This comfortably furnished villa has 3 bedrooms - master with dressing area and ensuite to 1st floor with 2 x twin rooms and bathroom on ground floor. All bedrooms and lounge/dining area have air conditioning. The shared pool is 30 secs walk away and is ideal for children. There are shops and excellent restaurants within walking distance and extensive safe sandy beaches 5 mins drive away. The villa is 'baby friendly' and is equipped with a travel cot, high chair, stair gate and 'bouncy chair'

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in Guadamar last month.



It was exactly how you described it with the town at night buzzing with Spanish people. Our two 11 year old boys loved the fact that they could be playing on the beach at night whilst waiting for their dinner.



We just enjoyed the lovely wine!!



Your villa was perfect for us and in a wonderful location with the shops and lovely restaurants nearby. We had two lovely meals in Stan and Ollie's.



Thank you for the use of your villa and if I ever know of anyone or if we decide to go to Guadamar again I would definitely recommend the villa.

Lovely well equipped villa, pubs & restaurants only 30 metres away, great times at Rayz bar, fantastic beaches only 5 minutes drive away.

I would highly recommend this Villa, you will love the location.

Great Villa and great location

We had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at John and Karen's Villa. The house is very clean and has all the facilities you need, which for us included the 2 downstairs bedrooms and full airconditioning, as the temperatures were very hot. The key holder, Maureen, was very nice and helpful and Iives very local if you need any assistance. The pool was literally 20 paces away and our 7 year old loved it and there are places to sit in both sun and shade.

The area is nice and quiet but also has enough bars and restaurants the top of the street to be able to keep you entertained, at very reasonable prices. Our favourites were The Med bistro and Stan and Ollie's. There are lots of quality beaches to visit however you do need a car.

We would consider going to El Raso again and the photos on the website do not do this villa justice. Thanks for the stay.

This is a lovely well equipped villa.

The owner was easy to deal with and maureen that welcomed us was lovely.

There is everything you could possibly need in the villa and it was nice and clean in a quiet area.

The pool area was immaculate with a little pool for the kids.

At the top of the street there was rayz bar (great cocktails) and friendly banter.

There is also a couple of places to eat next to it and we tried them both and enjoyed them both.

This is the first time we had booked a villa we usually go all inclusive but i have to say i enjoyed it and it really was a home from home..

Location

From the Owner

We bought our Villa because in in in a nice area, close to local ameneties, shops, bars etc but still very quiet and private. It is in a secure location with little or no traffic to speak of which appealed to us. We also liked the fact that it is very close to the communal pool as well, which is just perfect for cooling off in in the summer months - we have 2 children who love a pool holiday and the opportunity to make friends there, which they do every time we go. They are now old enough to head up to the local bars for games of pool and to go on the internet (there is an internet cafe in Ray's bar at the top of the street) and the beauty of it is that they are able to do this without any hassle and they feel (and are) very safe doing so.

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 30 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : The med bar at 50 Metres Nearest Golf : La Marquesa at 5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Stan and ollies at 75 Metres Nearest Beach : Guardamar at 2 Kilometres

Special interest holidays:

There's good diving aound the Costa Blanca and we have contacts for 2 local PADI dive centres who offer a full range of courses, instruction or just an opportunity to experience the sea in a unique way.

Coast/Beach:

The closest beach is a 5 minute drive away, the sand dunes stretch for almost 20km. Sections of this beach are patrolled in the summer months by life guards, refreshment facilities are available too. The towns of Torrevieja and Guardamar are 10 mins away.

Travel:

Alicante airport is approx 35 minutes drive away and

Murcia airport is a 30 minute drive via the motorway. It is possible to reach the villa by taxi or bus but a car is recommended. Car hire can be arranged at both airports, airport pickups can be arranged at an extra cost.

Distances:

Elche has a large Palm forest and is an historic old town it is a half hour drive from the villa. Alicante town is approx 40 minutes away and has many attractions. Cartagena is an hour's drive away and has an interesting port and old town

Further Details:

There are two water parks in the area one in Quesada and one in Torrevieja. The local market is on Sunday throughout the year. Torrevieja has a range of water sports that can be arranged on the beach including scuba diving and para-scending.

A holiday (or longer break) at our Villa is very relaxing. The micro-climate of the area means over 300 days of sunshine a year and even in winter we enjoy clear skies and temperatures in the mid teens during the day. There is a wide variety of restaurants, all within easy walking distance and offer a huge range of choice and all offer good quality and VFM. There are 4 bars together at the top of the street (1 minute walk at most) all of which serve good standard bar food, dedicated eateries include a really good 'English' reataurant, a really good Indian, and Steak House, Tapas Bar and a lovely Spanish Restaurant serving Paella and other traditional meals. The local bus services are good and very cheap and run regularly to the spectacular local beaches.

  • Outside: Small enclosed garden. 2 patio areas both equipped with table, chairs and parasols. First floor patio has 6 sun loungers and overlooks pool area. Shared unheated pool with kiddies pool incorporated, grassed surround to pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels included (NOT beach towels). There is a 70 euro cleaning charge that is payable locally at the end of your stay. If you are staying for 2 weeks and wish to have the beds changed and cleaned after a week there is a small extra charge.
