Situated within the St James complex in Praia da Luz the apartment is fully furnished and well equipped for an enjoyable self-catering holiday. There is a balcony area overlooking the pool area and with sea views, including external furniture. The apartment itself is air conditioned throughout for added comfort. The town centre and beach front are less than a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of golf courses to choose from in the western Algarve the closest being the BoaVista golf complex less than a 5 minute drive away. The complex offers a full size communal pool and adjoining children’s pool including all lounging furniture and full time life guard in attendance (Seasonal). The complex also has an on site restaurant and bank. The Apartment is registered with the Portuguese Tourist Licence Ref AL9347. The apartment has full Wi-Fi access and full UK TV.

We live in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and love our little trips away to Portugal.

We only visited Luz once and fell in love with the place and decided to purchase the Apartment.

Luz has everything we need in a holiday, the beach, resteraunts and the lovely buzz of a holiday village.

We try and visit as much as we possibly can and we are sure anyone visiting would love the place as much as we do.

Coast/Beach:

The beach is just 500 meters walk from the apartment. Praia da Luz have one of the best and safest beaches on the Algarve. Throughout the year hosting a variety of different water sports and activites. The bay is protected and surrounded by it's magnificent coloured cliffs. Within a short drive there are the beautiful bays of Salema, Bergau, Meia Praia, Dona Ana, Porto de Mos and many more.

Travel:

Faro airport is a 45 minute drive via the A22 motorway.

Car hire can be arranged if required for pick up and drop off at Faro International airport. Car hire is not a necessity and transfers can be arranged through a local English speaking taxi company.

Distances:

Praia da Luz is situated 5Km west of the major town of Lagos where there are further shops, restaurants, bars and marina.

Other places of interest are within easy driving distance of Praia da Luz.

Further Details:

Over the years Praia da Luz has developed into a popular small holiday resort visited by many nationalities.

The town itself it totally self-sufficient for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Booking Notes:
A 20% deposit (non refundable) is required to confirm any booking. The balance is due in full no later than 4 weeks prior to departure. In addition a £50 damage deposit is required with the rental balance, which is refundable on return. We now accept payment by credit / debit card through Paypal, but, subject to a 5% fee.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover days. Guests must leave the apartment no later than 10.00am on day of departure and check in after 2.00pm on day of arrival. Any other times outside the above and subject to prior arrangement and agreement.

Notes on prices:
Nominal supplement charge per week for more than 4 guests.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: A local management agent is located locally who is available 24 hours to deal with any queries or problems which may arise. Cot and high chair facilities can be provided with prior notice, and subject to a small additional cost. There are oil filled radiators throughout the apartment for additional comfort if required. Outside: There is a private balcony area to the apartment which includes furniture for the use of apartment residents. Additional furniture is provided to the pool area for the use of St James residents and guests. All other area's are landscaped and maintained. For the sole use of St James residents and guests, and not open to the general public. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and bed linen are included which are changed weekly, including weekly cleaning service. Guests are required to provide their own beach and pool towels. Other: There is a separate dining area adjacent the kitchen complete with dining table and seating.
