This apartment is set in a conservation area close to Santa Ponsa. It has been furnished as a 2nd home and the high standard of furnishings are reflected in this. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, a large living/dining area, a well equipped kitchen and utility room and is fully air-conditioned and heated. The bedrooms and lounge overlook and have access to the large south-facing terrace and private garden, which overlooks the beautiful freeform pools and extensive landscaped gardens. They have shallow ends ideal for children. It is conveniently located close to beaches, golf, and all the main attractions and yet is in a peaceful, tranquil location close to a small village. Perfect for families and adults alike.

Great appartment, beautiful furniture, nice garden

We stayed in this appartment for two weeks (2 adults, 3 children age 11, 16 and 16). The appartment is nicely furnitured and has enough space for 5 / 6 people. It had a beautiful garden that has also nice furniture and it lies almost directly at the pool. The complex is quite (we had some small screaming children in the building while we were there, but it didn't spoil our holiday). Normaly we rent a house, but this was a good alternative. The area is fantastic, we love port Adriano, but I recommend to rent a car. Enough parking space on the complex.

There was a mobile WiFi device in the appartment, but we (although we did two visite to the local Movistar shop and bought a data sim card) couldnt get it working. Rachel said she would take a look at it after we leave. Our children prefere to have WiFi for their smart devices, but since port Adriano has fantastic free WiFi, we spend a lot of evenings there.

For families with young children I could really recommend the appartment.

The development is generally peaceful and quiet but sometimes children on holiday can be a little excitable!! It's a shame we didn't know about the MIFI unit not working correctly beforehand as it was just a setting which needed adjusting and is now working again. We always aim to rectify problems as quickly and efficiently as possible but in this instance we weren't aware of a problem. There are many areas in Mallorca where free wifi is available but it's always nice to have the facility when you get home to the apartment after a busy day! Port Adriano is a really great place to visit and we are so lucky that it is as close to us as it is. We'll look forward to welcoming you again sometime in the future.

Perfect apartment in perfect setting

What a find! This has been the most wonderful holiday for my family. We enjoyed perfect weather for 10 days and were able to use the outdoor pools in May. Compliments to Rachel for her apartment which certainly has a wow factor. Port Adriano with restaurants for everyone's taste and El Toro also has some culinary secrets to discover. We'll be back!!!

Fabulous Family-friendly Flat!

We were well pleased with the accommodation. We loved being on the ground floor and having the poor right outside our door. Eating or sitting out on the patio most evenings was a delight and we found the beds cry comfortable. My two girls (8 & 4) loved it and we all felt at home. The location is very convenient. Rachel was very friendly and easy to work with. Communication before our arrival was fantastic and she was very helpful. Overall, we loved it & will definitely return!

WOW!

This apartment is fab and has everything you might need for a super holiday. The complex is lovely with fab pools and stunning grounds. We chose not to hire a car and found it was just a short walk to all the amenities we needed. This is the perfect place to relax. We highly recommend it!

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is conveniently situated close to several beautiful beaches, within a few minutes walk of the small sandy beach at El Toro, adjacent to the newly designed Puerto Adriano with its cafes/ restaurants, a 5 minute drive to the large beach in Santa Ponsa surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, and a 15 minute drive through pine forests to the more secluded beach at Portals Vells with its own beach restaurant, a favourite anchorage for the superyachts. Great for people watching!

Travel:

Palma International Airport is a 25 min drive away and buses and taxis are inexpensive and reliable. The ferry port in Palma is a fifteen minute drive. Hire car is recommended but is not essential as there are shops, cafes and a beach all within a fifteen minute walk.

Distances:

The city of Palma with it's myriad of shops, authentic Spanish plazas and historic centre, the Cathedral and Palace are twenty minutes away. Calvia and Es Capdella, two typically Spanish villages are also about twenty minutes away by car and are worth a visit as is Andraxt further along the coast to the west, once a small fishing port now a cosmopolitan town catering to the rich and famous whilst retaining it's integrity. Palma Nova/Magaluf is a ten minute drive and Santa Ponsa beach is five.

Further Details:

Our closest village is El Toro, a small but typically Spanish village which is great for a morning 'café con leche' or local tapas as well as having some international restaurants. There is a supermarket here as well as a bakery, newsagent, bank and chemist. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk and two or three in a car. Port Adriano which lies beneath the village down a fairly steep hill, has been transformed into one of the most upmarket marina's in the Med catering to megayachts as well as small local fishing boats. A myriad of designer shops and boutiques compliment the many exclusive restaurants and cafes on the port and they suit all budgets and tastes. There is a small local sandy beach here and a watersports centre and dive school. The watersports and dive centre offer a whole range of sports including kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing as well as dive courses and diving trips. The dive courses are from beginner/discover diving to free diving and dive master courses. They also offer sailing courses and can arrange for boat rentals as well. Their link is www.marbalear.com. Puerto Portals, another well known marina is a fifteen minute drive away and is a mecca for the rich and famous. The main resort of Santa Ponsa is a five minute drive away and has a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops as well as a large beach.

Booking Notes:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay. Payment is via bank transfer. At present we don't offer online payments as Owners Direct charge a percentage of the booking for all online payments. We have always taken payment this way and hope to continue to do so. Please be assured that once your payment is received, your booking is safe. I am available at all times on my mobile or home number should you wish to discuss anything regarding your enquiry, booking, payment or stay in our beautiful apartment. A security deposit of £250 will also be required which is refundable providing no damage has been done and no excess cleaning required following your stay. Pets may be accepted by prior arrangement.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are on Saturday in summer but flexible at other times of the year. Please ask.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds and equivalent price in Euros. Please be aware we don't provide tourist services and the rental of the property is subject to the Urban Law.
Winter lets available from 1 October to 1 April. Substantial reductions for longer lets during this period.

A 50% non- refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance plus refundable security deposit of £250 is payable eight weeks prior to the start of the rental. Payment is via bank transfer.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is situated on the ground floor and is therefore suitable for the elderly and especially suitable for families with children as there is a private garden with direct access to the community gardens and pools. The garden is near a pool which has a walk in shallow end, ideal for families with young children who can be kept an eye on from the garden. It is also air-conditioned/heated, making it suitable for use all year. Outside: The large terrace is not overlooked, benefits from all day sun and leads onto the apartments private Mediterranean garden. The terrace is well furnished with a teak dining table and seating for 6, a comfy sofa and armchair with foot rest, two chaises, sun loungers and coffee tables. The garden is hedged for added privacy and overlooks the beautiful landscaped gardens and pool areas. Pets may be considered with prior notice.
