This villa (main house) was built approx. 40 years ago and is in the beautiful village of Villecroze with approximatately 1000 inhabitants. The old village with its winding lanes and gurgling fountains is surrounded by award winning vineyards and many olive groves. The village has 5 restaurants, 2 bars, small general shop, post office, boulangerie/patisserie and tourist information.We live in a very peaceful area of the village.

We love the peace and quiet of this location but we are within just over a five minute walk of the village.

What makes this apartment unique

We have a lovely pool which is heated.The garden is totally private and extremely peaceful.We have a pergola overlooking the pool which gives shade at certain times of the day and this has a large dining table and chairs.There is also a separate table and chairs by the pool as well as sun loungers and large parasol..

The apartment and grounds is for the sole use of our guests.Other visitors are at the discretion of the owners by seeking prior consent. Outside: The garden to the property is enclosed with electric gates. There is a heated swimming pool together with pool furniture. By the side of the pool is a pergola for shade from the sun with a table and chairs - so you can relax and enjoy eating outside.There is also a second eating area with table and chairs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided, together with pool towels.

Such a lovely, quiet residential location

We so enjoyed this well appointed apartment with easy access to the lovely heated pool. The beautiful village is just 5 minutes walk away where we enjoyed shopping for the fresh baguettes and croissants in the boulangerie. There are plenty of restaurants for such a small village and we had some lovely meals there. It is very well located for visiting the picturesque locality. Hope to return again soon.

Beautiful place - Excellent Value

A stylish self contained apartment with everything provided and wonderful helpful hosts.Just a 5 minute walk from the centre of beautiful Villecroze and easily accessible by car to neighbouring villages with their typical "old Provencal" charms.Good restaurants and thriving market all around.Marvelous heated swimming pool.A truly lovely place altogether and excellent value for money.You won't be disappointed.

Approximate driving time to St.Maxime is 45 minutes, Port Grimaud 55 minutes, St.Tropex 1 hour.Cavalaire 1hr.20 minutes with good beach for children.

Lake St.Croix is about 20 minutes drive away and this lake is a magnificent sight, where you can swim, picnic and use the pedal boats or electric boats.

Approximate driving times: Nice Airport is 1.25 minutes drive, Marseille airport is 1.45 minutes drive, Draguignan/Les Arcs railway station, 35 minutes.

Distances:

The village of Villecroze is surrounded by other very pretty and interesting villages, ie. Aups, Salernes, Lorgues, Contignac and Tourtour. The nearest large town is Draguignan which is 20 minutes drive away.

Further Details:

There is a small general shop in Villecroze, boulangerie, post office, shop which sells plants,flowers and small gifts. The nearest supermarket being approximately 8 minutes away in Salernes. Banks are available in Aups, Salernes, Lorgues etc.
