About David Harvey

We have a long affinity with Sitges and know the town and surrounding area very well. My partner and I rent out two holiday apartments that belong to us. We manage our rentals through a UK registerd company Sitges Boat Ltd. We have been running holiday lets for many years now and we know what holidaymakers want for their stay and the standards and information they require. Booking with us means you'll have a direct contact for your stay. We assist with airport transfers, the language, questions or tips and help in an emergency. We have a great deal of local information and can advise on sea and land tours so that you don't make any 'first visit' mistakes. Local knowledge is key ! We bought this property as a holiday home, and still use it as such ourselves, so it is furnished with a home from home feel. Everyone comments on the standard, in particular the beds - which are proper ones ! The apartment is in the historic quarter of Sitges and less than a minute on foot to the stunning beaches. Located in one of the quietest parts of the town in one of the most iconic streets of Sitges, it is an easy walk to all restaurants and nightlife. As it is a residential street, we ask you respect the working timetables.

What makes this apartment unique

Sitges is a picture perfect holiday resort and has been unspoilt by the package industry which largely misses Sitges from its brochures. You won't find any lager louts in Sitges, instead it has a very relaxed easy going atmosphere and it attracts a wide mix of progressively minded people. There is fun nightlife, great restaurants, smart shopping and relaxing days on the beach with the bustle of a big city like Barcelona only half an hour away.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment has air conditioning and for the winter central heating. It is on the second and third floors of a nice block with 2 other residential apartments. Calle d'Aigua is a quiet residential street and it is our second home and our guest are expected to respect this, i.e. no wild parties. It is in a quiet area and our neighbours do not take kindly to those that don't respect the environment. It is ideal for 4 persons. Outside: The apartment has a balcony per bedroom. Al fresco dining area as well as indoor dining. The large roof terrace is private and not overlooked, with loungers, a cool off shower and shade. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels for use in flat provided. Beach towels are not provided. Maid service available on request. Linen change over weekly. Other: Cot / high chair / fold away bed facilities available for hire.

Excellent apartment in the best location.

From the minute we booked contact with David was excellent. He met us halfway from the station which was a great help and showed us round the apartment explaining everything in detail. The apartment is every bit as good as all the other reviews confirm. An excellent location for station, beach and a great choice of eating places all within easy reach. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Sitges. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful apartment and best location in Sitges

Every detail has been attended to in this lovely apartment, and the owners were a pleasure to rent from. Steps from the apartment are the best charcuterie, vegetable / fruit shop, and bakery in Sitges. Lots of stairs, but thats why they have the great views.

To clarify the stairs to would be new renters it is one flight into the apartment with a short flight once inside to level one for the first bedroom suite. There there is another short flight inside to level 2 for the kitchen, lounge and bedroom two. Then to access the expansive terrace with sea views there is an external private stairway. We hope to see Kate and her family her again soon. David

The place to stay if visiting Sitges.

Penthouse Daisy is perfectly located in a great street with all amenities. It made us feel like we were part of the local community. The apartment itself is huge and on one floor enabling us to relax and not feel on top of each other. The patio off the lounge is bigger than the photos suggests and we basically lived out on the terrace. Jo Sarvesvaran.

We had a lovely time at Uncle Clive's apartment. It was so large we roller-skated inside. (Ethan aged 13 ) Don’t tell Uncle Clive! (Noah aged 10)

Fantastic location near the beach and bars

I had a lovely time and David made my stay very easy. Penthouse Daisy has everything you would expect at home and is quiet yet very centrally located. Having English TV was great as it meant I did not miss the cricket scores. The upstairs terrace is huge and well appointed and in reality I spent most of my time up there. Rob Owen

Home from home

We have spent the last two winters in Sitges - staying at the excellent Daisy apartment. Great outside space with good views and both bedrooms have a balcony that invite you to relax. The location is a real positive close to shops, cafes and the beach. The proximity to Barcelona is also a welcome bonus if you can drag yourself away from Sitges. Counting the days until we go back again this year.

Located in the peace of the old town of Sitges, behind its iconic church, with panoramic views of the town and sea from the private sun deck. Two bedrooms, each with a balcony and bathrooms. The apartment has all modern conveniences including a/c and UK TV.

This apartment is the historic Carrer de Aigua in the heart of the old town. A peaceful sleepy street of Sitges and yet a two minute stroll to restaurants, bars and beaches, and nightlife. Unlike many in Sitges, the apartment is Council approved and regulated.


Clean beaches, a mile of them have loungers, cafes and facilities. There is a nudist beach as well. All beaches are within an easy walk of the apartment. It is less than a minute to the nearest beach. All shops needed are within a minute's walk with a greengrocer and butcher, a wine merchant and a supermarket next to the apartment.


The nearest airport is Barcelona El Prat. We can arrange cost effective airport transfers with an English driver in a premium car. i.e. no rip off taxi rust buckets ! A car is not needed in Sitges and a cost effective run around car can be hired locally if you want to make a day's excursion.


The nearest market town is Vilanova 3 km south of Sitges with hypermarket and open market. Inland at 10km is Vilafranca. There are a number of good sightseeing options including the Pennedes Vineyards. An hour south is the theme park of Port A'ventura. Barcelona is 30 mins by train and the trains run every 15 minutes. Train travel is very cheap compared to the UK. There is a through the night coach service as trains do not run between midnight and 5am.

Further Details:

Sitges is an unspoilt holiday village with something to cater to every taste. The town is packed with great restaurants, many on the seafront itself. There are banks, chemist and clinics if needed. Most people speak English who work in the small town.

There is a 20€ charge for this unless you opt for a transfer back to the airport which we can arrange. Out of hours check-in additional charges: 6pm to 9pm: 25€, 9pm to 12am: 40€ and 60€ thereafter to 7am.
