Apartment in Herceg Novi, Southern Coastal - Quiet Residential Location

Apartments are located a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the old city with shops and restaurants. The apartments are two 1 bedroom apartments each with a separate bedroom with twin beds. The apartments are adjacent so can be rented together or separately. Total accommodations are for 8 persons. Apartment 1 faces the front with a wrap around balcony. apartment 2 is on the side with a smaller balcony, but also with a sea view.

Living/dining area is open plan with dining table and 4 chairs. New furniture with large double sofa/bed to sleep 2 adults and satellite TV, CD player.

Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, 4 burner stove with oven, large fridge, washing machine, toaster, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and wine glasses.

Bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and overhead closets, bedside table and lamps.

Bathroom with WC, shower and electric heater.

Front balcony with spectacular views wraps around side of apartment.

We found Montenegro had spectacular scenery, interesting history and friendly people. It was also less than half as expensive as Croatia.

The beach is a 5 min walk from the apartments. The 5 Danica promenade/beach is the best in Herceg Novi, with beaches, restaurants and cafes. The promenade extends for 7km along the seaside in Herceg Novi. The Old City (Stari Grad) is also a 5 min walk and has shops, restaurants, museums, galleries, old churches, picturesque squares and a marina.


Air travel is through either Dubrovnik in Croatia (25km) or Tivat, also 25km. Car hire is available in Herceg Novi or at the airport in Dubrovnik.


Kotor is about 30 mins drive along the Kotor Bay with its beautiful coastline and quaint stone villages. Kotor Bay is the southern-most fjord in Europe. Kotor has a beautiful old walled city, harbor and marina with good restaurants, shops and open markets.

Further Details:

There are small grocery shops and convenience stores within 5 mins walk of the apartments. ATMs, banks and clothing, book and food stores are in the old city.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remainder payable upon check in. A 150 euros refundable deposit is required upon arrival to cover any material damage. Payment of deposit can be made via bank transfer. Pets are not allowed unless agreed with owner in writing.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday, but there can be some flexibility depending on availability.

Prices are for the properties per week in Euros. Shorter or longer stays can also be accommodated, depending on availability. Please call or e-mail owner at ghitch@yahoo.com for details or any other questions. The prices shown above are for apartment 1. Apartment 2 rates are €250 and €200, respectively.

25% deposit is required to confirm booking. This can be made by wire transfer. 75% is payable upon arrival.

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartments are located on the 4th floor of a five storey building. Each has split unit heating / air conditioning. Furnished to high quality standard. Building is 15 years old with high quality construction. Bed linens and towels are provided and will be changed once weekly. The apartments will be cleaned once weekly. Balconies each have table and 4 chairs, as well as mobile clothes drying rack. Outside: There is a private parking area on site, but no allocated spaces. Therefore in peak season parking must be off-site on adjacent streets or in the municipal parking lot 3 minutes walk from the apartment.
