Suite On Grafton Beach, Tobago, Caribbean - Shared Pool and Gardens With Direct Access to the Beach

Check out time is 10am with check in at 5pm to allow for the suite to be made ready for incoming guests.

Queen Angel Suite is one of eight suites in the most beautiful exclusive secure development on Grafton Beach. Completely redecorated in October 2016 the interior is designed for relaxed informal living. A gate (with shower adjacent) takes you from the pool complex and gardens onto Grafton beach, one of the prettiest on the Island with excellent swimming, body boarding and snorkeling.

The Suite comprises of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area opening directly onto a west facing terrace. All bedrooms have super king sized beds two of which can be split into singles if required.

The lounge area has two large sofa/day beds with facility to be made up as two extra single beds.

Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the third bathroom is separate which allows guests or extra residents use independent of the third bedroom.

All rooms have air conditioning and the living and master bedroom suite have access directly onto the front terrace and overlook the sea.

The kitchen is equipped with high quality American oven, microwave and fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Towels and linen are supplied. A maid service is weekly unless by arrangement.

The suite is on the first floor with wonderful sunsets seen from the terrace which has a gas BBQ, seating for 6 and two sun loungers. A spiral staircase accesses the communal pool, sun terraces and gardens direct from the suite.

The complex is accessed via an automatic security gate leading to secure underground parking with internal access up to the suites.

The complex has a resident Swiss manager who lives in his own service suite and maintains all aspects of the development. He has two relaxed cats and a friendly dog Mango.

The Suite is fitted with fiber-broadband offering 25mbps speeds.

The owner, Jim Elliott, is British, a veterinary surgeon and property developer living in Somerset, UK. He is a keen scuba diver and sailor which drew him to the Island and consequently lead to him being one of the 8 original purchasers of this exclusive development.

It really is on the beach, no ‘only 5 mins from it’ which makes any trip an exercise in organisation...not what I want to do on holiday. Wonderful to relax on the sun terrace by the pool and see the kids playing on the beach in front of you a few yards away.

Wireless broadband signal is throughout the suite so you can sit on the terrace with laptop and use your skype/voip phones to call home for pence rather than with expensive mobiles. Daybed use by arrangement. Outside: Private BBQ on terrace, clover shaped pool complex with bridge, waterfall and tropical planting surrounded by sun terraces with loungers. stunning location stunning property

this is truly a stunning place, we arrived to be met by Norma and the jaw dropping views ...everything i expected but 3x bigger than anticipated ..wow ...Had a needed swim in the pool that evening... incredible unbelievable. woke the next morning to watch the fishermen bring in the seine nets and then watch the frigate birds and pelicans get their share ...true caribbean experience. The location is right on the beach which is stunning and very safe to swim at the end where the apartment is located....perfect. Did not use the spiral stairs to beach as they were very steep for 80 yr mother who was celebrating birthday ....used main stairs very easy. There is a lovely couple as resident caretakers who keep the grounds impeccably...even unexpectedly came and cleaned apartment, changed bedding and towels part way through our stay. The verandah is where you live in this climate and it was great very spacious with the fabulous view. I would definately book this apartment again if/when we can get back :)

From the moment we reached the Suite and the time we Left the suite all went well.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this remarkable and Stunning Suite.

Jim the owner was great and communicated well; and Chris ...the guy that stays on property is the best.

WE hired a driver called "GENERAL "G" A LOCAL TAXI DRIVER...OMG - He is the BEST...I mean "THE BEST" contact him for any transportaion needs

All in All I would definitely recommend this Stunning Suite...the only issue I had was getting the top shower to work...complex!

A wonderful relaxing stay at Black Rock, Tobago

It was the most relaxing holiday I have had in years. I loved Tobago, the people, the food - everything. And our stay at Grafton Beach was wonderful.... a lovely comfortable apartment with everything we wanted. I would love to go again.

Stunning apartment in stunning location

The apartment was gorgeous. We were literally steps from the beautiful beach - pelicans, humming birds, an iguana! Had everything we needed - actually a real eye opener having a flat with a washer dryer to just chuck everything in after the beach! The key thing was the genuinely friendly and helpful people who played a part in making sure we had everything sorted - just wonderful, thank you all!

Relaxing in a perfect Caribbean setting

Simply stunning location. Walk directly onto the beach from the property. Sit on the balcony and watch hummingbirds in the bougainvillia flowers. This is the fourth time we've stayed in Queen Angel Suite and we are already planning our next trip. We were very pleased with the appartment's facelift. The whole place had just been painted before we arrived and it couldn't have looked better. The dishwasher was also brand new and fully functional. The new WiFi is faster than I get in the UK!

I would not hesitate to recommend this appartment as a gettaway destination. It is clean, bright and perfectly located.

Black Rock Dreams

The Dreams complex is about as near to perfection you can get without breaking the bank. I have stayed here several times now, and it truly is a warm, family friendly and relaxing place to stay. I will definitely come back, I will definitely stay here again. However I have to say, it is past time to reinvest in this particular condo. I'm not going to get critical but basic repairs are desperately needed, some furnishings should be replaced, and maybe throw some fresh paint on the walls. I wish the owner would have been informed of the construction that started during my holiday, sorry that's not polite.

I will say, I wish I could own this property, that would be my dream. The property manager was extremely nice, thank you Norma for everything! The Seahorse Inn, stunning! Thank you to all there who work there with Norma.

The property is a beach front complex, meticulously maintained by live in staff. It's a clean safe friendly place, where we have had a nice time with guests and staff. It's easy to get to, easy to find and convenient for the shopping essentials.

Special interest holidays:

Tobago is a breakaway from South America and not a volcanic island like most of the Caribbean Islands and therefore the flora and fauna is far more diverse, hence the rain forest hikes and bird watching trips available and the acknowledgement of this with the rain forests being protected since the 1800's. The island also has fantastic diving/snorkeling due to the rich sediment coming from the Orinoco. There is a fully equipped Padi dive school 200 yards along the beach from the suite. Grafton and the adjacent beaches are Turtle beaches, so at night you are on hand to go at night to see these wonderful creatures come on shore and lay their eggs.

Coast/Beach:

Grafton beach is one of the prettiest on the island; it is on the sheltered Caribbean side yet has an enjoyable surf great for body boarding. The beach slopes gently so is easy to enter and the surf can be enjoyed whilst standing. Beyond the surf the bay is excellent for swimming and good snorkeling around Fort Bennet point. There are craft boutiques, beach restaurant/bar, a full padi dive centre 150 yards away. The premier seafood restaurant on the Island, The Seahorse Inn is 50 yards away.

Travel:

The airport is about 20 mins drive. There are direct flights from Virgin, BA and BWIA whilst the charter airline Monarch flies all year at generally cheaper rates. Flight times around 8 hours, the island is 5 hours behind UK (and 50 years in terms of pace). Car hire can be arranged which will meet you at the airport and where you return it when leaving. Your own car is the best way to really discover Tobago.

Distances:

Local grocery stores for essentials are a few mins walk from the suite but better shopping is at Morshead, 10 mins away off the Buccoo Road. Most afternoons after 4pm the roadside wall at Mount Irvine Bay 5 mins away becomes a fresh fish market and there is the weekly market in Scarborough on Fridays and Saturdays.

Further Details:

Tobago is simple and a place primarily to relax in. It has attractions but they are low key and natural such as the rainforest which is rich in nature and wildlife and some beautiful beaches with rain forest coming right down to meet them. There are water sports, bone fishing and boating trips at the southern end whilst the northern end of the island is almost deserted with a definite step back in time feel to Speyside and Charlottesville. The northern coast road is slow but pretty winding past beaches and communities as Englishman's Bay, Parlatuvier Bay and Bloody Bay. Tobago is a turtle island and one of the best diving locations in the Caribbean with huge soft corals, sponges and rich marine life from the nutrient rich waters from the Orinoco. The island of Little Tobago off Speyside is a dedicated bird sanctuary with over 50 types of tropical birds including the rare Bird of Paradise. Bone fishing and boating trips are available to catch Tarpin or tuna to put on the BBQ. There are a number of excellent restaurants and many simple way side snack bars. Whilst night life is not really a feature, the weekly Sunday School at Buccoo, 7 mins away is famous with music, dancing and liming which lasts from 7pm in the evening till the early hours!
