Apartment in Estepona, Near Marina, Costa Del Sol, Spain - 500m from Marina and Restaurants. Great for Cyclists (Vuelta de Espania 8th Stage 2013)

Second floor served by a lift which is accessible from both street and car park levels. It is fully air-conditioned and has two terraces with views down to Estepona and the sea, perfect for alfresco dining at any time of the day. A 10 minute stroll (we are only 500m from the marina) will take you to the beautiful marina with its choice of excellent restaurants offering very affordable local and international cuisine. There are 2 local Tapas bars directly opposite. The apartment is comfortably laid out and furnished with sofas TV (including some satellite channels showing programmes in English) and a 6 person dining table in the lounge/dining area. The master bedroom has its own en-suite, a double bed and spacious built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom has twin single beds, built in wardrobe space and chest of drawers. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin single beds and a chest of drawers. All bedrooms have bedside cabinets with reading lamps. The twin bedrooms share the main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, teapot, iron ironing board and clothes airer. There is sufficient crockery, utensils, cooking facilities and glasses to accommodate 6 people comfortably. The front balcony has a table and 6 chairs. The apartment has its own secure underground parking spot with remote control access. The public areas are well maintained and cleaned every day. Estepona hosted the Finale to the 8th stage of the Vuelta de Espania and with the town lying at the base of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range keen cyclists will find some cracking routes ! Their is also a safe and extensive cycle route through the main areas of the Town.

I just wanted to thank you for the possibility of renting your apartment in Estepona. Both us and the kids were very happy with the space and comfort it offers. Also, the local guy with the keys was very nice to us, very positive.

What a lovely apartment and what a truly lovely town Estepona is, it has charming old town yet buzzing with Spanish people.

Estopona itself is much larger than we expected and although the apartment itself was only 5-10 min walk from the centre there were many different ways to walk and things to see on the way so it was anything but boring. Loads of wonderful eating places and mainly very authentic.

Great holiday!

Just returned for 9 days in Estapona. Fantastic weather, resort, restaurants and amenities on the doorstep. We all loved the apartment, the air-con was much needed and made the apartment cool and pleasant in the evenings. The apartment was much bigger than we thought it would be and it was great to have a proper separate kitchen with dish washer, washing machine, coffee machine and large fridge/ freezer which meant that we could breakfast on the balcony in the mornings.

The whole apartment is very well appointed and had everything you could want on a holiday. The standard of cleanliness was excellent which is often lacking in other apartments we've used.

The location was perfect, close to a Lidl for provisions, a 5/10 min walk to the port and it's restaurants in the evenings, a market outside the apartments every Wednesday and quiet in the evenings.

We would definitely recommend the apartment and location to friends.

P? We also had a fabulous day out to Ronda which we loved! 😃

Over the last four years our golfing holiday has been based in and around Estepona

Each year we have stayed in this apartment,which I think speaks volumes for itself. The apartment is very clean and is ideally located, in my opinion. My party of 4 chose to eat out each evening and there are numerous restaurants along the waterfront. It is a 15 minute stroll downhill to the harbour and restaurants. Probably 20 minutes on the return journey due to the food and drink consumption over the evening and the fact that it is uphill.

Look forward to renting again next year as soon as the golf courses have been booked.

The apartment is clean, spacious and well equippe

I really enjoyed my recent stay in Estepona. It is a short walk from the apartment to the Marina with many and varied restaurants along its length. A visit to the old town is a must with narrow, cobbled streets leading to a central square. Flower pots adorn the houses lining the streets with each street’s pots having its’ own colour scheme. As with the Marina there are a number of restaurants in the old town and a visit to the Argentinian steak house is recommended where I enjoyed the biggest T-bone steak of my life.

The main purpose of my holiday was to play golf and there are some fantastic golf courses in the vicinity with stunning views down to the Mediterranean. I particularly enjoyed the Dona Julia golf course.

All in all a great weeks holiday.

Excellent apartment.

The pictures don't do the apartment justice. Very spacious, we have just got back from 2 weeks in July with 4 teenagers but had plenty of room and space. The 2 bathrooms make life easy, especially at going out/getting ready time. The town isn't on the doorstep, about a 10/15 minute walk which suited us as we hade the quiet when needed or the busy town when we wanted that. The town is beautiful and still very spanish, unlike others in the area. Would recommend to anyone wanting either a relax or busy holiday. The pool is larger than it looks, deep and good if you like a proper swim. Well equipped if you enjoy cooking the local food, the marina is a 10 min stroll and the restaurants excellent. Would go back without hesitation.

We were looking for somewhere in Spain and fell in love with Estepona which has retained its very Spanish feel in the old town.

Activity and Interests

Estepona has 2 really lovely beaches with La Rada (see photograph) being 2km long and fronting the main town and the Playa Cristo Cove being just a 5 mins stroll from the Marina. Both beaches are a mere 10 mins walk away being found off the Marina area. Estepona is a real working Spanish town and the working harbour is a hive of activity all year round as the fisherman bring in their catch.


Estepona is very convenient to travel to being served by Malaga airport (approx 55km) and Gibraltar airport (approx 30km). The new toll road will take less than an hour from Malaga airport. Car hire is reasonable and we can let you know of car hire companies we have used successfully, or if you prefer we can organise transportation from and to the airport.


Gibraltar 30km. Ronda 100km. Marbella and Puerto Banus 17km.

Further Details:

There is so much to do in and around Estepona: Selwo Safari Park, boat and fishing trips from the Marina, scuba diving at a PADI approved school,golfing, great eating out and bars, trips to the Rhonda, Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Above all the town itself has retained much of its Pueblo charm and yet has modern and affordable facilities, shops and restaurants. Many of these are located in buildings built in the 1800's. On the whole high rise developments, i.e. those above 5 stories are not permitted for development in Estepona so there is a more authentic and sustainable feel to the town. Why base your holiday in sterile out of town developments that do not afford all these benefits?
