A lovely cottage, close to all amenities

  • 5 of 5

We had a comfortable stay with our pooch. The cottage was great, very clean and tidy. The views were awesome. The place with its garden is great for dogs. There's plenty to do in the area, wonderful walks along the beach and of course up to St Michael's Mount.

A wonderful winter holiday

  • 4 of 5

We had a fantastic stay in Little Trevara with our 2 dogs this November.

The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay with great views to see from the lounge.

Our Pick Up could not get down the lane to park but this was no big issue as we were aware of the restrictions before hand so parked on the road to unload and then left the car in the village centre.

Good walks locally and lots of pubs for evening.

Excellent base

Great holidays in a nice cottage with gorgeous sea views

  • 5 of 5

We - that is my husband, me and our Australian Shepherd - enjoyed two lovely weeks exploring Cornwall during a period of sunny weather - lucky us! - always coming "home" to this very nice cottage after a long day out . It is situated in the small town of Marazion, so many shops are in walking distance. To reach the South West Coast Path you have to walk briskly for 10-15 minutes or you get acces over the beach, which is 3 min. away. From the spacious balcony, one can look at the sea and remember the day. The kitchen equipment is complete - we didn´t miss a thing. The Lady who cares for the cottage is very nice and helpful. The property was absolutely clean and well-maintained. And - good if you want to bring children or a pet: It is enclosed, so no one can get away (if you close the doors) :-)

For the workoholis and surfoholics: The WIFI is excellent!

We can only recommend this cottage!

seaside bliss

  • 5 of 5

This is a superb location , uninterrupted ocean views and pubs , restaurants and pubs a few hundred meters away along with a grocery store and ATM .The cottage is very well equipped and cozy and other than the welcome noise of the Herring Gulls and Jackdaws silent . The owner was very keen to ensure we were comfortable and provided for and we did feel completely welcome . It is placed right in the centre of all the best spots , Cape Cornwall is a must see . We with some careful attention managed to get our Audi Q5 down the access lane without mishap .We will without a doubt return , it was authentic and the real Cornwall .

Owner's Response: Delighted that you so enjoyed your stay, the area has so much to offer and we would welcome you back with open arms. Brilliant driving to get such a big car down Praeds Lane but it shows it can be done!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Great Cornish village house, fantastic, dramatic sea view from open plan kitchen/diner/lounge and elevated terrace. Excellent location in Marazion, easy walk to village, really good pub food and Ben's Kitchen was a surprising bonus - high-end London quality food/service (we went twice), must book. Coastline in Cornwall and particularly this area is spectacular. Took our dog and she was welcome everywhere which makes life easier and relaxing.

House delivered everything as promised, we could not ask for anything more!

Recommend to anyone who loves this part of the world and anyone who has not tried it.

St Michael's Mount in Marazion is the jewel in Cornwall's crown and is a prime coastal location situated in Mounts Bay which sweeps from Lizard Point to Land's End. The old market town of Marazion offers many amenities : shops, pubs, art galleries, sailing club, wind and kite surfing, bird watching and one of the safest sandy beaches in Cornwall.

A five minutes car journey brings you to the bustling town of Penzance and a further 20 minutes you arrive at Lands End with some of the most spectacular beaches and rugged cliffs. This coast is seeped in history, ship wrecks and dramatic mine chimneys standing out on the sky line.

The quaint village of Moushole with its spell binding Christmas lights and the theatrical setting of the Minnack Theatre, built high on the cliff rocks looking out to sea, are a short distance drive, whilst the world renowned Eden Project is 45 minutes away. Stunning coastal walks and beautiful gardens are all close at hand for wonderful days out.
