Apartment Joza - This lovely modern apartment is on the top floor and is one of six apartments, and has two bedrooms and a sofabed in the lounge. It has a large balcony with fabulous views over the town, sea and mountains. It is situated near the end of the Peljesac Peninsula in Orebic, a beautiful town which lies at the base of St. Ilia's mountain, whilst unspoilt, has plenty of bars/restaurants and a lovely marina to enjoy. The water is crystal clear and excellent for water sports including windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, sailing and there is a sandy beach. In the summer, plenty of water sport activities are operated on the beach. We also have an arrangement with a nearby hotel to use their swimming pool for a small fee of 70 Kuna p.p (Approx £6.50) or 100 Kuna p.p (approx £9.80) to use the Pool, Gym/Sauna and Hot tub. From the marina you can take a 15 minute car/passenger ferry to the beautiful old walled town of Korcula with its cobbled streets and excellent restaurants. There are also superb Diving and Fishing activities nearby, together with many cycle or hiking opportunities for every ability. On the slopes of the mountain, just above the town sits a lovely monastery with glorious panoramic views of the islands, which can be accessed by car or by bike/on foot. If the mountain sounds a little challenging, why not take the flat easy route, right along the promenade.

Hi, I'm Elisa and I have owned this lovely apartment for 10 years. I'm married to Mike and have 2 gorgeous boys. We love Orebic as it is completely unspoilt whilst still having plenty to do with lots of lovely restaurants. It really is a world away from busy lives, once you visit, you will find that it is most definitely, relax and enjoy!

Dear Elisa,

Thank you so much for letting us use your apartment and for sending the deposit back so quickly.

We had a really great time and the children spent almost the whole time on the beach. They particularly enjoyed the inflatable water slides at one end of the beach, though spent most of the time on the beach just swimming. We really liked Orebic and Korcula and will be telling others.

The file in the house was very helpful and full, and Ivo and his colleagues were very helpful too. We hired bikes from them and cycled along the coast.

Great place to visit!

Orebic is a really nice place to visit, especially if you are coming with a family. Eliza's place is in a nice location, close to the sea side. It's very clean and well equipped. If you are looking for a quite family location - try Orebic!

Lovely apartment with a sea view.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautifully clean and well maintained. It was lovely to sit out and enjoy the sea views. The apartment was close to a small supermarket, bread shop and there was a cafe/bar on the corner of the road. The beaches are within walking distance and the resort has a range of restaurants. The passenger ferry to Korcula is easy to use and worthwhile a visit. Overall anyone visiting will have an enjoyable time.

This is a beautiful area of Croatia, plenty to do but completely unspoilt. Our apartment is centrally located with lots of amenities... Lovely restaurants, sandy beach and Marina nearby. Lots of Islands to explore and a ancient monastery with superb panoramic views! A short ferry journey to the walled old town of Korcula is a must! Ferries run all day and into the evening so you can enjoy a day or evening in this beautiful town known as 'Mini Dubrovnik'. There are plenty of beach activities during late spring/summer from the sandy beach.

Nearest Airport : Dubrovnik at 130 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Meteor at 100 Metres Nearest Ferry : Orebic at 600 Metres Nearest Restaurant : Various restaurants nearby at 150 Metres Nearest Beach : Orebic (pebble alcoves 150m, main beach 1km) at 150 Metres Car: not necessary


The seafront is approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There is a sandy beach and a pebble beach within approximately 10 minutes walk and a lovely marina.


Nearest airport is Dubrovnik which is about 2 hours drive through scenic countryside and mountain views. You can also fly to Split and take a ferry from Ploce to the Peninsula or you can sail from Split to Korcula and get the ferry to Orebic. You do have the option of flying to Bari (Italy) and sailing overnight to Dubrovnik and then driving to Orebic.

Further Details:

There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and a local bank 5 minutes walk. There is a diving centre approx 5 minutes drive away. Please note that water electricity is included in the price but you do need to pay Croatian Tourist Tax on arrival (approx 7Kn per person per day)

This apartment is smart, comfortable and is really a home from home feel. It is quiet but close enough for all amenities to be just a short walk away. It has fabulous sea and mountain views from our balcony, where you can relax with a glass of wine as the sun sets. We have free Wi-Fi in the apartment.

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartment has air conditioning. Please note that it is on the top floor and accessed by two flights of stairs. Use of pool at Hotel Indijan nearby (Škvar, 2, 20250, Orebić); We have an arrangement that our guests can use this lovely indoor pool with retractable roof. However, they do advise that you check with them first to book in, as it can get busy in high season. They can be contacted on +00385 207 14555. They also have a hot tub and gym facilities. There is a small fee to pay to use it, the amount depends which facilities you would like to use. Outside: The balcony gives great views of the town and the sea, and the off-road parking space is located beside the building entrance. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen is included. Property is cleaned and new bed linen provided before each new guests arrive.
