Positioned in a quiet picturesque area on the hills of the Cumbre del sol between Moraira and Javea, this detached villa has lovely mountain and coastal views. The villa is south facing enjoying full sun all day long. The accommodation is all on one level making it ideal for the elderly of infirm. The terrace and swimming pool are accessed directly from the French doors, and again all on the same level. Facilities: within walking distance there is a bank, an excellent supermarket selling practically everything, a good pharmacy, tapas bar, restaurant with a large swimming pool, a small children’s play area, plus a private beach close to villa with beach bar. Nearby is the Javea golf course, horse riding, bowling, and go-karting. Heating provided for winter lets. Car needed. Welcome pack provided.

Excellent villa in an ideal location

This villa is in an ideal location, very close to the coast with excellent access to many small resorts up and down the coast and several inland towns, so lots of places to visit and things to do.

The villa is very well equipped and comfortable with everything you need. The outside area is quite large with lots of area to relax, barbeque and swim in the good sized pool.

There are a couple of small bars/restaurants and supermarket all within easy walking distance.

Moraira (10 mins) and Xàbia/Javea (15 mins) drive away and have some very good restaurants to choose from and an evening stroll along the front, they also have weekly markets which are well worth a browse.

From initial enquiry through to arriving, Tracey the owner provided us with loads of information and answered many questions which ensured our holiday ran very smoothly.

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa which made our holiday in Spain and I will definitely recommend this to family and friends.

We have visited this area of Spain now for a lot of years. We came often when the children were little. We purchased Casa Montana from new in 2001, and still think it is the best place in Spain! The position is so ideal, being away from the crowds yet close to two very popular resorts, and close to several airports.

Special interest holidays:

The private cove close to the villa is of special interest to divers. The cove is called Player del Moraig which has a underwater cave system.


The private beach on La Cumbre del sol is only 1 km away, however most people drive down there because of the steep hill down. There is a car park and a beach bar down there. A short drive further takes you to either the sandy beaches of Moraira, Javea or Portec.


Alicante is only 99km away, and Valencia airport is only 128km. Car hire is essential and readily available at the airports. The villa is easy to find from the main A7 motorway.


La Cumbre del sol forms a back drop to a typical Spanish village called Benitachell which has many local shops and bars. A short drive from La Cumbre takes you into the village, approx 5 mins. The popular resort of Javea is only 6km, and Moraira is about 4km.

Further Details:

Close to the villa is a really good supermarket, bank, restaurant with use of a large swimming pool, tapas bar. Driving down from La Cumbre into the nearby villages/resorts is truly magnificent, the views are spectacular. One of the views is beautiful Montgo Mountain and the other is a view of Moraira and Calpe rock.

Booking Notes:
After confirmation of reservation has been made, a deposit of 20% is required with the booking form. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday along with a £100 refundable security deposit. Keys and directions to the villa are sent 10 days before departure. Security deposit is then returned when the keys are returned and the villa has been checked.

Changeover Day:
Saturdays at peak times, but flexible any other. Guests must arrive after 3pm on the day of arrival, and leave before 10am on the last.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 10% discount for bookings longer than 2 weeks.

20% deposit and the full payment to be paid 6 weeks before departure

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: The property if ideal for families with children. The access from the villa to the terrace and pool are all on one level. The property is also suitable for the elderly/infirm. Outside: Outside there is a large BBQ on the terrace. The terrace is south facing therefore receives full sun most of the day. The terrace faces the private flood-lit swimming pool which has roman steps. The pool is 8x4m, and is cleaned twice a week at peak times. Utility Room: Washing machine, high chair, travel cot, ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned thoroughly before each booking. Clean sheets and towels are provided and a change of towels/linen each week. Own beach towels are needed.
