Spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor of a three storey block with two verandas overlooking the shared pools. Located in a quiet development about a 10-15 minute walk away from the town, marina and beaches.

About the Owner

My wife, Joan and I, bought the apartment for ourselves rather than a rental apartment. We love to visit and try to make it the apartment "ours" so we hope you enjoy it.

I'm just emailing to say what a great time we had in Spain this Summer. Your apartment is fantastic, really peaceful and in wonderful surroundings. It was equipped with everything we needed and was a lovely place to stay. The children thoroughly enjoyed being by the pool as well as exploring the many beaches. From the Owner

It is a Spanish town rather than English. The council will not allow high rise apartments above 4 storeys so it will not turn into a concrete jungle. It is very Spanish so take your dictionary!

Nearest Airport : Castellon at 25 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Flamingos at 0.5 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Panoramica at 40 Kilometres Nearest Train : Alcala at 10 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : AP7 at 5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Ximos (pron. Chimos) at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Alcossebre at 1 Kilometres Car: recommended


There are 5 local beaches each having the EC blue flag awards. The nearest is a 10-15 minute walk away. There are water sport facilities, fishing and volleyball for the more energetic or slink away to a quiet cove for a bit of peace and quiet. The marina, with shops, bars and restaurants is a 15-20 minute walk away.


The nearest airport is Valencia which is about an hour away by car. Reus, just south of Barcelona is the next closest at around 1½ hour away. Both have the cheaper airlines flying to them such as Ryan Air, Easy Jet and Thomsons. Car hire is available at both airports.


The town and marina are a 10-20 minute walk or a short drive away. There are plenty of parking places in and around the town, marina and beaches. 20 minute drive north is Peniscola a picturesque town with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. The spectacular castle (where El Cid was filmed) overlooks the sea and town. The Ebro Delta 1 hour drive north and offers opportunities to see flamingoes. Port Aventura 2 hours north, Valencia's futuristic theme area and ‘old town’ just over 1 hour away.

Further Details:

The town offers a wide range of shopping facilities with many and varied restaurants to satisfy all tastes. With a number of small supermarkets, bakeries and banks, you will not have to leave Alcossebre to cover the great majority of your needs.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is heated by an open log fire with the assistance of a gas heater and electric heaters if needed. The veranda overlooks the pool so you can keep your eye on children in the pool while still enjoying the views. Please bring your own beach towels. Outside: There are two pools adjacent to the apartment, one is a children’s pool shaped as two ovals joined approx 8x5m. A good size grassed area for sunbathing or simply relaxing. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board and iron, large washing basin. An assortment of childrens' beach toys. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The towels and linen are provided including 6 bath and hand towels. Please bring your own beach towels. The property is cleaned after occupancy, normally weekly. Other: Large veranda with spectacular views of the sea and mountains behind apartment. Built-in BBQ with chimney. Table plus 6 chairs and 2 easy chairs. Second veranda overlooks pools and offers a further place to chill out.
