be returning again.

Notes on accommodation: Maid service is provided once during the week during a seven night stay and also once at the weekend when all the linens are changed, during a fortnight stay. Beach towels are also available for guests. Beach towels will be changed only at the end of the holiday. (They can be washed by guests during their stay.) Outside: Windmill Hill is a low rise complex, consisting of only 91 units. The complex is beautifully maintained. The gardens are mature with palm trees, various types of fruit trees and shrubs. The paths throughout are cobbled. The lovely swimming pool (including children's section) is positioned alongside the restored windmill and snack bar and is surrounded by mature palm trees. It overlooks Albufeira old town and the magnificent coastline. The complex also boasts a tennis court and a court with goal posts for football. The snack bar is usually open from April until the end of September.
