Casa Bonita is a very spacious detached single storey holiday rental villa situated in a quiet residential area of Moraira known as La Sabatera. The villa sleeps up to 9 guests in 3 bedrooms each with their own en suite. Facilities include a private 8m x 4m swimming pool & terraces, outdoor summer kitchen with fridge & gas barbeque, free WiFi, secure private parking for 3/4 cars.

Updated in 2016 with new flooring throughout, new internal doors, a 3rd en suite shower room, new terraces & new driveway with electronically operated gate .. for extra security.

The local supermarket, newsagents, bakery, hairdresser, taxi, bars & restaurant are just 700 metres. Five minutes’ drive to beach, town, restaurants, bars, 10 minutes’ drive local golf course. The villa sits on a 1000m2 south facing plot with most rooms enjoying sea and mountain views across the vineyards.

The main entrance door leads into the naya which has three sets of fully retractable sliding glass doors to the balcony & pool terrace steps. The views across the vineyards to the sea are wonderful! The naya also serves as the dining area with table & chairs. Steps lead down from the naya to the swimming pool & terrace, which is fully equipped with sun beds, tables, chairs & outside toilet. The outside summer kitchen with built-in gas barbeque & fridge has everything you need for al fresco dining. The large Mediterranean garden offers plenty of shade beneath the pine and palm trees. Beach towels are provided free of charge.

A large archway in the naya leads to the very spacious living room with a log burner fireplace, satellite TV (47” Panasonic Smart TV with Freesat ... many English channels), Wi-Fi Internet Connection, DVD/CD players with music & movies, games & books, 2 leather sofas, and a king size sofa bed.

An archway off the living room leads to the master bedroom (with en suite shower room) which overlooks the pool terrace with views to the sea. The twin bedroom has its own large en suite bathroom with corner bath & separate walk-in shower, clients have a choice of twin single beds or one superking size bed. The triple bedroom has a king size bed & a single bed with en suite shower room. All rooms (except bathrooms) have ceiling fans. All windows (except naya sliding doors) are fitted with security bars (rejas) & most have pull down mosquito screens.

Another archway off the living room leads to the large kitchen which is fully fitted with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer (for long term renters use only).

Full central heating and the log burner fire make this villa ideal for winter lets.

Local supermarket, newsagents, hairdresser, taxi, cafe, bars & restaurant are 700m from villa. 5 minute drive/25 minute walk to Moraira town & main beach.

We are a working couple in our sixties hoping one day to be able to spend more time at our lovely holiday home in Moraira! Until then, we rent our villa to holiday makers, aiming to provide a "holiday to remember" in a "home from home" atmosphere with everything you could wish for, from your own private swimming pool & outdoor summer kitchen to spacious modern living in our well kept villa.

Moraira is a beautiful small resort town with no package tourism at all! There are just a few small hotels. Originally a fishing village, Moraira is surrounded by white-washed villas nestling in the pine clad foothills of the Marina Alta mountains & overlooking fine sandy beaches, calm seas & rocky coves. The area is designated as a conservation zone of extraordinary beauty, where height and density of buildings are strictly controlled.

The village itself with its picturesque marina and daily fish market, quaint churches, squares and back streets bursting with shops, bars, wonderful restaurants and markets still retaining their Spanish character are just some of the many reasons why so many people choose to settle in this area.

Date of stay: April 2014: We have really enjoyed our time in Moraira & Casa Bonita. In the pool every day (to the amazement of the locals!). Driving through the Jalon valley & up into the mountains is a must if you have a car. We would love to return. Many thanks Liz.



Date of Stay: July 2013. Superb! The villa has everything you need and want. The villa exceeded all expectations and a great holiday was had by all. All the essentials are provided and much much more. We particularly liked the outdoor cooking area. The villa was cool and provided a perfect base. Booking was very simple and it was nice to be provided with guides etc of the local area to plan activities. We will be going back!!!

"Easy-going, relaxed break" Date of Stay:June 2011. The house is light and airy, and in the only external sounds we heard were the palm trees swishing in the wind. Perfect for our requirements - a week of relaxing, reading and soaking up some warmth. Excellent outdoor eating facilities, and a great view from the pool area so we ate every meal outside.

Moraira:

Moraira is ideally situated in a bay on the Northern Costa Blanca coast between the resorts of Javea and Calpe, approximately 50 miles north of Alicante and 70 miles south of Valencia airports, with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both.

The Costa Blanca, meaning the “white coast” is on the Eastern coast of Spain extending for more than two hundred kilometres from the citrus groves & the rice paddies of Valencia southwards to the rugged coastline of Alicante & beyond. It is a world full of surprising contrasts that captivates visitors thanks to its scenic diversity & cultural wealth, living in perfect harmony with a mountainous interior dotted with fertile valleys, luxuriant orchards & market gardens.

The region boasts at least 300 sunny days each year with temperatures ranging from 14 degrees in winter to 30+ degrees in summer, giving it a microclimate, which is ideal for both holidays & year-round living. The sea & mountain air is highly recommended & the region is shielded from the cold winter winds of the interior by a screen of mountains. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed that the Moraira, Javea & Denia peninsula known as the Marina Alta has “one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world”.

A range of water sports is available including snorkelling, scuba diving, jet skiing and windsurfing.

Moraira is in a conservation area with very strict planning controls. The luscious green countryside is dotted with whitewashed private villas set amongst pinewoods, vine terraces and orange groves, providing an idyllic setting for those wanting total peace and privacy. The area remains predominately for villa owners and individuals who prefer and enjoy independent holidays. There are good night-clubs for all ages and many restaurants of varying cuisine, eight of which are Michelin recommended with three of them being star rated and not expensive. Golfers are also well catered for at the 3 nearby courses.

Moraira is approx 57 miles north of Alicante airport and 85 miles south of Valencia airport, with excellent motorway and coastal roads from both. Car hire is recommended.

Casa Bonita est une villa très bien entretenue avec une très belle vue sur la mer ! A notre arrivée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la qualité du ménage, les lits préparés ainsi que les cadeaux de bienvenue (boissons, thé, café, sucre, cookies) vraiment très agréable après une longue route !

Fantastic family holiday

The villa was exactly as shown on the photos. Very clean and well maintained. The welcome food & drink pack was a very nice touch and much appreciated. The directions to the villa were very clear and there were plenty of information sheets in the villa re restaurants and things to do. Our 4 year old loved the pool and we spent a lot of time there. The mini golf wasn't far and we spent a pleasant evening there as it has a bar/restaurant. Overall. the villa made our holiday and we were very sorry to leave it.

We have been using this villa since 2009, and always enjoyed fantastic holidays here. This year was no exception & the improvements that have been made have changed Casa Bonita from a lovely villa to a spectacular villa, already booked again for 2018.

Walking distance to local amenities, bars, restaurants. The area is great for all ages.

Fabulous family villa

Casa Bonita is a wonderful family villa. The fist thing that struck us was that it was even better than we thought, the pictures are really good, but they don't do it justice. The second thing that struck us was how clean and well maintained the property was. The landlord had also left a very generous welcome pack for us, which was greatly appreciated.

Inside, the villa is spacious and has been recently re-decorated, it's been done well, as if it was for a home to live in, not just to rent. The outside is a delight, not just the pool (which is terrific, I miss it!), but the outside kitchen (gas BBQ, fridge, sink - perfect!) and the various seating and lounging areas (somewhere for everyone, whatever mood!). My favourite bit though was the view, beautiful - great for watching the fireworks during the fiesta!

We loved it, we loved it so much we booked again for next year.....what more can I say? Oh except thank you Liz for sharing your wonderful villa that you clearly love.

Fabulous!

The photos dont do this villa justice. We enjoyed two marvellous weeks here and didnt really want to leave. There were only five adults which meant that there was plenty of room and space when needed as the villa is very airy and spacious. The living area and bedrooms are very comfortable and the three on suites are a bonus. However, the terraces and the pool areas are the star of this villa. The outside space is large and you have sun all day and into the evening. The pool, after having the sun all day is like a lovely warm bath. We even enjoyed a late night swim when it was very hot.

Service and communication with Liz the owner was fantastic from start to finish and the improvements made have only enhanced this lovely villa.

Thank you Liz for your lovely Villa, cant wait to return!
