This property enjoys a good location in the upmarket development of Alta Vista. This proper house is in the Town of Calete and does not suffer from being way out of town, like so many. The townhouse itself is 3 bed, 2 bath, and 3 terrace.

This is a large and proper house - a home from home - very spacious with separate kitchen and utility (2 sinks) with dishwasher and wash machine. There is also a private sun terrace off the master bedroom.

The master bed is also served by its own en suite toilet with bath and shower. Sleeps 6 easily. The three sun terraces include a private balcony with stunning views across Calete de Fuste bay.

The tiled and secluded rear terraces catches the sun all day and includes Canarian BBQ for alfresco dinning. There is a Hot Tub (Jacuzzi) option, which is totally secluded and ideal for star gazing at night.

The property has the use of the Bahia Sol complex Swimming pool in Town with child safety fence and sunbeds. The property also has use of the Castillo Mar pool complex in Town with child safety fence and sunbeds. You have a key for both.

The lounge has a 36 inch flat screen TV with UK TV (BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 1, ITV 2, C4, C5). There is also Satellite TV with 24 hour film, music and Children's TV. There is a PS2 games console with games and X-BOX 360. There is wireless internet (WiFi) with strong signal and 4mb speed fast by island standards).

The master bedroom includes spacious en-suite with bath and its own private ocean view terrace. Large fully tiled secluded rear terrace (40m2). Bed rooms 2 and 3 are both twin rooms. A cot and high chair i available for infants.

A short 5 minute drive from the championship Fuerteventura Golf Club. A good location in Calete de Fust Town.

Why Dr Iain Cameron chose Antigua

I had travelled a lot in the Canaries. Done many golf holidays in Tenerife and guys holidays in Gran Canaria and family holidays in Lanzarote.

I reluctantly booked a package holiday to Fuerteventura one year thinking it this was the poor man's Canary Island. How wrong could I have been.

It was simply stunning. I had never seem beaches in Europe this good. The low rise building were colourful and looked Andalusian in design (none of that boring white stuff with blue windows or tall tower blocks).

The property prices seemed to be about 25% cheaper than the other Canary islands and yet the island was 125% more beautiful.

Fuerteventura to me means that once you visit it, you will never go back to Lanzarote or Gran Canaria etc.

What makes this house unique

Location. Location. Location and Value for Money.

This property is in a great location close to everything you need. Car hire is not essential. That is, we are not stuck way out of town pretending to be in the town. The property is fantastic value for money having a great USP of amazing views and lots of inside and outside space. This is coupled with great Wifi and real proper British TV (BBC, ITV etc). This coupled with modern furnishings, make this a great holiday choice. The many reviews prove this to be the case going back over a long number of years.

In truth, pound for pound for pound, there is no better value. It blows away most properties. It's downside is that there is not a communal pool on site - sorry. Although, I have negotiated access to two complexes in town. In truth, this is largely irrelevant in winter anyways as communal pools are too cold to go in to (anywhere) and is easily overcome in summer, as described.

You are better choosing the hot tub option for that wee bit of luxury. The wifi is fast and strong and will be ideal if you need to catch up on work or stream video. The real BBC / ITV etc TV helps parents - it is genuine - watch out for the trick of properties quoting English TV only for you to find out that is English but is actually no English channels that you have ever heard of. I have loads of reviews and a 14 year track record, as evidenced by c520 - one of the original Owners Direct numbers.

Thanks for use of your house. I called it a flat in my e mails but it is a huge house. Far bigger than the pictures seem to show. We loved the three terraces and the sea views. We have a four and two year old boy and girl and they were able to run around freely and safely in the completely secure and private terraces. We even pulled down the sun canopy to protect them while we lay in the sun. Really enjoyed it. Nice big Kitchen made a real difference. Cheers, Fin and Joy, Sept 20012.

We will never book a package holiday again. Your villa is a home form home. We particularly loved your fabulous sun terraces and roof solariums - we got direct sunlight from 8.00am through to sun down - very private which was nice. Find me on Google Earth: 28°24'0.88"N, 13°52'17.58"W Outside Living: The main terrace is accessed from double patio doors off the living room. The terrace is south facing and totally secluded. It is 40m2 in size. There is a pergola with comfortable lounge seating in the shade. There is an outside cool shower. There are back reclining sun loungers. There is a table and chairs for alfresco dinning. The front terrace is also large and front facing with (optional) Hot Tub and BBQ. The private balcony off the master bedroom is south facing with spectacular views across Calete de Fuste bay. Utility Room; Electric Equipment; Safe; Infant items: Washing machine and dishwasher, sink, clothes horse, iron and board, hair dryer, cot, highchair, baby bath seat, bouncy chair, micro steriliser for bottles etc. No charge for infant items - free. There is a safe. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Agent Help: There is a meet and greet and contact number with a 24/7 English agents . Fans; There are cooling fans for the summer and heater in the rare event that you might need this in the winter. Remember, Fuerteventura's temperate year round climate make air-con or heating largely redundant - it's not Turkey ! There is always a breeze and temperatures always drop at night.

Superb and splendid!!!

Hi Iain,

From the moment we had first glance at your property online, we were pretty sure of our decision.

Arrived to a nice, warm, spacious and clean house;nothing could have been more perfect!

The house is in a very good location, quiet and spaced out neighbourhood away from the crowd and noise.

It’s very close to the airport and quite central to the other main attractions.

Facilities and utilities in the property are perfect for a party of 6!

One week went by very quickly (would like to come back for 2 weeks next time!) but we had a great time!

Luxury villa at great low price

Thanx for use of villa. It was fab. Brill jacuzzi. Brill BBQ. Brill sun terraces. Loads of space. Loads of great views. All mod cons. Brill internet and tele. Loads of space. Brill location. Clean and bright. Brill lounges. Mega private. Really easy to reserve and work with owner and house-keeper. My wee Mum loved it and so did I. Brill value for money. Must say thought Loco bar at end off street was fab cos it had fab food n drink at great prices and were great hosts. Well pleased. Rose, Ronnie n Mum

Amazing value sun drenched villa in top location!

We had booked with Dr Cameron before at his Corralejo property so trusting him, we thought we would try his Calete house. It was amazing. A great townhouse with everything you could need. We loved the location close to bars and shops and found the house to be really large and well laid out. We have been disappointed in the past with many Calete villas being much too far up the chipmunk hill but not this one, an ideal location close to shop and a entertainment centre which made choices at night very simple.

The jacuzzi hot tub was great at night and very private. The main front terrace was lovely. There is a gorgeous outside lounge with comfortable furniture which is just lovely for sipping bubbly at night and eating from the BBQ. I think though the large upstairs solarium off the master bedroom is the house best feature. It has bountiful ocean views and waking up to this every morning is just so relaxing. We will come back here and I have to say this house is one of the most private and sun drenched we have booked. It is great value.

Lovely property but not as expected

We have just returned from 6 nights in this house, when booking Iain was extremely helpful giving us more than enough information, accommodating to our dates, and making us feel very welcome so thanks!!

Overall the house is very homely and would suit a large group or family perfectly, however, we had a few issues such as the water being cut off for a couple of hours each morning due to building work which had apparently had been going on for some time, which made getting organised to go out a problem. It wouldn't of been an issue if we had been made aware of it and could plan our time out around it. Also, the safe was not working - we did contact Sue about this who tried to fix it but couldn't get a locksmith until after we had left. There was no XBOX just a Playstation but we were disappointed by this as it is in the title of the house advertisement. The TV in the second bedroom started smoking whilst in use one night, after this we noticed there is a fitting for a smoke alarm at the top of the stairs but there is no smoke alarm in it! Luckily nothing major happened but this could have been a lot worse if there was children!

Working in the hospitality industry for a holiday company ourselves, we understand the pressures of cleaning accommodation for customers. We felt like the kitchen could have done with a wipe over again, lots of stuff in the cupboards which look like haven't been cleaned in quite a while, quite a lot of clutter which didn't seem necessary. We did appreciate the bits of food and condiments that Sue left for us from the previous guests. We were provided with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each.

Hot tub was a lovely addition which we used most nights however during the day it has no sun as it is in the front garden which didn't realise when booking.

Sue tried to sort out a few problems/questions but we feel like she didn't fully know herself the information we needed (e.g. where the pools were that we were allowed to use/how to work the hot tub/safe).

Don't get me wrong it is a lovely house and the price we payed was good value for money but we feel like the description of the house needs to be more accurate (no xbox/sun very limited/given the wrong wifi code/wifi not great/house location up the hill - not ideal for people that can't walk very far) and a declutter/deep clean in the kitchen!

It is 3euro for a taxi to the town, definitely recommend this for going back!

With some love & TLC this home could be perfect!

There is an XBOX but had been taken by my house round the corner and ought to have been put back and is now. The file sent is clear on pools - Bahia Sol and Castile Mar. The house gets sun all day. Morning to mid afternoon in front terrace and rear afternoon to night fall at back. I guess weather was dull on your week. The hot tub is uder a canopy as per pictures as it is not normal to put it in a sunny spot. Aplogies for the emergency repair to a leaking water pipe but this was not known to me. Lastly, thanks for enjoying one of the best value and best equipped houses in Calete. Iain

Wonderful relaxing stay at Iain's property in Sept

Very good location, admittedly away from the centre of Caleta, but with bars and shops within walking distance. And what a view from the upper terrace. Neat little secure courtyard to enter through, with the bonus of a hot-tub, which was great for me after a run - I had the pool guy turn down the heat - and a fantastic sunny terrace, very private and a real sun trap. Loved the rear extension off the kitchen area which was great to sit in at night, but also the sliding doors opening up the living area completely. Kitchen fitted with everything you could need. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Plus Iain made the booking process easy without any snags or complications, and Sue booked an airport transfer at great value.

Home from home!

Wonderfully spacious villa within easy reach of numerous restaurants & bars located in a quiet residential area.

Very comfortable & clean, exactly as described. 3 very private sun terraces with plenty of sun beds & chairs. Lots of supplied towels!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing fortnight here & would definitely return.

Highly recommend this villa & this owner. Thank you.

We do not provide beach towels. We of course provide bath towels and hand towels for use inside the house.
There is a local Chinese shop that you can purchase two beach towels for 12 euros.
