About the property

Apartment in Quesada, Costa Blanca South

Comfortably accommodating 4 people this apartment is well placed, being close to the town centre whilst not feeling like a part of a holiday complex. An ideal place to relax and tour the many places of interest in the region. The 3 communal pools are situated at the rear of the property, in peaceful surroundings (siesta time is observed) and the pool area is for residents only. This is just the place to relax with a book etc.

About Mair Gooderham

I am Welsh and was brought up in North Wales, I have lived in Suffolk for 48 years. I work part time as a school burser for a private school.

I bought the place in Spain for my own holidays and the occasional use by visitors and I must say all that visit have really enjoyed the place and the area, many returning year after year.

Notes on accommodation: Electric heater in lounge and 2 portable electric radiators. The apartment is strictly non smoking. No pets allowed. Outside: Small gravel front garden with a number of steps (handrail now fittedl) leading up to the front door,secure gate to the road. 3 communal swimming pools set in quiet surroundings. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board and clothes horse for drying outside. Cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Bedlinen, towels and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. The property is cleaned prior to arrival, extra cleaning can be arranged and paid for locally. Other: Balcony leads from dining area and has seating for 4 and looks over small enclosed front garden.

There are plenty of beaches within driving distance. The nearest is Guardamar which is 10 minutes drive away where there are miles of safe sandy beaches. La Mata is also a similar distance away and also has lovely sandy beaches and boardwalk for you to enjoy a leasurely walk


Alicante and Murcia airport are approx 40km away. A taxi would cost approx 50 euros each way. Car hire is advisable and readily available. The drive from the airport is not complicated, most of it being on the A-7 motorway.


Torrevieja is 15 minutes drive away. Cartagena is about 30 - 40 minutes drive away. The salt lakes can be seen from the apartment and are renowned for their wildlife.

Further Details:

2 mins walk from the apartment there is a well stocked supermarket, a selection of small bars that serve good value food, and a newsagents. In the town there are numerous bars and restaurants, these include Chinese, Thai and Indian. There are also banks, hairdressers, a church, and a travel agents where trips and taxis can be booked. 5 mins drive from the apartment there is an Aquapark.

Booking Notes:
A non refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. 8 weeks prior to departure full payment plus £50 breakage fee (refundable after apartment has been checked) is required. 50 euros to be left in the apartment for cleaning at the end of stay.


Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover days to assist with cheap flight availability will always be considered. A discount for returning visitors is also be considered.
