Fold-away sofa bed is large, comfortable and sheets/blankets are provided.

Storage can be arranged for visiting golfers.

All linen/towels are provided and cleaning is arranged weekly. Please bring beach towels.

Location, Location, breathtaking beaches, traditional town.

It is only 40 minutes from Faro airport but popular with the Spanish from the towns who get out of the inland heat in summer.

Seville is a little over and hour, the Western Algarve is 45 mins.

What makes this apartment unique

Prado Golf is a gated, private complex just two or three minutes by car from the beraches or the town of Ayamonte.

It is maturing and now known as the best complex around in terms of ease of location with privacy. There are amenities such as the pools and tennis available and golf at the Isla Canela club comes with almost 50pc discount as a guest!

A relaxing break

The apartment was very comfortable and set in extremely well-kept surroundings - pool / gardens etc. We felt that the owner could have done more to help people new to the area by supplying maps, places of interest, and basics like, 'nearest supermarket'. Also directions to the apartment were lacking in clarity.There could have been more crockery / cutlery and cookery ware available too for families such as ours that alternated eating out with eating in. Unfortunately we had no air conditioning for the whole of our stay as it had apparently failed the week before. This was finally resolved on the evening of our last night. Fans were provided but too noisy to use at night. We were disappointed that alternative contingencies such as portable air conditioning units were apparently not available locally. However, we found the location - as promised - very 'Spanish', quiet, lovely beaches and just what we were looking for. A car is definitely needed to access the local area including beaches and nearest supermarket (both approx. 1.5 miles).
