A beautifully appointed apartment overlooking one of the prettiest coves on the island with direct access to the beach via a footpath. dirty apartment, poor quality fixtures and fittings

If we had not paid up front for the apartment we would have 'checked out' within a few hours of arriving.

We arrived just after the 'cleaners' had left the unit, We had to spend at least 2 hours going over the surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes as the whole place needed a good clean, so much dust on the units/chairs and surfaces, fridge was dirty and the metal racking moldy, [beware the fridge door is broken and fell apart on our third day, I manage to re-screw the fittings to get it working basically again.

Beds and bedding are of poor quality, double bed was very uncomfortable, they did not make the twin beds up as there was only two of us staying, but they made no attempt to cover up the stained pillows and mattress, even the mattress covers on display were stained, not nice.

They gave you three towels per person per week, I would advise taking your own or buying some when there, like the rest of the unit the towels were old, tatty and stained, seriously why leave a guest a torn stained 'white' towel.

I did send the owner an e-mail prior to my arrival asking if the unit had a safe, he did not respond, it does not by the way. I also sent him, on our first day, pictures of the dirt and stained bedding and also a video of the disgusting filthy and grime laden ceiling fan, this is above the dinning table. He is yet to respond.

We even had to clean the outdoor table on the balcony as it had food crumbs and stains from the previous renters,

I cannot express enough how dirty this place is, every bit of furniture was stained, The cutlery, cheap plastic handle, had been in use for some time with the handle on most broken and within the breaks stains and debris from previous use, the dishwasher in the unit did not work and has not since at least June. Two small tea towels supplied but no other cleaning cloths for the surfaces.One swing bin liner supplied.

The flat has the benefit of two bathroom and toilets, both bathrooms with shower, the double bed with an over bath shower the other a walk in. Again a warning, the bathroom relating to the twin room has such a bad flow rate from the tap it would be impossible to wash with it. Even washing hands was not easy. This sink is also badly stained and taps, sink plug was slimy and stained.

I have given two stars as the property is in a great location and has the most wonderful views from the good size balcony, we did use the bbq which was good and made for a lovely evening watching the impressive sunsets.

Amazing holiday!

This was our second stay at the apartment and enjoyed our holiday just as much as the first. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and perfectly located. The shared pool area provides an intimate space that doesn't allow for over crowding and is cleaned regularly. The views are fantastic and everything you need is within a short distance. We have booked again for next year and it can't come soon enough.

The apartment is in great location and we had a good time .Owner was very good in giving all the details and information needed for arrival . However there are a few remarks that need some attention: Linens can be upgraded ( they were old and not in good clean condition ) . Beds not comfortable at all. One fan for the whole apartment was not enough for the extreme hot weather we encountered .Apartment could use a deeper cleaning presentation. Dishwasher was out of order . Master Bathroom not in good condition( visible mold in the tub and tile areas )

Little bit a heaven

Arranged all through site and Peter contacted me straight away which was reassuring as i'd never booked independently before and was a little weary. We loved our stay and the location was prefect, whether your a couple or have children. You have a shared pool which is cleaned daily and ground maintain with an outside shower ideal to wash off the sand and sea water. The beach is stunning with calm water which is accessible via a pathway and the outlook from the balcony is stunning. Its close to all the shops which is great when self catering and you have use of surrounding hotel facilities. The choices to eat out is endless and that's the great thing about the location as you've got everything within walking distance but far enough away from it all. As we shut the door to the apartment we were secretly planning our return. Claire 2016

Terrific Location and Comfortable Apartment

Spent a wonderful October break in this apartment which is in a fabulous location, literally a stone's throw from the beautiful cove just beyond the private pool immediately below the spacious balcony.

Was wonderful to eat breakfast, and the occasional lunch, dinner and BBQ on that balcony listening to the waves gently lap on to the beach below. Being so secluded the beach was also great for swimming. Our young daughter, a slightly nervous swimmer at the start of the holiday was full of confidence by the end.

The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and is also well located for access to numerous other beaches around the Cala D'or area, a short walk to a number of excellent restaurants, and I'd thoroughly recommend a trip out on the Starfish - a glass bottom boat which pulls up, again virtually a stone's throw from the apartment.

Peter was easy to deal with throughout the booking, and the couple who manage the property for them locally were equally helpful.

The weather was great while we were there despite being late in the season, a pleasant 21c-26c during the day but cooled down nicely at night, and just to add that we had no problems picking up the WiFi from the nearby Inturotel.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to a friend or relative, and indeed we plan to return ourselves in the not too distant future.

stunning apartment on the most beautiful beach

I have returned to this most amazing apartment and location every year since 2006 -sometimes twice a year. It is my favorite spot ever. Just sitting on the balcony and watching the kids close by and waves trickling in....You can have breakfast on the terrace and then amble down to the beach to literally swim with the local cormorant. You can safely watch the kids either swimming in the amazing pool or down at the dreamy beach. There is loads of space in the apartment, modern bright and a huge balcony.

A 10 minute walk into the local town with great restaurants and shops and a further 5 minutes to the very stylish marina with a great yacht club. We just love sitting on the harbour side feeding the huge fish. A great spread of pubs, shops and restaurants are also just around the corner from the apartment. Great for any family dynamic.

It's just 50 mins from the airport and the stylish city of Palma. Great shops and a beautiful cathedral. If you are lucky you might catch an out door show.The water park is close to Palma and the kids loved it. Thank you for the memories - I hope to return for the next 10 years.......

The apartment is over looking Esmeralda beach, a pretty little cove, and has a short path leading on to the sand. Cala Gran beach 5 mins walk. Cala D,Or beach 7 mins walk. Cala Mondrago beach beautiful beach set in nature reserve 10 mins drive.


Palma airport is a 45 mins drive from the apartment. There are many car hire firms at the airport or in Cala D'or. The cost of a taxi to the apartment will be around 50 euros, because of the location of the apartment a car is not essential.


Caves of Drach at Porto Cristo approx 10 miles. Cala Figuera - small pretty fishing village 8 miles. Porto Petro a beautiful natural harbour 2 miles. Porto Colum traditional harbour town 3 miles.

The apartment is only a few mins walk from many bars, shops and restaurants, there is a large supermarket and petrol station a few minutes drive away, the town centre offers a good selection of boutiques, hair salons, a tourist office, the Marina is only a 15 mins walk, where you can dine or sip a cocktail al fresco overlooking the beautiful luxury yachts
