Villa in Albufeira, Central Algarve - Many Beaches, Just A Few Kilometres Away

Casa Trevi is ideally situated to provide the best of both worlds being part of a small residential estate close to Albufeira town so that if you want a relaxing day then you can stay by the pool or go to one of the several beautiful beaches a short drive away. Approx 1km away is the famous ‘Strip’ that runs from the Montechoro Hotel down to Oura beach with lots of restaurants, bars and entertainment on route. A large comfortable lounge with Satellite TV, karaoke, CD and DVD player, a French window leads to the pool and BBQ garden area. The small garden has 2 orange, 1 lemon, an olive and several almond nut trees plus many flowering shrubs and beautiful bougainvillea on the south facing patio. Many golf courses are within easy reach, Vilamoura, Pine Cliffs, Salgados and Balaia has an interesting & picturesque 9 hole course. Tennis courts are also close by. The new motorway makes Spain less than an hour away and a train just 5 mins from the villa takes you to Lisbon.

Notes on accommodation: Heating in the winter if required is provided by oil storage heaters. A log fire also adds to the ambience. Fully air conditioned and heated on coin meter. Outside: Dining area leads out through French windows to the pool area. Sun loungers and air-beds for the pool are provided and a large BBQ resides next to the pool area. Outside table and chairs provide enjoyable poolside meals. Surrounding the pool are an almond and olive tree and down the wall grape vines. The front garden has 2 orange, 1 lemon and 2 more almond trees. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, hairdryers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels, and linen provided, and changed by English lady living close by.

very nice villa everything you need and lots more.roy and teresa thank you for your help and will see you in 2year as the dates we wanted for 2015 have gone ugh.A little bar at top of the road on left do agoreuos sangria for 5euros tiamaria coke 1.50 we spent alot of time in there as we got abit merry for 12euros.the strip as loads of bars etc,you can walk fromthere to albruferia old town in alf hour.thank you so very much trevour will keep in touch about 2016 love janet x

This really is a home while away :)

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Trevi and it’s the best of both worlds, chilling out round the private pool during the day and at night the famous strip is just a 20 minutes walk down the road. We have had a great time there, the villa is lovely, spacious, clean, the pool is great, lots of loungers.. the kitchen is very well equipped, everything you need should you be cooking as I did a lot of cooking during my stay. There is a washing machine room which is very handy and plenty of storage space & cupboards throughout the whole villa. Also there is internet available plus tv with UK channels. Teresa & Roy who manage the villa are available should you need them for local knowledge.. also the Brazilian bar Ogrillo a few steps away is great and they will ring cabs for you if you ask them to. There's a massive Chinese shop down the road and a shopping centre which sold pretty much all you needed. We usually get a cab to Icelands which was worth stocking up so we only had to go twice in 2 weeks. A taxi back from the strip only 4 euros or to the square in the old town about 7 euros .. if you walk to the strip its only about 20 mins and very enjoyable. We used to walk to Erin's Isle a lot, another great holiday and a big thanks to Trevor the lovely owner.. & looking forward to going back again in july for 3 weeks.

Third time returned to this lovely villa which is just outside the main resort so perfect for both privacy however, within easy reach of the main stip, therefore perfect for a variety of visitors. The Villa is homely and spacious and is kept to a high standard. The neighbours who look after the villa are on hand should there be any problems. I would definately reccomend this property to all types of holiday makers.

About Trevor Wills

My name is Trevor Wills and I bought the Villa with the idea of retiring to it one day. As it is only currently used 3 or 4 times a year due to other commitments I decided to rent and have been letting out now for a few years.

We try and provide everything for your comfort and enjoyment and are always looking to improve.

The Villa is managed by good friends who live close by and are able to pass on local knowledge.

We think that providing everything the visitors require that they will treat the property as they would there own and this has been found to be the case and that is why unlike many other property owners we do not take a damage deposit.

Almost every year we get people re-booking and believe that is a good indicator of the quality we provide.

Why Trevor Wills chose Montechoro

We bought the property in Albufeira because it is a beautiful town with lovely beaches and scenic views.

Casa Trevi is just outside the old town and about 1 km from the famous Strip which leads all the way down to the sea with shops, restaurants and entertainment the whole way.

The Villa is situated on a small quiet residential estate, only 20 properties and is quiet and cosy. It houses a private swimming pool and a discreet South facing large balcony for undisturbed sun bathing. The view of the sun sets are also quite spectacular from the balcony. However just down the road the night life starts with the Montechoro Hotel and runs the length of the strip providing the best of both worlds.

What makes this villa unique

Many guests have commented on the amenities and we always listen and take on board any suggestions and so over the years we believe there is everything provided for your comfort and convenience.

The Villa is conveniently situated just away from the crowds for chilling out but close enough to join in whenever the mood takes you.

The beaches are fairly close, the railway station for a day trip to Lisbon is only 5 minutes away and if you have a car you can reach the Spanish border in about one hour. There are ferries across to Spain costing only one euro.

Albufeira is central Algarve, very beautiful, very clean and the west coast and spectacular surfing beaches are also only about one hours drive.

Also easily visited are Silves castle and the Monchique mountains.

Many tennis courts, horse riding and boating are nearby.


The Algarve beaches are beautiful and clean, varying from long straight to small interesting beach coves. The nearest beach is Oura followed by Albufeira. Oura is a good walk being about 2-3km from the villa. A car is recommended to visit the many beaches and places of interest. There are several Water Theme Parks in the area and a large Zoo Marina.


The villa is 30 mins drive from the airport and car hire is best booked before you depart, we can advise where to get best prices. Apart the the many varied beaches there are lots of places to visit and some amazing scenery and places of interest. Information will be provided to ensure you have a great holiday. The Spanish border is less than an hour away and definitely worth visiting is the Portuguese capital - Lisbon, which is about 2½ hours driving but a train close by leaves daily.


Albufeira is approx 4km. Villamoura is about 20km. Monchique Mountains about 30km. Cape St Vincent, the most South Westerly point of Europe can be reached in under 2 hours.

Daily trains to Lisbon only 28 Euros.

Further Details:

There are many bars and restaurants close to the villa and the villa manager will advise on these. We supply a list of restaurants that we have tried over the years and enjoy. There are several very large Supermarkets just 5 mins drive away and the Algarve Shopping Centre complex is about 10 mins away opposite a huge Macro for those that have the card.

Booking Notes:
Payments are by cheque or internet transfer and if booked well in advance a £100 deposit will be required. We would expect full payment one month prior to departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are Saturday in the peak season and we expect the villa to be clear by 12 noon latest. Some flexibility is possible in the off peak for changeover.

Notes on prices:
For peak periods of July and August changeovers are Saturdays only.
