Very nice cottage
We wanted the feel of England and a place that had character. We loved the three bedroom cottage and the views. We really enjoyed the town of Marazion as well. We ate at the Kingsarm every night but you can't get in without reservations.
Trevara is a beautiful, characterful cottage. A lot bigger than expected and in a perfect setting with views over to St Michael's Mount. Only a few minutes walk into the small town with a few lovely shops and some great places to eat, we particularly enjoyed the food at the Godolphin. A very child and dog friendly place with a gorgeous beach, we enjoyed every minute of our stay over the new year. The cottage has everything you need, it's like home from home and the Xmas decorations were lovely. Thank you
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. Marazion is a charming town and the house is easy walking distance from everything. The house had plenty of space for our entire family and the recently updated master bathroom was gorgeous.
The only tiny critique I had was the information book. It possibly could have contained more information about the house.. such as the spare key, how to work the oven, that there was WIFI (which we didn't expect, but noticed in the corner of the master bedroom). These are really very minor details, and certainly nothing that detracted from our enjoyment of the property. When you can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over St. Michael's Mount do small details really matter? :)
Fantastic place to stay
What a great holiday we have had. The property was amazing with views from the grounds ans balcony out toward st Michael's mount. A great place to relax and explore Cornwall from would highly recommend
A Charming Hideout in Marazion
Having enjoyed several excellent holidays in 'Trevara', we decided to have a change this year and go to 'Little Trevara'. Although presented to the same high standards, this delightful holiday cottage has a style and character all of its own. The kitchen, family area and large terrace on the first floor are arranged to make the very most of the open views over the sea and the imposing St Michaels Mount, while the two bedrooms and bathroom below are relaxing and comfortable. As always there was lots to do in the area, but this time - apart from visiting good pubs, restaurants and gardens - we tended to stay put and just 'chill out' in this lovely, tranquil setting.
An enchanting dream!
This is truly a dream vacation home. The only problem with it is that you will eventually have to leave. The parking was a bit scary the first time but after that, getting in and out was very doable. My other concern had been whether my 6'5" husband would have trouble with the low beams... He did hit his head one time but that was when he was wearing a hat with a brim. Don't wear a brimmed hat in the house and the height of the ceilings isn't a problem. Staying at this home may've been our best vacation ever. Thank you Sally and Janet!
Activity and Interests
St Michael's Mount in Marazion is the jewel in Cornwall's crown and is a prime coastal location situated in Mounts Bay which sweeps from Lizard Point to Land's End. The old market town of Marazion offers many amenities : shops, pubs, art galleries, sailing club, wind and kite surfing, bird watching and one of the safest sandy beaches in Cornwall.
A five minutes car journey brings you to the bustling town of Penzance and a further 20 minutes you arrive at Lands End with some of the most spectacular beaches and rugged cliffs. This coast is seeped in history, ship wrecks and dramatic mine chimneys standing out on the sky line.
The quaint village of Moushole with its spell binding Christmas lights and the theatrical setting of the Minnack Theatre, built high on the cliff rocks looking out to sea, are a short distance drive, whilst the world renowned Eden Project is 45 minutes away. Stunning coastal walks and beautiful gardens are all close at hand for wonderful days out.

- Although old and charming, the cottage offers spacious living space, however because of the age of the property the ceilings are beamed and low so care must be taken in passing through doorways. Trevara is suitable for the elderly but the suitability depends on the agility of the person. There are two staircases and the toilet facilities are upstairs only. The garden is laid to grass and also has 2 stone patios. A table and chairs are provided for outside eating and drinking with lovely views overlooking the bay.
