Es Pins is an elegant farmhouse with luxurious accommodation surrounded by 5 acres of mature Mediterranean gardens. The house has a giant pool and several terraces with barbecue and spectacular sea and mountain views. Es Pins is 10 minutes by car from the nearest beaches and 5 minutes walk to the village restaurants and shops. Es Pins is a spacious 200 year-old manor house situated in peaceful countryside close to the charming hill-village of Alqueria Blanca. The house is furnished throughout with antique and old pine furniture combined with traditional Mallorcan fabrics and local terracotta and ceramic tiles. We have been visiting Mallorca and our houses there for some 40 years. Now we live in London and Mallorca where we have many good friends in the South East where our Fincas are situated.

Harvey Herrmann purchased this farmhouse in 1980

Why Harvey Herrmann chose Migjorn Region

Closeness to sea and mountains has always been part of our lives and Es Pins is also close to the small village of Alqueria Blanca, yet utterly peaceful and surrounded by beautiful gardens.

When we saw the house first we immediately fell in love with this old ruin which we have now carefully restored whilst retaining the magic of an old farmhouse.

We can still hear the sheep bells and then wander in 5 minutes into the village for a visit to the bar in the square , the baker, or one of the restaurants.

And, in the morning, off to Cala Mondrago for an early swim on the desrted beach.

What makes this farmhouse unique

Splendidly generous living areas with antique funiture, terraces and large bedrooms ensure our guests return and become friends. There's more of course. The huge pool and the Mediterranean gardens. The peace and quiet of an ancient house with every modern comfort.

For ten years now, our guests have been cared for by our resident couple. Editha is an excellent cook and babysitter by arrangement. They have become very popular with our visitors.

'I just wanted to say what an absolutely wonderful week we had at Es Pins - and thank you for all your help with the arrangements and for building such a stunning villa! We loved the homely and spacious character of the house and the beautifully landscaped gardens. You seem to have thought of the every need of your guests - which is no mean feat - and we felt so at home that we couldn't really summon up the energy to go on excursions, except to pick up our fresh bread each morning! It was also great to be somewhere so child friendly - my nephews were in their element with so much space, and with the lovely Editha to give them cuddles.

One week wasn't nearly long enough. We're already planning our return trip..... ! Many, many thanks. Very best wishes

Beautiful house and gardens

We stayed at this very spacious & beautiful farmhouse for a week in May and wish we had booked for longer! The location was excellent - only a few minutes walk into the village S'Alqueria Blanca with restaurants & lovely shops & bakeries. The house itself was amazing - very well maintained & clean thanks to Edith & Alex and certainly plenty of space for ten people.We were delighted to find additions such as the little courtyard & huge terraces which we didn't notice on the website pictures. The pool was very large & the children really loved that! The extensive gardens are gorgeous as well. We asked Editha to cook for us on a couple of the nights and her cooking was superb! If we needed anything then Editha was on hand straight away. We had a couple of meals in S'Alqueria - Sa Placa was the best (right in the village square) but Bacco is a place to avoid (extremely rude owner). We loved every minute in Es Pins & we would definitely return there. Highly recommended!

Perfect family holiday

Our favourite holiday destination in Europe. Mallorca has much to offer and Es Pins is our preferred house when three generations of our family get together every two years. We have stayed here often and whenever we ask where the children want to go next time the answer is always 'Es Pins'. Spacious house, great pool, nice village, good beaches and restaurants nearby, beautifully maintained.
