This property enjoys a good location in the upmarket development of Alta Vista. This proper house is in the Town of Calete and does not suffer from being way out of town, like so many. The townhouse itself is 3 bed, 2 bath, and 3 terrace.

This is a large and proper house - a home from home - very spacious with separate kitchen and utility (2 sinks) with dishwasher and wash machine. There is also a private sun terrace off the master bedroom.

The master bed is also served by its own en suite toilet with bath and shower. Sleeps 6 easily. The three sun terraces include a private balcony with stunning views across Calete de Fuste bay.

The tiled and secluded rear terraces catches the sun all day and includes Canarian BBQ for alfresco dinning. There is a Hot Tub (Jacuzzi) option, which is totally secluded and ideal for star gazing at night.

The property has the use of the Bahia Sol complex Swimming pool in Town with child safety fence and sunbeds. The property also has use of the Castillo Mar pool complex in Town with child safety fence and sunbeds. You have a key for both.

The lounge has a 36 inch flat screen TV with UK TV (BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 1, ITV 2, C4, C5). There is also Satellite TV with 24 hour film, music and Children's TV. There is a PS2 games console with games and X-BOX 360. There is wireless internet (WiFi) with strong signal and 4mb speed fast by island standards).

The master bedroom includes spacious en-suite with bath and its own private ocean view terrace. Large fully tiled secluded rear terrace (40m2). Bed rooms 2 and 3 are both twin rooms. A cot and high chair i available for infants.

A short 5 minute drive from the championship Fuerteventura Golf Club. A good location in Calete de Fust Town.

Thanks for use of your house. I called it a flat in my e mails but it is a huge house. Far bigger than the pictures seem to show. We loved the three terraces and the sea views. We have a four and two year old boy and girl and they were able to run around freely and safely in the completely secure and private terraces. We even pulled down the sun canopy to protect them while we lay in the sun. Really enjoyed it. Nice big Kitchen made a real difference. Cheers, Fin and Joy, Sept 20012.

We will never book a package holiday again. Your villa is a home form home. We particularly loved your fabulous sun terraces and roof solariums - we got direct sunlight from 8.00am through to sun down - very private which was nice. Wonderful relaxing stay at Iain's property in Sept

Very good location, admittedly away from the centre of Caleta, but with bars and shops within walking distance. And what a view from the upper terrace. Neat little secure courtyard to enter through, with the bonus of a hot-tub, which was great for me after a run - I had the pool guy turn down the heat - and a fantastic sunny terrace, very private and a real sun trap. Loved the rear extension off the kitchen area which was great to sit in at night, but also the sliding doors opening up the living area completely. Kitchen fitted with everything you could need. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Plus Iain made the booking process easy without any snags or complications, and Sue booked an airport transfer at great value.

Home from home!

Wonderfully spacious villa within easy reach of numerous restaurants & bars located in a quiet residential area.

Very comfortable & clean, exactly as described. 3 very private sun terraces with plenty of sun beds & chairs. Lots of supplied towels!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing fortnight here & would definitely return.

Highly recommend this villa & this owner. Thank you.

Lovely house fo a relaxing stay!

The house was great, we really enjoyed it, it had everything we could have possibly wanted and in a quiet location, perfect for relaxing! The views from upstairs were amazing and the kids loved the hot tub and my husband the BBQ! British TV and reliable wi-fi. We had use of 2 pools, which were around a 10/15min walk away, near to a lovely bakery that had delicious bread and cakes.

Very impressive; excellent.

We enjoyed this house. It gave us the private spaces we sought and caught the sun all day on the various terraces of the house. We liked both the indoor and outdoor lounge. The outdoor lounge was just lovely at night with really nice lighting and it really complemented the jacuzzi tub and bbq. The rooms were very well presented and the internet very reliable (this is usually a real pain on holidays but not this time). It was nice also to be able to watch the Olympics on the BBC! I think the master bedroom with the large balcony with views to die for is worthy of booking just for this reason. We liked the location and loved the El-Perro bar and pizza hut just along the road. We give this house 10 out of 10 on value and function. Meant to say, thanks to the agent Sue who was just great in helping us find our way around. We'll be back! Cheers, Kenneth and family

Wonderful value place in the sun

Just a short note Ian to thank you for use of your lovely villa. It was so peaceful and spacious. You have thoughtof everything and we just loved the outside chilling lounge and the hot tub and barbeque area. It was a pleasure waking up each morning to the amazing sea views and we sat on your upstairs terrace for breakfast every morning. We ate lunch on your lovely down stairs terrace and drank bubbly on your rear terrace and in your jacuzzi by night. It was great. Lovely to stay in such a well loved house that has everything. Hope to visit again. Peter & Rebecca and family.

Perfect relaxing holiday house

Thank you for allowing us use of your beautiful house Dr Cameron. It was everything we had hoped for. Clean and tidy and totally relaxing. If you are reading as a customer do not hesitate to book. The house is so much better than the advert. The balcony of the master bed is stunning. The hot tub of the second bedroom is not to shabby either. Really great experience and wonderful value. From the Owner

I had travelled a lot in the Canaries. Done many golf holidays in Tenerife and guys holidays in Gran Canaria and family holidays in Lanzarote. I reluctantly booked a package holiday to Fuerteventura one year thinking it this was the poor man's Canary Island. How wrong could I have been. It was simply stunning. I had never seem beaches in Europe this good. The low rise building were colourful and looked Andalusian in design (none of that boring white stuff with blue windows or tall tower blocks). The property prices seemed to be about 25% cheaper than the other Canary islands and yet the island was 125% more beautiful. Fuerteventura to me means that once you visit it, you will never go back to Lanzarote or Gran Canaria etc.

Coast/Beach. Zoo & Waterpark. Golf

The golden sandy beach is located within walking distance, or by the kids 'noddy' train, and it is very safe for swimming making it ideal for all the family. In Calete you will find two good par 70 golf courses with very good twilight rates for occasional holiday golf. There is a set of clubs in the house for your use included in rate. The famous endless beaches of Sotavento and Jandia are 40 mins drive away but well worth a visit. Here you will also find Oasis Park - Zoo, Aquarium, Botanical gardens. To the north, 40 mins will bring you to the white sand dunes and beaches near Corralejo. Here you will find the Baku waterpark.


The house is only 10 euros in a taxi from the airport (10 min drive).


The house is adjacent to the Castillo beach club. There is a short walk - say 10 to 15 mins - to the Bahia Sol complex pool, which you have a key for. There is a short walk to the Castillo Ma pool complex, where you also have a key. There is a great Pizza parlour with local spanish style wine bar only about 300 metres away - literally at the end of the road - it has great ocean views and is warm and friendly. The house is a further 5 minute walk to the Montecastillo centre (where you will find restaurants and bars), and then only a further 5 minute approximate walk to the heart of town and the main street. This house is NOT at the peak of Chipmunk Hill. A good location in Calete de Fust Town.

Further Details:

The house is within easy reach distance of the beach and the bars and shops. It is only a three euros taxi ride to the Atlantico Centre where you will find a large cheap supermarket (Spar) and a range of great shops, 10-pin bowling, and a multi screen English Cinema. The large out of town value supermarket of Mercadona is also within low-cost reach by taxi.

Further, Calete de Fuste is in the centre of the island and is perfectly located for exploring the rest of the island. For example, you can reach the Baku water park in the north at Corralejo in about 35 minutes. For example, you can reach the La Lajita Zoo in the south of the island at Cost Calm in about 35 minutes.

Location. Location. Location and Value for Money. This property is in a great location close to everything you need. Car hire is not essential. That is, we are not stuck way out of town pretending to be in the town. The property is fantastic value for money having a great USP of amazing views and lots of inside and outside space. This is coupled with great Wifi and real proper British TV (BBC, ITV etc). This coupled with modern furnishings, make this a great holiday choice. The many reviews prove this to be the case going back over a long number of years. In truth, pound for pound for pound, there is no better value. It blows away most properties. It's downside is that there is not a communal pool on site - sorry. Although, I have negotiated access to two complexes in town. In truth, this is largely irrelevant in winter anyways as communal pools are too cold to go in to (anywhere) and is easily overcome in summer, as described. You are better choosing the hot tub option for that wee bit of luxury. The wifi is fast and strong and will be ideal if you need to catch up on work or stream video. The real BBC / ITV etc TV helps parents - it is genuine - watch out for the trick of properties quoting English TV only for you to find out that is English but is actually no English channels that you have ever heard of. I have loads of reviews and a 14 year track record, as evidenced by c520 - one of the original Owners Direct numbers.

It is 40m2 in size. There is a pergola with comfortable lounge seating in the shade. There is an outside cool shower. There are back reclining sun loungers. There is a table and chairs for alfresco dinning. The front terrace is also large and front facing with (optional) Hot Tub and BBQ. The private balcony off the master bedroom is south facing with spectacular views across Calete de Fuste bay.
