Villa in Montana Roja, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - Sleeps Ten, Four Bedrooms And Three Bathrooms

Villa Blackrock is a spacious, modern, detached luxury villa, with large electrically heated private pool with an extensive south facing private terrace and gated walled garden. It is situated in its own grounds, with wonderful mountain views. The estate is a small private gated community which benefits from a CCTV security system which is on operation on the entrance gate and throughout the development 24 hrs a day. We are fully registered with the Lanzarote authorities for letting. The villa is very similar to other James Villas on the development but without the price. Equipped and furnished to a very high standard in a private development it is ideal for two families.The villa consists of a spacious lounge and dining area beautifully furnished with Wi-Fi throughout. Smart enabled 40" Flat screened TV provides BBC 1, 2+4, ITV, Channel 4+5, RTE 1+2, and Sky News plus additional channels. CD stereo, Ipod docking station, DVD player, Playstation 2. Cot and highchair included. There are large patio doors leading directly onto the terrace for alfresco dining with large wicker table and chairs, barbeque, and sunloungers. The beautiful pool area has a high degree of privacy is not overlooked and the garden planted with cacti, palm trees and tropical plants.There is a full size outdoor table tennis table for our younger guests and more energetic older guests!

About Julie Brassill

I currently work part time on a busy surgical ward as a Staff Nurse. My husband is a practising GP. We all love the outdoor life playing tennis, golf and hockey. Our sons Sean and Alex are working in business and Sophie our daughter is at Leeds University studying Psychology. We also have Cara our beautiful Golden Retriever. We have been visiting Lanzarote for the last 25 years and love the all year round climate. We particularly love Playa Blanca for its wonderful beaches and upmarket feel. The standard of cuisine is excellent, we really enjoy visiting the various restaurants and eating outside on balmy evenings.

Why Julie Brassill chose Yaiza

We fell in love with our villa because it is so large and spacious, and the pool and garden area just wonderful. The majority of the rooms look onto the pool and garden area and the large windows throw light into the villa bringing the garden indoors. The pool area is south facing and the patio is extended to the west of the property allowing optimal sunbathing. We really enjoy the villa because it affords us our own space, even when our friends stay with us and we have home from home facilities. We love the fact that it is so secure being in the gated complex and private on the estate, not overlooked offering peace and tranquillity with wonderful mountain views and yet has everything on its doorstep.

What makes this villa unique

We bought the villa originally for ourselves but then being tied to school holidays we have successfully rented out for the last 12 years. We are very experienced villa owners and have many repeat guests our reviews are excellent. We eventually plan to semi-retire here avoiding the cold winters at home and look forward to being able to accommodate our large English and Irish family and friends.

We all had a wonderful holiday and very much enjoyed the villa - perfect for two families. The villa had everything and more. Great to have the Wi Fi and extensive TV package. I can't think of anything that could have made our holiday more enjoyable.



Thank you Julie, the villa was more than expected, so large it comfortably accommodated our three generations of family. It was clean and well equipped with a very large garden and pool area, lovely and private.



We had a great time in Playa Blanca. It's the first time we have come home discussing when we could return. The villa was so lovely and quiet and we really enjoyed the privacy.



Absolutely loved the pool and garden area, the warm crystal clear water kept my water babes happy even on the odd cloudy day!

Notes on accommodation: Set in a secure coded private development, the villa has high ceilings and is airy and spacious.Three bathrooms enables a quick transition for the evenings out. Two families can stay at opposite ends of the villa for privacy. Outside: South facing, completely private gated and walled tropical garden with extensive terracing and barbeque area. Ideally positioned for sunshine all day long, with shaded terrace area for those who prefer. Five rooms overlook the pool terrace and garden area. 32 sq.m., large electrically heated pool, with romanesque style steps and a shallower end for the little ones. Outdoor shower. Wicker and wooden dining table and chairs. Charcoal barbecue. Eight reclining sunloungers, two benches. There is also a full size table tennis table and extended west patio area for ball games. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Quality towels, tea towels, and white cotton bed linen are included during your stay. Towels are changed mid-week. For a two week stay all linen is replaced and a mid stay clean is undertaken. Please enquire if beach towels are needed. Other: The villa is tastefully decorated with matching oak furniture and colour co-ordinated furnishings, cutlery and crockery throughout. Additional put up bed if required.

Lovely clean spacious villa, would definitely recomend.

We arrived to the luxury villa to find it very clean and spacious, the outside area was an added bonus, with a secret garden at the top, where you can sit and relax. Would definitely recommend, there was 8 adults and plenty of room. Highly recommended the walk up the mountain behind. Thanks again Julie for renting us your lovely villa.

Well equipped, spacious and comfortable.

Blackrock Villa was a good base for our stay. The small children loved the pool and we were able to have plenty of good family time, yet get away for a rest when necessary.

It was not an easy walk into the town but there is a bus and if you have a car you soon find your way around.

Great holiday

This was a great property. Perfect for 2 families. Lots of room inside and out lovely pool and good location about 25 minute walk to the port and restaurants or a very short taxi ride only 4 euros each way. Highly recommend. We loved the three legged cat who pops in to visit from next door. Thank you Julie

Excellent strongly recommend this villa thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish

When we arrived it was very welcoming to find a pack of food necessities including a nice bottle of wine. The villa was spotless and maintained to a high standard. The pool and surrounding area likewise was kept in pristine condition. The cleaning ladies who kept the villa in a perfect state were very pleasant likewise the gardener and pool maintenance man also very pleasant. The villa owner left us with precise instructions regarding entry to the villa etc and suggestions for places to eat and shop which was very helpful. Overall our stay was most enjoyable and absolutely no negativity with regard to the villa or the resort.. Will certainly consider a holiday there again in the future without hesitation

Perfect family holiday at Villa Blackrock

Stayed at the villa from 8th to 15th September, 3 couples and a 8 month baby.

Hired cars from autoreisen from the airport and followed the directions given by the owner Julie, arrived st the villa and instantly realised that we had made the right choice. The secluded pool area was perfect, we opted for it to be heated due to my granddaughter coming with us.

Everything in the villa was perfect. Would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would happily stay here again if we decided to do another family holiday in Lanzarote.

First class accommodation in a great location.

We had a lovely time at Villa Blackrock, which provides an excellent base in Playa Blanca to enjoy Lanzarote. Comfortable beds & a well equipped kitchen made it feel like a home from home.

Only a tricky to open kettle and a shower curtain rail that likes to fall from its position above the bath proved to be minor inconveniences.

We would definitely recommend the property to other families.

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach: All three beaches have lifeguards and white sands.

The property is just a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest beaches, Playa Flamingo and the Town beach. Flamingo beach is popular with families as there are good facilities nearby and safe swimming and the Town beach is close to shops and restaurants very atmospheric in the evenings. A 3 minute drive will bring you to Playa Dorado Beach good for water sports. A 5 minute drive will take you to the Marina. Just a 10 minute drive from the villa you will find the beautiful area of Papagayo with natural beaches and ideal for sunbathing and snorkelling.

Travel:

Arrecife Airport is just a 30 minute drive from the villa. Car hire is recommended though not essential. Taxi rank available at the bottom of the road.

Distances:

Nearest supermarket 5 minute walk. Hotel opposite, 5 minute walk with restaurant facilities and tennis courts for hire. Playa Blanca village is a delight with superb restaurant choices, just a 20 minute walk or a 3 minute drive from the villa. There is a taxi rank and bus stop outside the estate with buses every 30 mins accesssing all of the resort area. Taxis cost 3-4 euros to village.

Further Details:

Playa Blanca is a wonderfully vibrant fishing village and has a fabulous promenade to amble along stretching over 5km from the lighthouse to the Marina. It enjoys the most wonderful views of Fuerterventura, with opportunities to observe the beaches, and enjoy the restaurants and shops, along the way. Bike hire is available. Regular dive centres along the coast offer PADI courses. Crazy golf. Tennis. Fishing. Boat trips all available. Only 18 available weeks left for 2018.
To secure your booking, a deposit of 25% (non-refundable) should be paid and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. We also collect a £100 breakages deposit fully refundable in the event that no damage has been incurred. The pool can be heated if requested for a nominal charge. Please note there is a minimum charge during the peak holiday periods.

We remain flexible and will do our best to accommodate your holiday request dates.

Notes on prices:
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds and are based on 6 people - there is an additional charge for each extra person per week of £63 - £87. Payment can be accepted also in Euros. At peak times there is a minimum fee charged per week to rent our villa.
