The modern kitchen is fully equipped and the open plan living area with patio doors leads to a large balcony with additional seating for alfresco dining. Guests are able to utilise the large pool and children's pool. This is an exclusive amenity for this complex of 66 condominiums and has restricted access.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air-conditioned with an excellent heating system if required and wireless internet. The apartment is suitable for children with the recommended safety feature of tempered glass fitted in front of the balcony rails. Cot, high chair, bouncer chair available free of charge! This brand new, luxuriously appointed apartment offers accommodation rarely found at this price level. Corinne, our representative, will greet you and is contactable throughout your stay should you require any assistance. Inside the apartment you will find a welcome folder and other useful information. Please feel free to add your own tips and recommendations. For your peace of mind, video entry phone, smoke alarm, fire blanket, fire extinguisher, front door viewer and window locks have been fitted and Marina complex provides 24 hour security. Airport transfers and babysitting services can be arranged, please ask for details. Outside: The lounge opens onto a large balcony which overlooks the Pool,Gardens & Marina. There is a dining table 6 chairs for al fresco eating, 2 sun loungers for relaxing and gets the sun from first thing in the morning making it ideal for private bathing. There is a large pool and a children’s pool as well as beautifully maintained garden areas. This is free exclusively to the residents of the gated condominium area called 'Dom Manuel'. This condominium is unique in that it is the only development of apartments in the Marina which has its own communal pools. All other Marina apartments must use the pools located at the Marina Hotel which can be up to a 5 minute walk away therefore there is no pool view from the apartments and sometimes fees are charged. It is worth checking prior to making any booking ! By our pools sun loungers + table/chairs are provided free of charge. Also on the Marina complex there is a children’s play area with swings, slide etc. and bumper cars and boats. Utility Room: Off the kitchen is an external patio utility area with clothes horse pegs. This balcony is fully seperate from the main dining and sun bathing balcony. Found here is a large selection of water toys for all ages, rubber rings, buckets, spades, body boards. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned and prepared for your arrival. Fresh white bed linen and white towels are provided. You are kindly requested to bring your own towels for use on the beach or by the swimming pool. Other: Your holiday experience is further enhanced by the spacious dining table and chairs, entertainment from the TV, DVD and CD player, benefit of the full sky package (movies & sky's ports 1 to 4) and remote controlled air-conditioning/heating unit.

A nice apartment.

The apartment is as described and was very clean, the beds are comfy. We were met by agent for keys and handover. The apartment is in a secure, locked complex. The apartment is next to a supermarket which made food shopping easy. It is a short walk from Marina bars and a longer walk into old Lagos. The busy end of the beach is a good 20 minute walk away which in high temperatures is pretty tough. The apartment overlooks the busy pool which can be noisy during the day. It is very hard to ge sun beds round the pool - there simply are not enough to go round and greedy people reserve them all day long, even when they are not using them. Ground floor apartments can access the pool easily, other apartments on other floors cannot do this until the pool is owned by security at 8.00am.

2 cheap portable sun beds are provided in the flat which you can take to pool if you wish.

The kitchen has basic equipment only and was rather tired.

We love Lagos and will undoubtedly return to the area.

Owner's Response: Unfortunately the person providing this review was of a more mature age group who had quite clearly not done the appropriate research before booking the week in early July. This period is very family orientated. One person's noisy pool is another person's joyful celebration of small children playing happily. The beach is merely a pleasant 15 minute stroll or 5 minutes in the car. The sun beds are not cheap but deliberately light to facilitate easy carrying to the pool. The comment about the kitchen is unwaranted since it is of similar design to most apartments in the complex and boasts dish washer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, oven and fridge freezer. Fortunately prospective clients will be able to see that this review is in absolute contradiction to other reviews about this apartment and is more a reflection of a 'certain inflexible mindset' than the truth.

Amazing Apartment

Amazing apartment in an amazing location. I could not fault this apartment in any way, walking distance to the marina, restaurants and bars, apartment was spotless, everything was perfect. Shelley was very helpful. We will definitely be back. I would also recommend kayaking to the caves this was an unbelievable experience. Thanks again

fantastic holiday apartment i happily recommend

very clean nicely decorated.well supplied kitchen with every thing you could need for making a salad lunch or 5 coarse meal . the apartment is a short distance from bars and restaurants in the marina which are exellent.15minutes walk and you are in the old town of lagos which is great for eating out.the owner was very helpful with everything as was her agent on arrival making for a great stay

Great holiday destination

We had such a fantastic holiday in Lagos. The apartment was lovely, very spacious and well equipped and the location was perfect - walking distance to the marina, the beach, bars and restaurants and also the supermarket!

We loved Lagos and will definitely be returning and have already recommended your apartment to family and friends.

A great stay

We stayed here with our little girl and the flat had everything we wanted, right down to a collection of buckets and spades! The apartment complex is fantastic for families as you can just relax by the pool if you don't want to venture out. Lagos itself is a wonderful town, the beaches are beautiful and the old town is lovely to stroll around.

We had a perfect holiday.

Car: not necessary


The apartment is located a pleasant 10 minute stroll from the beautiful golden sands of Meia Praia beach. From the waterfront you can enjoy many day trips and activities including dolphin safaris, diving, para gliding and boat trips to the grottos.


From Faro airport you can easily find Lagos by car straight down the A22, by train or resort hopper.


The apartment is ideally located within walking distance of the bus and train station where transport can be found to all of the many attractions of the Algarve, including the water parks, Zoo Marine, Zoo, Algarve shopping centre, Cape de St. Vincent, shops, supermarket, bars. Restaurants and the waterfront are 5 mins walk away, the old town centre is 15 mins walk along the waterfront and golf courses are approx 10 mins drive.

Further Details:

The Marina is within a short walking distance of Lagos town, railway station & beach. There are numerous cosmopolitan cafes, bars and restaurants in the Marina, together with cash machines and telephones. It is a gentle 10 minute scenic stroll across the river and footbridge to the bustling town of Lagos so car hire is not necessary. Attractions of the Marina:

- Wide selection of Restaurants - Bars and Bistros - Shops & Boutiques - Marina Health Club - Boat trips - Sailing - Scuba diving - Dolphin Watching. Marina Health Club: A short walk from the apartment is the Marina Health Club which is part of the 4* luxury Marina Hotel. The Health club can be used all day for a small fee. Facilities include bike hire, Swimming pool, Gym, Sauna and Beauty treatment. Lagos - The town was founded by the Phoenicians. The Moors made it an important trading town before the re-conquest by Christian armies in 1241. It was used by Henry the Navigator as a base for African trade and remnants of the first slave market in Europe can be found alongside the old custom house. A visit should be made to the Igreja de Santo António and the museum next door being one of the few buildings which survived the 1755 earthquake. Lagos has a daily fresh fish market, artisan shops with pottery and clothing bargains and many small craft shops. The historic old town is steeped in over a thousand years tradition. Jugglers, craft markets and artists are common in the cobbled streets. The pedestrianisation of the town centre has been a major success and the town is very lively in the evenings. With its winding streets, it retains an old world Portuguese charm and relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to sit in the marina and watch the world go by, but why not take a stroll along the beautiful waterfront or visit the nearby sandy beaches. The choice of cafes, restaurants and shopping is excellent. At night, Lagos comes alive with open air stalls and street performers.
