About the Owner

We are a Married Couple from Southern Ireland. We own this Villa since 2007. It was always our dream to own a Villa in Spain and once we saw this one we knew it had to be it!

The Views from the Villa are stunning and can be seen from every room. It has sunshine from early morning to late evening so the terraces are always a Sun Trap.

We spend many holidays there with family and friends and we are still discovering the delights of the area.

This is a very special part of Spain,relatively unspoilt but so close to all necessary amenities.

The immediate area in Cap de La Nau has so many attractions,Granadella Beach,Portichol and the many walks around Cap Prim. And this is without leaving Cap de La Nau.

The main beach in the Arenal is wonderful and there are so many excellent restaurants

Une vue extraordinaire, à couper le souffle ...

La Casa Lucia est un petit paradis, c'est pour cela que nous y sommes revenus en 2016 (même époque qu'en 2015).

Le lieu est calme, avec une vue extraordinaire, à couper le souffle.

Les plages de proximité (Granadella, Ambollo) confèrent au lieu un atout indéniable.

L'intérieur de la maison est très joliment décoré et comporte de beaux espaces de vie.

Les ventilateurs au plafond dans chaque pièce donnent un supplément de confort en cas de grosse chaleur.

L'équipement de la cuisine est adapté et l'électro-ménager en parfait état (manque une cafetière électrique, la machine à piston ne donne pas du bon café)

L'accès internet est parfait.

La piscine est propre et la maintenance deux fois par semaine est suffisante.

L'espace "barbecue" est très bien équipé, disposant d'eau chaude et froide, d'une arrivée de gaz et de tout le nécessaire aux grillades.

Les informations laissées à disposition tant sur la villa que sur le site de Javéa et Dénia sont précieuses et ajoutent une attention particulière aux résidents.

Les services rendus par Vanessa (si un problème survient) sont précieux et son amabilité est sans défaut, même si l'on ne peut communiquer qu'en anglais.

En dehors du vent de mer qui souffle parfois un peu fort, le cadre de nos vacances à la Casa Lucia nous a régalés, reposés, dynamisés.

On y reviendra en 2017 avec plaisir

Great stay in Casa Lucia

In a well regarded residential area with stunning views over the ocean Casa Lucia is a great villa to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing break, this is our second stay at the villa and would thoroughly recommend. With a warm and knowledgeable welcome from both the owner and the couple managing the villa, great customer service all round.

Wonderful Villa

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful Villa.

The Views from the terraces and from inside the Villa are just stunning.

We were welcomed by Sandie&Dave who were so helpful.

The Villa is extremely well equipped.

It is in a peaceful location and yet is so near Javea and the lovely Granadella

Location

From the Owner

Javea and the surrounding area is a very special part of Spain. The beaches are smaller and relatively quiet. The restaurants and bars are excellent quality and value for money It is a very family friendly area and there really is something to please everybody. Benidorm with all its Theme parks etc is only 30 minutes away and Valencia and Alicante just an hour. We are constantly finding new delights in the area and always knowing we can come back to our wonderful Villa. It is so peaceful in the immediate area...only the birds and the waves breaking in Granadella Beach make noise!

Coast/Beach:

The main Javea beach and promenade is a 10 mins drive. A long sandy beach bounded with numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. The Port area is also within easy reach and again has many shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful Granadella beach is in the next cove and is about 5 mins by car. This is a beautiful place to relax or swim and have a meal or snack.Cap de la Nau is an area with spectacular views and Beaches all within minutes of the Villa. Moraria, Calpe and Denia are within easy reach

Travel:

Javea is roughly equidistant from Valencia to the north and Alicante to the south. Its takes approx 80 mins from Valencia and 65 mins from Alicante to drive. San Javier airport in Murcia is approx. 2 hours drive. Car hire is essential.

Distances:

Moraira, a beautiful fishing village, is approx 15 mins by car. Calpe with wonderful beaches and restaurants is approx 25 mins by car. Denia is 20 mins north. Benidorm, 30 mins drive away, despite its reputation is an active place to visit offering great beaches, boat excursions, Theme Parks and Water Parks, Shopping and all manner of other activities. It also provides excellent night time entertainment. Javea is approx 80 mins on the motorway from Valencia a beautiful Spanish city to enoy.

Further Details:

There is a Mini-Market within walking distance of the villa (approx 20 mins). Saladar Supermarket is approx 2 miles from the villa and has everything necessary. Mercadona Supermarket is located in Javea and is ideal for big shopping. Numerous banks exist 5 mins drive.

The whole area is vibrant with top quality restaurants. The nearest being 0.6 miles away, the best being 0.8 miles. There are a number of excellent restaurants in the immediate area.Without leaving the Costa Nova area you will find several top quality restaurants catering for quality and value for money. We leave full details of these restaurants in the Villa.For a larger choice you can travel into Javea. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Every taste is catered for and the quality of food and value for money is exceptional. Yacht charter, golf, jet skiing, scuba diving, horse riding, tennis, angling and beautiful scenic walks are all in plentiful supply. There are also some beautiful picnic areas, playgrounds and parks in the area. The Montgo Mountain area is a Nature Reserve and has many walks,treks and spectacular scenery.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking. The balance to be paid eight weeks before the booking starts. In addition to the balance a £150 per week security deposit is also asked for which will be returned within 10 days of your arrival home subject to no serious damage occurring at the villa during your stay. When central heating is necessary a nominal charge will be made based on usage.
A cot and high chair are available at an extra cost.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are normally Saturdays however, this can be flexible out of the peak summer months. The villa must be vacated by 10am to enable to the cleaning staff to clean the villa for the next booking. Arrival times no earlier than 4pm.

Notes on prices:
Prices shown are per week in UK Pounds. Price includes weekly linen and towel change. Flexible bookings, outside of July/August, are charged at daily rate. Discounts offered for long Winter lets. There will be a charge for central heating during Winter months based on usage.

The Views from our Villa are truly spectacular. From early morning to sunset the colours over the sea and the surrounding cliffs are amazing. You never look at it twice and see the same picture! The colours change constantly and of course the fishing and pleasure boats are another attraction. We have on occasion seen Dolphins, Our Swimming pool is large by modern standards10x5 M and is excellently maintained. Even from the pool you can enjoy the views over the Med! We have been extremely lucky to have a wonderful UK Couple look after our Villa and our Guests since 2007. They meet our Guests on arrival,show them around and are a phone call away if there is a proble. They maintain the Villa to a very high standard and make sure our standards are very high.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The Villa has oil fired central heating which is extremely efficient. There is also a log burning stove in the Living Room which is very easy to use and provides wonderful heat and adds a cozy feel. Because of the elevated position of the villa it benefits from pleasant breezes from the sea which are most welcome during the Summer months. In the Winter months it is cosy and well served by the Central Heating and the Log Burning fire. For the safety of small children we have installed lockable gates to prevent access to pool and pool steps and also to the stairwell. However, the villa is situated on an elevated plot and may not be suitable for children under 10 years old. Pictures of every aspect of the villa can be obtained via a digital photo album which can be emailed directly to you. Outside: The Villa has a garden to the side and 3 patios/terraces. The pool area and terraces are not overlooked and afford maximum privacy. There is a covered Naya (outdoor terrace) just outside the lounge/kitchen area which is ideal for dining al fresco or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views over the Med. There is a dining table and chairs in this area as well as reclining chairs. There are sun loungers, reclining chairs, single chairs and lounging chairs on the pool terrace. There is an outdoor kitchen offering a sink with hot and cold running water, a BBQ and paella gas ring. There is a dining area with a luxury table and chairs here also and again there are wonderful views of the coastline from this dining terrace. The pool is 10m x 5m and can be illuminated at night. The views from the pool terrace and the pool itself are wonderful. There is total privacy on the pool terrace. We have off road parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A meet and greet service is provided on arrival. Towels and linen are included as is weekly linen and towel change. Beach towels are not provided. We provide a hair dryer.
