Luxury apartment located in a peaceful private resort only 7km from Ciutadela Town. Very nice sea views and to a beautiful lighthouse. Big communal swimming pool and gardens, parking. Only 10 minutes walk to the supermarkets and Marina with all services (restaurants, bars, pubs, chemistry, diving schools, boat rentals etc). Only 10 minutes walk to the famous calas (beaches) Son Xoriguer and Cala n Bosch. Lovely apartment with air conditioning, central heating and fully and totally refurbished in 2012. Ideal for couples with or without children. No pets or mascots allowed. Nice walks around the area for "romantic sunsets" (the best ones you will never see from Menorca with Majorca Island at the background...you have to see it!). The best apartment in the area for the most relaxing holidays. The complete resort has been also totally refurbished between 2010 and 2014 with big investment from all the neighbours to be sure all is perfect. Garden area is a beauty, also new swimming pool and parking area!!

I am a person that loves the relaxing times after months of hard work and I did choose Menorca many years ago as my best place to find the peace and relax we all need from time to time. One day there is like 10 days any other place...you charge your batteries there and that's an incredible feeling...and you always want more, that's why many of our guests keep coming year after year, and friends...hope you share this with me and it will be a pleasure to look after you, your family or friends at our property, hoping you will find the same as I do when I have the time to be there. We did book this property to spend a few days of relax on this wonderful Island.The complex where it is allocated is very paceful and very well looked after...and very peaceful...just what we were looking for...the property is very cute and has all necessary to make your life good during your holiday.Its location is simply perfect as it is just 2 minutes walk to all the services you may need ( chemistry, supermarkets that close late at night, bar, restaurants, boat trips, car and bike hire, boat rentals, etc, etc).

Beach is only 5 mins walk and 2 mins by car, and we do highly recommend Son Xoriguer beach ( so beautiful turquose waters....omg!! want to be back!!) and Cala N Bosch, but also you have main Calas at 10 mins drive as Macarelleta ( very famous place!!) , Turqueta , Son Saura, etc. and Ciutadella Town only 5 mins drive...

Best sunsets of the Island just round the corner in the Cap de Artrutx lighthouse...incredible landscapes with the Mallorca Island and sun coming down...simply great!! You will have a good time here and we do highly recommend this property and owners and landlady are beautiful people too!!

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment situated just outside the main marina only 10 mins walk away. Lovely beaches close by and supermarkets within easy reach. The apartment is well looked after and is as described on the advert. The sea view is amazing the pictures don't do it justice as the tree blocking the view in the picture is a lot taller now so let's you see straight out to sea. The apartment is very well equipped and has every thing you will need. It is also very clean. The pool and grounds are very well looked after and it is very piece full. Richard and Sonia are very help full with answering any questions prior to your arrival or whilst you are on your Holiday. We couldn't have asked for more. We enjoyed it that much we are going to rebook for next year. Thanks to Richard for a superb stay

Wonderful stay , plenty of positive energy!!

Me and my girlfriend spent one week in October on this lovely apartament and complex, we were very lucky with the weather, very sunny and quite hot still , and we did swim every day on the lovely swimming pool area surrounded for a great and well looked after ( gardener every day there in the mornings) garden area surrounding whole complex.

Sea views from the apartament terrace are just "idilic" with the lighthouse and the sea right in front of you...at night...so peaceful times with the lighthouse on...honestly, best place!

Also , you have at walking distance the Marina of Cala N Bosch, with ALL you need to have a very relax stay ( supermarkets, restaurants, bars, quemistry, bus stop, and loads of activities to do there , boat trips, and so on...also a waterpark for children very nice called "Goody Goody")

We did go three nights to Ciutadella town at only 10 mins drive from the property ( 7kms) and there is also a bus stop at the back of the complex where they will take you anywhere around the island , one bus every 20 mins aprox. in October.

We did have the chance to visit Cala Macarella, and Macarelleta ( one of the 7 best beaches in the world been told) wich is only 15 mins drive too , and there are many around like Son Saura ( so beautiful too...) , Cala N Bosch and Son Xoriguer ( these last 2 at only 5/10 mins walking distance from property) , Cala Morell, Algaiarens...you will not get bored, I promise!

We do highly recommend this lovely property wich has EVERYTHING to charge your "batteries" and make you think to come back again as soon as possible...we will be back for sure, thanks Richard for such a lovely time.

Lovely sea views, great property and complex!

Me , and my wife and our two young children stood on this lovely ( totally refurbished last year were told by owner) property allocated in a beatiful complex right in front of the sea.Property has ALL the needs to cover until 4 people, with 2 bedrooms ( 1 big bed and second with 2 beds very comfy to sleep only but more than enough we were looking for, as long as a nice sofa bed on linving room) , very well sorted and with plenty of kitchen things for cooking for 6 people with no problems.

Terrace views are just wonderful...only 30 metres to sea waterfront and with a private entrance to the sea for first thing in the morning!!

Also is very quite complex and only 2 mins walk distance to the Marina with all services there to make your stay very comfy.

Cala´s are also at walking distance ( Cala N Bosch and Son Xoriguer sandy both) and you have main town ( Ciudadela) at only 10 mins drive ( 7kms aprox from property).

We highly recommend this property and owner was very helpful with information on what to see and to do during our stay.

Air Con not allowed at night

Air Con is an essential requirement for us to fully enjoy our holiday so I carefully chose this apartment for that reason. Only upon arrival did we discover that its use after 21.30 is banned because the noise disturbs the neighbours. After a very uncomfortable first night we found alternative accommodation nearby and informed the owner that we would not be staying. We felt the description of the accommodation was misleading.

However, in addition I would point out the following:- There was no kettle, the saucepan we had to use to boil water had a wobbly handle and was very worn and old, there was a used cotton bud in the bin, a cigarette end on the balcony, a brown stained toilet bowl, no toilet paper, there were no instructions for TV which did not appear to be working, the shower was little more than a trickle.

On the plus side there is a lovely view from the balcony and the great resort of Cala 'n Bosch is within walking distance.

Sadly, the owner did not answer the phone when I rang, has not responded to any of my emails and has offered no apology or refund.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear this complain from these guests, wich being honest these persons were not polite at the arrival date with our lovely Landlady, they were in bad mode with her.The air conditioning that it is at our property works very well but after nearly 10 years we did fit the machine , 90% of the guests have never used it as the property has a very nice allocation in front of the sea that with the terrace window and the bedroom window open the seabreeze is so nice thar hardly air con required. Anyway, these guests used the air conditioning "24H" a day since they did arrive...even spending all day long out of the property, the machine was "on" and the neighbours below did complain as they say the guests leaving the property in the morning and returning in afternoons...while the machine was "on" all day long....not having any respect for the neighbours and for the owner ( myself) to pay a "nice bill"...the other issues on cleaning mentioned...no comments at all...as our landlady and myself do always our very best to keep the property in best conditions on each arrival, we are not a "5 star" hotel of course...but we do our very best all the time...and these comments are not going to be commented at all...simply are not right...our lovely property is allocated in one of the Menorca nicest, quitest and best areas...as our complex is lovely too...and hope everybody that comes to our property spends the best time of Menorca.

Location

From the Owner

This property is perfect for holidays, because even in peak seasons, you do not realize at all as the complex is so quite that you do not get disturbed at all for car noises, etc, etc. Also, you have Marina Cala N Bosch just 5 minutes walk from there and you have all the things you do need during the day (bar, restaurants, water sports, water park for children, hire boats for a great day out going from Cala to Cala on your own...I do recommend this at least once in a lifetime, etc.) and during the night (pubs, restaurants for real romantic dinners...etc, etc). The complex also is allocated in one of the best areas from the Island and you have right in front the Cap D´Artrutx lighthouse which is a nice place to be at the Sunset with Mallorca at the background...very romantic..

Nearest Airport : mahon at 40 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Ciutadella at 7 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Marina Cala N Bosch at 350 Metres Nearest Beach : Cala N Bosch at 700 Metres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

Next to the apartment resort, you will find the Cala N Bosch Marina where you can find all sort of activities for adults and children (snorkeling, diving schools, boat rentals, etc) and on Cala N Bosch itself, you have a Water Sports centre to hire windsurf, water skiing, one day small boats rentals for friends, or family, etc.

Also, if you like horses, next to Ciutadella there are several Hypic Centres to hire horses for nice beach walkarounds... lovely in summer when sun in going down...

Coast/Beach:

Next to the apartment resort, you will find the Cala N Bosch Marina.

Travel:

Nearest airport is Mahon (the only one in the Island of Menorca) to 45kms from the apartment. Hire car is recommended, however there is a bus service from the airport direct to Cap D'Artrutx wich takes about 1h aprox from the airport to the apartment area (the bus stop is only 10 minutes walk to the apartment).

Distances:

Nearest town is Ciudadela, 7kms. You can hire a push bike, or you can hire a car to move around the island during your stay. You can hire cars in the airport directly or from your end, before, to avoid any nasty surprises. In High Season, sometimes Hire car companies do "short" on the number of cars, so please make sure you get yours to avoid any problems.

Further Details:

As mentioned before, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, children centres in the Marina next to the apartment, but also, I do recommend a visit to the Town of Ciudadela and "get lost" on its lovely and narrow centre old streets with lots and lots of history and its beautiful people, always with a smile in their faces for you... happy people! Ciudadela is worth to visit, you will not regret. Promise.

  • Outside: Community swimming pool is about 25 metres long by 10 metres wide and gardens are about 2000 sq.m, very well looked after by a permanent gardener. Next to the swimming pool there is a sunbathing area with sunbeds, chairs and tables where you can organise dinners, lunches, barbecues, etc. Please note the swimming pool has been totally made brand new in 2008, so now it looks even better than before! You can swim and sunbathing overlooking the sea views with the lovely lighthouse in front of you listening the seawaves breaking against the cliffs right in front of the complex... what else you need? Utility Room: Iron board with iron machine and two japanese "tatamis" very comfortable for summer "siestas". Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the prices. Apartment is cleaned at the beginning and at the end of each stay. Other: The apartment has got a nice terrace (8 sq.metres) with teak floor and sunshade to avoid the direct sun, if you wish. Fitted with a teak table for 6 people and 6 teak chairs. Beautiful sea views...and overlooking the garden area and swimming pool.
