Position, position, position

Basic apartment but clean, perfect position, great views, in centre of shops & restaurants and easy transport links. No need to hire a car - took the bus to Palma for a bit of sight seeing & shopping, also to Puerto Andrax for a bit of people watching! Cheap to eat out in Santa Ponsa so we ate out every night and just needed to use the kitchen for breakfast, snacks and Cava. Would use again which is rare for us! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a lazy, cheap and cheerful beach holiday.

Wonderful apartment

We stayed here for a short brake, the apartment was exactly as described in the advertisement both in the description and pictures. When we arrived the apartment was clean and very well presented furniture and goods showed no signs of wear or age. From the initial enquiry to the day we arrived the owner was extremely helpful and answered e-mails and calls without delay. They were honest and caring at all times.If any family or friends ever think of going to Mallorca we would recommend this apartment and the owners without any hesitation.

Top Notch!!

Just returned from our holiday at this wonderful apartment in Santa Ponsa, we are a mature couple with a 9yr old grandaughter, so needed something special to meet all our needs, this place certainly did that!! The description and photo's of the property given are very accurate, in fact, the property was everything we could ask for and more, as well as being spotlessly clean!! Right form the start, with booking the apartment, Christine and her husband were so welcoming and answered all our questions, nothing was too much trouble! There was nothing more we could have asked for, it was like home from home, which made our first time on this kind of holiday a really successful time. We would say the apartment ticked all the boxes for us, the bed was cmfortable, and our grandaughter who slept in the bunk bed in the room with us was no problem, in fact, it probably made her feel much more secure in her first time abroad with us. Everything you needed for day to day living was available, and to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy such a lovely view was brilliant in leaving us feeling chilled and relaxed, with more than a few nights spent with a nice glass of wine and playing dominoes with our 9yr old. The secure access was great, lifts worked all the time. A great location, with lots of eating places to choose from to suit everyone's budget, 2 mins to the beautiful beach and lots of supermarkets within minutes walk. Santa Ponsa is an ideal area for all, with something for everyone. Best restaurants are definately the Xaloc, immediately below the apartment, great price for set menu, 11 euros, amazing food, great service and the Royal Garden, just before 'THE SQUARE', lovely meal and great friendly service here. The square has great free entertainment each night, with something for the children and adults alike, definitely worth the 10 min walk uphill for the entertainment and good drink prices. Also would recommend a boat trip round Santa Ponsa bay, a trip to Palma, old town, Andratx for the market and then on by bus to Andratx marina. All by bus, which are every 15 mins and a great price too! Brilliant, amazing time had by all 3 of us, made extra special by having such a lovely place to stay, thanks Christine, we cannot say enough about your lovely apartment, now booking again for next year and several years to come I should think!!. Would recommend this apartment and Santa Ponsa to everyone, especially young families and mature couples as well

Coast/Beach:

The main beach is approx 150m from the apartment block, this is a large family friendly beach which is fringed by a small pine forest, it has a play area at one end and clear shallow waters for swimming, there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols. There is also a very pretty beach about 15 minutes walk towards the marina.

Travel:

The apartment complex is 25 mins drive from Palma airport. Car hire is not essential, a taxi costs approx 50 euros from the airport to the apartment complex. Buses run regularly from the resort to all parts of the island, including Palma.

Distances:

10 mins by bus or car to 2 Water Parks, 25 mins to Palma by bus or car. Nearest supermarket is 100m from the apartment complex.

Further Details:

Santa Ponsa is a lively resort which attracts a wide variety of people, mainly families, golfers and couples. The apartment is 2 mins walk to the beach, and only 5 mins walk to the resort centre where you will find lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Evening time is especially nice for a stroll and a bite to eat in the many outdoor restaurants.

For diving enthusiasts, there are first class dive schools, that come reccomened by previous guests. For cyclists, it is perfect as there are many exellent cycle paths and routes.

  • Notes on accommodation: There are lifts to all floors and it is a secure apartment complex. Please note that the apartment is non smoking. The apartment is part of a very clean, and well maintained complex. Air-conditioning, and central heating for the winter months. Please note, this apartment must be vacated by 10am and arrivals from 3pm. Thank you. Outside: There is a large shared swimming pool, which has a children's section, plus a shaded area, ideal for protecting small children from the sun. There is also plenty of room for sunbathing, in the larger section of the pool area, this area is a sun trap! Utility Room: Utility room has a sink, iron/ironing board and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen : Clean bed linen is provided once, free of charge and the beds will be made up for your arrival (2 bath towels will be provided per person, and for all 2 week bookings towels and linen will be changed once mid holiday free of charge).please bring beach/tea towels: Private balcony with a table and four chairs, sea views.
