Situated in the quiet region of El Carmoli, this three bed roomed semi detached villa is an ideal family retreat. With the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor some 200m away, watersports, golf, go-karting, and horse-riding within easy reach,this villa caters for a variety of needs. Situated 20 minutes from Murcia (San Javier) Airport and 45 minutes from Alicante Airport, - 3km from the lovely resort of Los Alcazares, with its numerous shops and restaurants, the villa offers a tranquil family retreat or an ideal base to discover the area by car.

The accommodation is set on two levels with a spacious sun roof solarium offering beautiful sea views. The villa boasts one double bedroom with en suite, two twin bedrooms, a family shower room, and cloakroom on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and fridge freezer, open plan lounge/diner with TV, and a good size patio with table and chairs.

Notes on accommodation: The villa benefits from underfloor heating and boasts a rooftop solarium with beautiful sea views. There is no smoking in the villa. Outside: Patio areas are situated outside the lounge area, the main bedroom, and the pool area. The pool itself is 8m by 4m. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and lined are provided. Extra cleaning can be arranged locally.

The pool makes this house

You will not regret choosing this property , it is clean , fairly modern with good outside space and a decent sized pool . It is within a very spanish village which is on the quiet side so teenagers may not have much to do. There is 1 restaurant , a traditional bar (very good value) and a few small grocery stores. You need a car as the buses were infrequent but it is a good place to explore the area such as La Manga as close (5 min drive) to the motorway.

The only minor point was the lack of wifi - the kids missed this but also I did as well for looking at things to do , where to go etc. The house would have had 5 stars if it had wifi.

I was very impressed with the house as I was worried that as it was good value for the week that this would be reflected in the property. Thankfully I was worrying about nothing and we had a lovely week in the sun . I would recommend this house to anyone who is able to get up stairs/steps.

Excellent place to stay!

Very attractive, excellent views from all windows. Villa was very clean and well appointed the swimming pool was beautiful and certainly well used during our stay. I would certainly recommend the property and will hopeful be returning next year - many thanks.

We enjoyed our stay at your villa very much. The pool was very welcome and well serviced.

The villa was clean and welcoming within walking distance of the sea. The town is only a short drive away and there is a very good restaurant just behind the villa with plenty more in Los Alcazares along with several supermarkets.

Great location

The villa its self is very clean and spacious- big enough for 8 people. There are 2 bathrooms- (1 en suite)- and a toilet downstairs. The Kitchen is very clean and modern but it is not very well equipped- e.g. no teapot! The ironing board was filthy and looked like it had been taken out of a skip. The pool was amazing and more than big enough- don't be put off that it is on the road side- it is so quiet that no one passes. The pool loungers were filthy and the covers for them were unuseable- again out of a skip! The grounds of the Villa were very unkept with peeling paint every where. A very unsafe set of steps to and from the front door with no hand rail are very unsafe for children and elderly.

On the plus side- the location is great for the beach which is literally 5 mins walk- it is very spanish and clearly used by the locals- no rowdy tourists. The villa is very close to the airport and the shopping centre is a 10 min drive away. The area where the villa is situated is very lovely and super quiet. The neighbours are very Spanish and the local bakers van delivers fresh bread mid morning every day.

We had a great holiday at the villa but it is clear that the owners have not been to visit for a while as it does need attention outside. Given this attention it would be worth the money.On that subject it is not a luxury Villa- and it is a bit of a con having to pay 30 euros for the fans as there is no air conditioning!

The lady who opened up for us was really helpful. The owner needs to upgrade or loss business- it wouldn't take much.

Owner's Response: In response we would like to say that we are happy that you had a great holiday and found our villa to be clean and spacious and were able to make full use of the’ amazing’ pool. With regard to the ironing board and sun lounger covers they were apparently left in the utility area which is partly open to the elements. They have been replaced and in future all holiday makers will be asked to ensure that they are kept inside. The teapot must have been broken at some point and this was not brought to our attention. Although there have never been any complaints from other families with young children, and we have had a number of repeat bookings, we do intend to add railings to the stairs during the off peak season. Likewise the walls surrounding the garden are due to be repainted during the winter months-but this should not detract from any enjoyable stay.
