Town House in Kato Paphos, Cyprus - 10 Minutes Walk To Bars, Restaurants And Shops
Two bedroom townhouse conveniently situated in a quiet residential area in Kato Paphos within walking distance of shops, bars/restaurants, the old town and all the tourist facilities around the Harbour. The house is in a block of just 4 townhouses minutes from local supermarkets. The house has been fully equipped to a high standard to cater for all your holiday needs. There is a large lounge area with matching two and three seater sofas, (one providing an additional double bed) coffee table, TV with expat TV box, DVD as well as CD/Radio player and a selection of board games. The dining area contains a solid pine dining table with 6 chairs. The kitchen has all the required electrical items including washing machine, hob/oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also an iron and ironing board, airer and pegs. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities together with balconies.

About the Owner
We are a family from Lincolnshire, with 2 girls who just love to get in their swimming costumes as soon as they can and spend most of the day in the pool! As a family we enjoy historical places, beaches and eating out. Paphos has all of these and you don't even need to hire a car to do them all. In the past, we've always liked to travel to different places, but we love going to Paphos, it's a definite chill out for us. Even though we rent the house out, it's still 'our home'. We have family photos out, we have DVDs, toys, etc and really do try and think about what people might want from a holiday home-we've had no complaints so far! We love to hear feedback from our guests and nothing pleases us more than when they've enjoyed the house as much as we do.

Exactly what we were promised on the website!
We got exactly what we were promised with this property. A good location for both the old town and the sea front, with a very useful supermarket/fruit and veg shop only 5 minutes away. The house was well equipped with everything in good working order and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The pool was excellent though we were probably lucky that we had it to ourselves as the other two properties were unoccupied. We had our two teenagers with us but I'm sure it would also suit those with younger children. We survived two weeks there without a car with no problem due to the shop being so close. Our taxi driver from the airport hadn't a clue where the street was so it would be advisable to have the directions supplied by the owners with you. The owners have been very pleasant to deal with from the first enquiry and a drawer in the house was packed with maps, leaflets and guides to local features and a book full of comments from previous hirers with tips and recommendations on things to do and places to eat. All in all a great place to stay and good value for money.

Great Holiday Villa in quiet Location location
This is the second time My wife and I with two friends have visited the Kempster's Villa in Paphos.
It is situated in a very quiet part of Paphos but is still within a 20 minute walk of the main restaurants in the harbour and along the Kings tomb Avenue. It is possible to holiday without a car as buses are frequent and reasonably cheap. However, to visit Polis and the Troodos mountains a car is required and is recommended. The house itself is fantastic for a holiday home, Two bedrooms with both onsuite, which is a boon when going away with friends, air conditioning throughout which is vital on those days when Cyprus dishes up a really sweltering day. The house was presented immaculately and the pool out the back (shared between 3 Houses) (The other properties were empty when we were there) was lovely if a little cool in early May. The Kempsters have provided loads of info on the surrounding area and copious maps for getting around. I would recommend to all and will definitely be returning when Cyprus next comes up on my destination list. Restaurants to recommend include Flambe Masters (Our Favourite) along the Tomb of the Kings Avenue, Les Amis and Muse for a breathtaking view over the whole of Paphos.

Fabulous Holiday Home
This was our fifth stay in this house and as always when we arrived it was very clean and well presented. We always hire a car because we dive whenever we come to Cyprus and have too much kit to carry on the bus, but the house is ideally placed for walking to the harbour in the evenings or catching a bus to Coral Bay or any other areas around Paphos. Set in a quiet residential location away from main roads and loud nightclubs etc, this it is the perfect place to relax, with a pool shared only with two other houses. It is great to have a private patio with BBQ, as the food from the local supermarkets only a short walk away is excellent and unlike the UK it is nearly always BBQ weather in Cyprus.
The whole booking process is really easy and Neil and Wendy are very friendly and accommodating wherever possible with flexible changeover days and later checkouts available if future bookings permit. The management company are also very helpful with any problems being rectified pretty quickly.
For us this really is a great place to spend a relaxing time in Cyprus and we will definitely be coming back here in 2014.
The house was exactly as described on the website. A great location between the market area and harbour. Close to bus stop. By foot both the market and harbour were 15-20 minutes away.
The house was clean and when something broke it was replaced quickly without any fuss.
The swimming pool is a must in the Summer and it was regularly cleaned during our 2 week stay.
Supermarket, fruit market and great bakery very close by.
Situated in a residential area the house was quiet which is just what we wanted.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place away from the tourist area but close enough to access by foot when required.

“We never thought we'd be ones for going back to the same place over and over, but we find it a good place to chill. Everything is nearby so you don't have to hire a car. Bar Street is only a 15 min walk, just enough to walk off your meal! There's plenty to do and see and we are equidistant from the harbour and the old town, so plenty of choice. There's always bus routes nearby if you want to go further afield.”
Activity and Interests
Paphos has a few beaches of its own with the renowned Coral Bay beaches within easy reach by car or local buses.
Paphos Airport is only 15-20 minutes drive from the property. Car hire can be arranged if required although most of the facilities in Paphos are within walking distance and hence it is not essential. Taxi transfers can also be arranged (Approx 30-35 Euros) if required.

There is a local fruitmarket within 5 minutes walk of the house that is open 7 days a week which also stocks all the basic provisions you will need. There is a brand new shopping mall within 15 minutes walk together with a variety of other shops including bars and restaurants.
Paphos and its surrounding area enjoys a wealth of activities/facilities to suit a wide variety of different tastes many within walking distance of the house and the rest easily reached by car or local buses.
The harbour is within easy walking distance providing opportunity to relax by the waterside or visit the ancient fort. The adjacent tourist area provides more than enough variety of bars and restaurants to cater for the most diverse range of tastes.
The old town can also be reached by foot with its narrow streets full of interesting shops.
The main archaeological site in Paphos is found adjacent to the harbour, well worth a visit spending time around the numerous mosaics and ampitheatre. The Tombs of the Kings are a short distance away and provide another fascinating insight into ancient Greece.
There is also a water park on the edge of the town as well as a Bird park within close proximity.
The surrounding area around Paphos provides a number of interesting day trips for the more adventurous with other archaeological sites worthy of a visit or the Troodos mountains providing a stunning alternative to the beaches. In the winter months you can even Ski in the mountains.

“One thing we like is that depending on the other properties, if the timing is right you can have the pool all to yourself. We all have our own sunbeds, so no fighting to put your towels out! You don't have to lock the house and take all your clobber with you as the pool's by the back door. It's great that the house has 2 bathrooms and lots of areas to sit, couples have found it good as they can have their own space and we benefit now our girls are teenagers! We have Wi-Fi included as well as English TV which gives you catch up soaps going back a whole year! The local fruit market and bakery are only minutes away and ideal if you don't want a car, they're open long hours and handy if you decide to have a barbecue. We like the fact that we can be in the house less than an hour after landing at the airport.”

- Notes on accommodation: The house has got air conditioning throughout which double as heating units for the rare occasions they are required in the winter months. This is our family's holiday home and hence has been geared up to cater for family holidays. Pool towels are provided along with a selection of pool toys. If you require the hire of baby equipment (cots/high chairs/car seats etc) this can be arranged via our managing agents. Outside: The swimming pool is shared with just 2 other houses, has a deep and shallow end with ample room for using the sun loungers that are provided with the house. The property has the added benefit of a roof terrace accessible via a staircase, complete with a couple of sunbeds and plenty of room for sunbathing. There is also a private patio area complete with table and chairs (and parasol) for alfresco dining together with a BBQ for those long summer evenings. We provide beach towels, a couple of beach mats, a beach parasol, car sunscreen and cool box so that as a family you can enjoy the beach and not worry about the extra expense of sunbeds and food/drinks. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival and following your departure. Additional maid service can be arranged if required. All bed linen and towels are provided including beach towels. Other: For the 2016 season, we have had WiFi & a new TV, the exterior has also been painted.
