Apartment in La Barrosa, Chiclana de la Frontera - Spacious Grounds and Pools, Safe Peaceful Area

The apartment is situated in a stunning complex which includes pools, bar/restaurant, tennis courts, children's play area all set in beautiful gardens. The whole area is child friendly and safe with a large fence round the pools. The sea is at the end of the road and can be seen from the entrance. The beach is 6 miles of white sands with numerous cafes and restaurants dotted along the beach front. Sports include kite surfing, wind surfing, surfing, sailing, golf, tennis and horse riding at 2 equestrian centres 5min away. The main street is 100m towards the beach where fresh bread and all essentials can be bought. There are lots of great bars and tapas restaurats located in this area.

Fabulous Location

We had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment which is in the most fabulous location.

Just a few minutes walk to the beach and perfectly located for trips to Cadiz

Great Location

In a really perfect spot for walking to the beach and enjoying the many bars and restaurants. I was holidaying alone and found the apartment secure, comfortable and well equipped. It all felt very Spanish as I was there in mid-May so it was quiet but lively at the weekend.

Chiclana town is a must and the walks along the beach are just lovely. Further afield is really not that far for anyone wanting to visit more of the coast or inland. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A quiet corner of real Spain

This is a lovely apartment in a very quiet and secure area only minutes walk from a fantastic beach. There are lots of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance but out of season (as we were ) not all are open. It is a much more "Spanish" part of the Costas which we loved. The apartment is very well equipped with a big patio area for eating or just relaxing. To visit most of the places of interest you need a car but we loved Cadiz, Sanlucar and the stunning coastline.

Nearest Airport : Jerez at 30 Kilometres Nearest Beach : La Barossa at 300 Metres


The Blue Flag award winning La Barrosa is only 200m from the apartment and links up La Roche beach to the north. Sancti Petri beach is a 10mins walk from Barrosa or a 5mins drive away over the headland. At Sancti Petri port there are more bars and a watersprots centre for kite surfing and wind surfing etc. Towards Tarfia the coast is littered with more stunning beaches such as Conil and Zahara.


Nearest airport is Jerez 45mins drive. There is a coach from the airport directly to Chiclana or taxis are available.

Sevilla 1hr 15mins drive.

Gibralta 1hr 30mins drive.

Malaga 2hrs 30mins drive.


An easy drive to the tranquil white washed hilltop villages, Vejer, Medina and Arcos. Cadiz, the oldest city in Europe, is only 25mins drive away. The area is famous for sherry production and there are many bordegas situated in the local area and at Jerez. Tarifa is only 45mins down the coast, the ferry to Morroco is only 30mins as well as diving and more fantastic beaches famed for kite surfing and windsurfing. The resort of Novo Sancti Petri is only 5 min away and with many fine hotels a bars.

There is an off-street allocated parking place within the complex. Outside: Shared large and small swimming pools set in spacious, beautiful gardens.
