This superb holiday villa (sleeping 6) with pool, is beautifully furnished with marble floors throughout. It has stunning panoramic sea and mountain views and is situated within a short walk of both Moraira and the sandy cove of El Portet, in our view, the nicest spot on the Costa Blanca. It is an hour's drive form both Alicante and Valencia Airports. Javea and Denia are close by. Several tennis courts and golf courses are within easy reach.

About Alex & Chloe Wilson

Chloe and Alex Wilson have recently taken over the running of this family holiday home over from their father (in law), Ted who has let it for more than a decade. We have loved coming to the villa since before we had our 2 children and then ever since the children were tiny. They are now 8 and 10 and love the sea, snorkelling and tennis.

Why Alex & Chloe Wilson chose Moraira

The villa is at the top of a hill with a great view of the sea and the Penon de Ifach rock in the distance. It is quiet but a stroll away from the al fresco restaurants and bars of Moraira and our personal favourite, the cove of El Portet, which has turquoise waters, and a Blue Flag sandy beach.

What makes this villa unique

The climate is an all year round antidote to life in Northern Europe. We come here whenever we can in school holidays.

Outside: The villa is surrounded by a small garden with palm trees, jacaranda and bougainvillea. There is a large paved terrace with an 8m kidney shaped pool. There is a wide shaded verandah between the house and terrace. Sun loungers, garden chairs and table are provided. A barbeque is also provided. The terrace and pool are not overlooked. Utility Room: Washing machine, sink and cleaning utensils. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. The villa is cleaned on entry and exit and bathrooms cleaned every week (on requested). Cot (without linen) may be requested.

Great holiday escape away from the crowds

We love Moraira and have been coming for years. The villa is close enough to town and the beaches to be very convenient (walkable) but is far enough to be completely secluded. Views to die for and very well appointed and tastefully decorated house

Well established beautiful villa

The second visit to this wonderful villa. The villa is very well equipped and very spacious. It lies very near the beautiful village of Moriara. The three bedrooms are ample with plenty of wardrobe space, good kitchen and spacious lounge and dinning room area. There is air conditioning and a fan in the bedrooms and a portable large fan in the lounge. The kitchen has a new self cleaning oven and ceramic hob great fridge and freezer and top notch dishwasher along with all the utensils you will need for self catering. The utility room has an ample washing machine if required and drying facilities outside line. If you cook at home on your holiday then all is well. Plenty of supermarkets within a few minutes and the beach and village of Moriara just five minutes away by car or ten minutes to El Portet. There is enough parking for two cars and a car is really an essential, but taxi if you want to pay for them are plentiful. This is a great Villa to stay in with wonderful views down to Calpe and a beautiful mountain range in the distance. This is a secure and lovely property with good service for cleaning and laundry. First class.

Beautiful villa in a quiet residential area

Firstly, and most importantly, the description provided in Owners Direct is accurate. It is a wonderful villa to rent, the owners give a first class service on information and contact options should you require them. The property was very clean and very well maintained. My wife and I had a wonderful restful holiday at villa Esperanza which is very well equipped for a full family vacation. Although you are in fairly close proximity to other villas there is more than adequate privacy with superb parking as you really need to have a car for getting around.There is little noise if any from street traffic because of the location which has a wonderful view of the mountains over the valley towards Calpe. It is less than 10 minutes into the lovely village of Moraira which has a big car park free of charge. On a Friday, there is a large market set up in the car park but there is alternative parking at the beach on the Calpe road with around a 300 mtr walk to reach the market. Plenty of restaurants in the village with a wide variety of choice on offer. We have been visiting Moraira for a number of years and have exhausted most of the eating out places in the immediate area and we do not like to suggest specific restaurants simply because we all have different ideas as to what is good! There is an exception to this, and for lunch, we would recommend "Casa Toni" on the left hand side of the road heading towards Calpe and only 10 minutes from the villa, wonderful quality and very inexpensive as modern day prices go. Simply explore the area and find out for yourselves there is plenty of amenities on offer and if you do not want to explore too far, there is a superb little beach in Moraira where you can picnic if you have the children, or venture over to Denia on a weekday to an almost deserted beautiful 4k beach for a walk. We now cook most of the time, and the villa has a great kitchen with plenty of utensils even for the aspiring chef, a large area for sunbathing if you do not wish to venture out, and plenty of guides and documents on the area that you are living in. You will struggle to find a better setting in the Moraira area than this villa.Have meals just outside the french doors which lead from the inside dining room. We have contacted the owners and will return to this villa as long as we visit this area. I have rated this place as a 5 star rental with great ease. There can always be improvements of course but this villa needs very little

Lovely villa and great location and beautiful views

We have stayed in a lot of villas in Spain over the last few years but this one had an especially lovely feel to it. It is in a good location near to a wonderful beach which is ideal for children as it is sandy and the sea is very shallow for a long way out. Beautiful turquoise waters. There were six of us altogether including two children who had a wonderful time. The views of the mountains from the terrace are fabulous . I also liked the fact that the pool was close to the villa so we could always see the children. There is also a lovely place to visit called altera. It has cobbled streets and lovely restaurants and shops - very pretty.

The owner is extremely helpful and sorted out a new dishwasher and fridge within 24 hours!

We would all love to return again and hopefully will.

Charming villa - charming town.

With hindsight it seems our choice of Villa and location were totally vindicated.

We prefer a villa in a quiet area but close to beach and evening 'jollies'.....this is that villa.

All surrounding resorts should be on your 'to do' list, with Moraira at the top.

Härligt hus på en vacker plats!

Kan verkligen rekommendera både huset och Moraira för en härlig semester! Huset är fint och gediget byggt. Ligger högt och fritt, med utsikt över det vackra, bergiga landskapet. Huset har ett ogenerat läge på en lugn otrafikerad gata. AC i sovrummen, vilket var underbart! Välutrustat kök som har allt du behöver för att kunna laga all mat. Rent och fräscht!

Det här var vår första resa till Moraira, och det är verkligen en underbar liten ort! Inga vräkiga hotell, inga strandförsäljare, bra restauranger, roliga små butiker. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till både detta hus och till Moraira!

Coast/Beach:

El Portet, one of the loveliest sandy coves on this coast with safe bathing and no hotels is 15 minutes walk (downhill) from the villa. Moraira beach is also sandy and somewhat broader and flanked by a garden of shady palm trees. There is plenty of sailing and windsurfing in Moraira. The 20 km or coast to the North also has many beaches including Granadella - a favourite for diving.

Travel:

Alicante Airport is 90km to the South and Valencia 110km to the north - both about one hour travel time, mostly by motorway. Both have frequent flights with major airlines, budget and charter flights. Car hire pick-up and drop-off at the airport easily arranged.

Distances:

Moraira is a fishing village that has grown into a resort without the usual line of multi-story hotels. It has a beautifully maintained marina and a sandy beach. There are many restaurants with a variety of cuisines and several places for young people to dance. The resort has a good selection of shops hairdressers, banks, and supermarkets. There are water sports, boat, kayak hire, tennis courts and further afield golf and horse riding are available.
