About this property

This downtown Sandpoint gem is a light filled one bedroom 2 bath penthouse apartment ! The open plan between the fully stocked kitchen and living room is great for entertaining, with ample floor space and sleeper sofa for max occupancy. The comfortable living room includes a flat-panel smart TV and a charming freestanding gas fireplace. The unit is equipped with wi-fi Sonos and cable. There is also a full size washer/dryer !

Our location is ideal with Starbucks and the entrance to the City Beach right across the street, you are within walking distance to everything quant downtown Sandpoint has to offer! Stylebar a full service salon right downstairs and We Yoga Studio steps from the door. The Marina, all the downtown restaurants, live music, wine bars, and shopping including outdoor gear shops, a bike shop, and lots of gift and antiques shops. In the summer, enjoy Sandpoint's lively farmer's market just down the street with live music, local produce and crafts. Please note that the condo is right downtown, in the heart of everything, which is about as urban as Sandpoint gets! Our guests love the location for its convenience and access. The view of the lake and Cabinet Mountain Range is a lovely sight from this 2nd floor living space. Look North and see what is happening at Schweitzer before you head up for some fun on the hill! IF STAIRS ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS APARTMENT HAS 2 EXTERIOR FLIGHTS OF STEPS THAT ASCEND TO OUR ENTRY.

Sandpoint offers a free local bus, there's a stop about a block away from our apartment, and you can ride the SPOT bus to the Schweitzer base for a ride to the village, stores in Ponderay, and anywhere else you'd want to go around the Sandpoint area. You can also access bike and walking paths within a block or two of the front door.

And while we offer a great location to walk or bike from, you'll also enjoy off-street parking for your own vehicle giving you freedom to get up to Schweitzer or access more remote hiking areas or day-trip locations.

Great location, great host!

This property couldn’t be more centrally located- its right across the street from the bridge that leads to the city beach and next to restaurants & shops. The kitchen came stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, and everything was super clean and nice! It may not have a view of the lake, but it made up for it in convenience & cleanliness by far. So glad we stayed at Sarah’s place instead of an overpriced hotel and would love to come back!

Amazing Stress-free Getaway

The condo was impeccably maintained with high quality furnishings, very clean and was an overall beautiful property. Unbeatable location allowed for quick walk to the beach, dining, and many morning coffee options. Sarah was a very accommodating host offering dining and recreation ideas as well as very helpful with random requests or questions. 5 Stars! We can't wait to come back! - Andy & Carley

Great location in downtown Sandpoint!

Had a wonderful stay in the penthouse! Great places to eat/drink all within walking distance. Lots of fun shops to check out. City Beach is a short walk across the street and over the bridge. We watched an AWESOME fireworks display on the 4th right on the beach. We will be back soon!!

Great location in the heart of Sandpoint

Been coming to Sandpoint for over 30 years and this might just be our spot for the next 30. It's a prime location in the heart of downtown. A short 2 minute walk to the beach. The location is roomy, quite and well equipped. My only complaint would be the window blinds in the main area. If you're sleeping in the loft you better like to wake up early. The early morning sun cuts right through those blinds. The kitchen appliances all work great, laundry works great. TV , wifi, two full bathrooms, lake views from the master suite. Lots of great places to eat right out the door. What more could you want. The owner, Sarah, was great. She's super friendly and easily approachable with any issues. We will definitely be back!

Good Location in Sandpoint

Recently spent 3 nights here with my husband, son, and daughter in law. Liked that we had 2 bathrooms between the 4 of us. Beds were comfortable enough. We ate out every meal, so didn't use the kitchen except to cool bottles of water. The Internet was spotty at times, but we were just there for sleeping so no big deal. The access is by 2 flights of uncovered metal stairs outside. The weather was nice the time we were there, but could be an issue if raining or in the winter. Access to the loft was by a small ladder attached to the wall. So for an older person or someone with knee issues this would be an issue. The furnishings were adequate, nothing upscale. Enjoyed visiting our family who lives in the area.
