Great views, clean, quite location

Very clean and comfy apartment with great views which can accommodate 4 people. The owners provided all the necessities and could answer any questions, but were non-intrusive at the same time. The village is small, but vibrant (at least in August) and is a short drive away from St Tropez, Port Grimaud and other towns on the coast. We were very pleased with our stay, thank you.

Encore en France

We have recently returned from our third year at Les Emeraudes and about to book for next year. I think that says it all. The accommodation is always very clean and comfortable and the owners are a delight to deal with. Enjoy.

Pleasant retreat

A very pleasant appartment with all you need in the way of facilities and equipment. Having been lived in by the owners it is homely and very well maintained, clean and in good order. It also has and a very good view.

It can be a bit difficult to find when you first get there. In May we had no problems parking.

The owners were not far away and could answer questions and quickly mended a leak in the bathroom.

It is a very good base for this part of the cote d'azur and I would recommend the apartment to anyone.

Great Holiday Location

A well equipped and comfortable apartment with lovely views from the terrace, which is ideal for afternoon sunbathing and for outdoor eating. The owners have given great thought to providing everything needed for a comfortable stay including sun parasol and picnic chairs for the beach. La Croix-Valmer is a lovely village with great shops selling local produce and is perfectly located for exploring the nearby beaches and villages along this beautiful coastline. The communal pool was an added bonus, being spacious, clean and well maintained. We expect to be back!

Lovely Apartment

Well equipped, clean and comfortable apartment. Pleasant views from the terrace over the valley. Excellent location for touring the area. Good local beaches within easy reach. Parking outside the apartment in high season can be challenging, but there are plenty of spaces within easy walking distance. Well maintained community pool. We have had a couple of enjoyable holidays at this apartment.

Nearest Airport : Toulon-Hyeres at 50 Kilometres Nearest Train : Les Arcs at 45 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A8 at 40 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Debarquement at 10 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

There is a beautiful 7km beach just 10 minutes drive away with a variety of watersports on offer.

Travel:

La Croix-Valmer is about 100km (1 1/2 hours) from Nice Cote d'Azur airport and 45 mins from Toulon airport, both of which offer daily flights to and from the UK as well as many other European destinations. Marseille and Nimes (2 1/2 hours) are also worth considering, as there are regular flights through BA, Easyjet and Ryanair.

A car is advisable for getting around, although in high season there is a very useful free shuttlebus service to the village and beaches which stops outside the domain.

Distances:

The village of La Croix-Valmer is a 15 mins walk. Saint Tropez is a 20 min drive and Sainte Maxime 25 mins (traffic depending).

Further Details:

Situated 1km from busy Provencal village with tourist information, restaurants, shops, supermarket, banks, lovely Provencal market every Sunday. Free shuttle bus to village and beaches runs past entrance to domaine.

Sofa-bed in living room suitable for 1 adult or 2 small children. Small extra cost for linen for sofa-bed. Outside: A large pleasant pool can be found in the development just a short walk from the accommodation. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed equipped with duvet/covers and pillows. Linen and towels included, changed weekly. The apartment will be prepared and cleaned prior to each arrival and renters are kindly requested to leave the apartment in the condition in which they find it.
