Villa Moraira, Costa Blanca, Quiet Residential Area, 1km From Beach, Air Conditioned With Many Home Comforts

Recently refurbished to a high standard the villa offers a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There are two bathrooms both with shower facilities. From the terrace and balcony are fantastic views of the beautiful blue Med. The pool and terrace are on the same level as the villa so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. English flat screen TV and WiFi in the comfortable living room with large comfy sofas. There are 3 good size bedrooms, with plenty of storage. There is an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, microwave oven and child's cot and high chair is available by arrangement. The poolside area is spacious and there is a rear courtyard plus very large, well tended garden. The citrus gardens bear fruit for 9 months of the year. There is parking for two cars on the gated drive. Moraira town has an eclectic range of bars and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. There are many beaches to choose from all within walking distance. Summer is a great time for fiestas in the town, with splendid firework displays and local live processions and music. The marina is bustling and has its own cafes and restaurants. There are a choice of golf courses within an easy drive.

About Julie Kenyon

Neil and Julie have owned this property since 2003, when it had a major renovation. Improvements have been made to the property ever since to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable stay.

We visit the villa 2 - 3 times a year with the family and always enjoy the peaceful, private location, sea views, and spacious living area. The garden is unique, with an array of orange and lemon trees set in a generous plot.

Why Julie Kenyon chose Moraira

My parents and sister live in Moraira, so we felt we wanted a second home there, to make family visits easier. It is a lovely town, so much so, more of our friends have bought properties in the area since we bought in 2003. It's a lovely, clean unspoilt town, with lovely Spanish bars and restaurants as well as places that cater for tourists.

Moraira is perfect for families and couples seeking a quiet break, though the many fiestas add lively party nights to the calendar.

What makes this villa unique

Our property is just 2.5km from the centre of Moraira, with plenty of excellent bars, restaurants and shops within just 5 minutes walk. The Algas beach bar is just down the hill, with access to snorkeling in the sea from here. Casa Amelie is in a secluded position, with expansive sea views in a quiet residential area. The villa is extremely spacious with a rear courtyard and covered terrace for outdoor eating in the shade.

The nearest beach is approximately 1km away. There are numerous beaches to choose from (rocky & sandy) all within easy walking distance.


Alicante airport is approximately 95 km away and car hire from here is easy. Valencia airport is approximately 130km away. Directions to the villa in Moraira from either airport are simple to follow.


There are some larger towns nearby. Javea, Calpe and Denia are only half an hours drive and offer bars, restaurants, shopping and historical places of interest to visit. The numerous areas of leisure and entertainment have been further enhanced by the opening of Terra Mitica, one of the most modern and attractive theme parks in Europe. There is an indoor shopping mall at Ondara, head north towards Valencia, it takes approx 25 minutes in the car. You can pick up some bargains there, especially from the shoe shops.

Further Details:

Moraira is one of the prettiest and well kept coastal towns in Spain. It has an impressive marina, friendly eateries, lively bars and a funfair for the children in season. Market day is Friday. There are plenty of fiestas throughout the summer, and the town is always kept spotlessly clean. With all of its offerings within walking distance it makes it the perfect place for a family or romantic holiday.

Benidorm is just 30 minutes drive away where the theme parks Aqualandia and Terra Mitica can be found. Old town Benidorm offers lots of small tapas bars and is very lively at night.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is family friendly and is all on one level. The pool can be viewed easily from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. The cot is a travel cot. Access into the villa is up 3 steps. Outside: The pool and terrace are private. There are 6 sun loungers for use on the terrace, outside dining furniture, BBQ and a large parasol. The large citrus gardens surround the parking area in well kept gardens. There is a covered terrace area as well as an expansive poolside terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen are provided. These are changed weekly when the villa is cleaned. Beach towels are not supplied. A child's travel cot, high chair and ironing facilities are available.

Booking Notes:
Bookings can be taken over the telephone or e mail. Bookings are secured with a 25% non returnable deposit with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the dates booked. An additional security deposit of £150 for the use of the air conditioning and in case of damage or additional cleaning is payable in the final balance. Unused funds will be returned 1 week after your return. Prices include cleaning charges.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are Saturdays where you are asked to leave by 10am. Stays beyond this time cannot be accommodated due to arrival of next guests. Any late departures will result in retention of security deposit.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
