Modern apartment in luxury complex set in tropical gardens located between the most exclusive and picturesque beaches of Cap Ferrat, Villefranche and Beaulieu sur mer. Some of the most spectacular views of the Cote d'Azur are to be found in this area. Villefranche is a renowned beauty spot, containing buildings of historic interest and atmospheric cobbled streets and steps dating back 500 years. Nice and Monaco are easily accessed, either by car, bus or train in approximately 15 minutes. Public transport is excellent, making this an ideal spot both for relaxing and touring.

Lovely apartment, wonderful location

The apartment is lovely, well equipped and in a super location. The pool is wonderful too and in a great spot. Had some lovely evenings out - all the restaurants we ate at which were recommended by the owner were wonderful so thank you! We also had some fabulous evenings chilling on the balcony overlooking the gardens. We'd never been to this area before and completely fell in love with it.

There is a breakfast service where you can order fresh pain au chocolat, croissants, baguettes etc at reception and collect the order the following morning. This was a very handy service and we really made the most of it!

One small thing - the second bedroom in the apartment is very small and doesn't actually have its own door, leading straight onto the front door. If you have very young children this might be worth bearing in mind. It's a personal thing though so please don't let this put you off booking this wonderful apartment. We'd definitely highly recommend it!

The property was great, really bright and clean. Lots of storage space and a great balcony, perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids.

Pool is deep but great

Perfect family getaway

The apartment is situated in a fantastic block overlooking beautiful tropical gardens. We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful location and setting to experience the French Riviera. The apartment is very well looked after and extremely well equipped for every little thing we might have needed to make our stay comfortable. There is a pool with plenty of sun loungers overlooking the sea but we preferred to spend our days at the many idillic beaches that are close by.

Nice and Monaco are a short train ride away which made travelling around the area very easy. Both Villefranche and Beaulieu sur mer are a 10 minutes walk of which both host a variety of great restaurants to suit all budgets.

The owner made our stay very special. She has a huge amount of area knowledge and also kindly left us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the delightful balcony. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to experience the French Riviera in a beautiful but homely apartment.

Fantastic location!

A perfect base for our holiday! The apartment had everything we needed as a family, from cooking facilities to a lovely outdoor balcony. The accommodation was bright, airy, comfortable and clean. The swimming pool area was a great sun-trap! The owners also went out of their way to help us plan for our holiday, giving us specific advice following our queries for the best places to go etc! Thank you!

Relaxing stay with a toddler!

We had a wonderful week in this apartment. It was immaculate upon arrival and has a beautiful outlook of the gardens. The swimming pool was also superb with enough beds to go round. The complex is positioned between Beaulieu and Villefranche and gives a lovely variety to the incredible restaurants each area has to offer. We will be back!!

Lovely apartment in beautiful part of the world

Lovely little apartment in pleasant grounds. The apartment block itself is quite tired but the actual apartment is of a very high standard and although quite compact very well organised. There is plenty of storage, a large balcony with dining area and sitting area. The balcony is lovely of an evening lit with candles. There is of course an indoor table, sofa etc but we rarely used these. The kitchenette is small but has everything you need and was excellently equipped - sharp knives, plenty of glasses, mugs etc. The children really liked how compact everything was, they thought it was really clever and loved the location of the bunk beds in a recess off the entrance corridor! There were also board games, table tennis bats and balls (a table up by the pool), beach stuff. The complex itself has a really fabulous pool, warm, large and deep, our 12 year olds loved it. The area around the pool is also delightful with beautiful views and in the first week of September was quiet with lots of sun lounger availability. It is possible to order, still warm, bread and croissants at the main desk for the following morning which was an excellent convenience as one is not in the centre of a town to access a boulanger each morning. My only negatives would be the standard sized double bed coupled with the lack of air conditioning. Thankfully night-time temperatures cooled down a little while we were staying but had they stayed in the 20’s we would have struggled to sleep. The apartment’s location is excellent. It was a 25 min stroll, down a few steps and round the bay to the quay at Ville-Franche where we had magical evenings. St Jean is about 30 minutes along the costal path and Beaulieu a similar distance although we didn’t eat there. The absolutely exquisite Villa Ephrussi is a pleasant 15 minute walk. The owners are very helpful, answering all my advance questions quickly and accurately. The arrival and general information provided was also bang on. Very much recommended as long as you take the lack of air condition into consideration in the middle of summer.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The rade of Villefranche can be accessed by foot directly from the gardens of L'Ange gardien (approx. 300m). This does involve some steps and may not be suitable for all. Beaulieu is within walking distance, with a sheltered sandy beach ideal for children St.Jean-Cap-Ferrat can be reached in 20 minutes via a wonderful level coastal walkway. Ideal for early morning jog or evening stroll!

Travel:

Nice International Airport is 15km. There are excellent connections from airport to Nice and on to Villefranche. Nice, Monaco, Menton and many more destinations can be reached via bus which stops outside the residence. For further destinations, there are trains from both Villefanche and Beaulieu. If arriving by train, it is advisable to use Beaulieu where there is a dedicated taxi rank in service.

Beaulieu sur Mer 2km.

Further Details:

There is a wealth of restaurants, bars etc. to suit all tastes and pockets. These are all within walking distance. There are numerous banks and a large supermarket in Beaulieu which stocks a wide variety of food and wine, including English products! Every morning there is a fresh local produce market in the square in Beaulieu and a larger market every Saturday.There is also an antiques market on Sundays in Villefranche. Throughout the year there are numerous events and fetes which can be checked locally. Tourist offices can be located at Villefranche and Beaulieu.
