1 bed apartment, set in beautiful gardens, just metres from the beach.
The apartment is in the ideally situated Residence Eden Park which has an attractive indoor (heated) pool next to a sauna and steam room plus a beautiful outdoor pool set in stunning gardens. There are fabulous views from the roomy, well-equipped fifth-floor apartment with lift access, over the Bay of Cannes, the Esterel Mountains and the Lerins Islands. An on-site concierge is available and there is good security and a reserved underground parking bay. The Palais de Festivals and the Croisette are a pleasant seaside stroll away. The garden gate leads directly down to the beautiful, sandy beach - perfect for an early-morning or late evening ocean swim.
For those who enjoy cooking, there is a well-equipped kitchen with full-size hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster and kettle. A range of supplies such as herbs, spices and condiments, as well as dishwasher tablets, washing detergent etc, are always available, to which guests are welcome to help themselves. Of course, if you prefer not to cook, there are plenty of wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the apartment from which to choose.
The apartment has one bedroom, with comfortable twin beds (which can be configured as a double), fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning. In the living-room there is additional sleeping capacity in the form of a double sofa-bed. All linens and towels (including for the beach) are provided. Free Wi-Fi is included, and there is cable TV with a range of programmes (mostly in French, but some English channels too).

About Helen Harrison
I'm Helen, a freelance journalist and my husband Dave works in banking software. We live in the UK but, after having had many wonderful holidays in this apartment, when Nick, the previous owner, told us he was selling, we couldn't resist buying it. We fell in love with Cannes on our visits and we hope our visitors will enjoy it just as much as we do. Call me on 07932 696 659 with any questions you may have.
Why Helen Harrison chose Cannes
Cannes is the ideal South of France location; not as big and fretful as Nice, not as remote from the airport as St Tropez, with all the most popular attractions within easy reach by car, train or bus. One can walk into the centre of Cannes along the lovely sea road in 20 minutes, and the best sea and sand along the coast is literally at the bottom of our garden. The views of the Esterel mountains, the old town of Le Suquet and the islands in the Bay of Cannes are things one can never tire of, and winter or summer there is always plenty to see and do. And of course there is the superb climate, with sunny winters as well as summers.
What makes this apartment unique
Eden Park is one of the very rare developments in the Cannes area with an indoor heated pool as well as a large outdoor pool, so you can swim all year round. Alongside the indoor pool, there is also a very relaxing sauna and hammam/steam room. An excellent concierge is in charge of the security and cleanliness of the property. Opposite Eden Park you'll find a couple of handy shops, including a café and a chemist. If you prefer not to walk, buses run into town every 10 minutes and stop just outside our building.

We really enjoyed our stay, to summarize: Lovely views of the sea, the mountains and the islands. Swimming in the sea within a minute. Two pools (one heated), steam room, sauna. Beautiful gardens, underground parking. Stroll along the beach to Cannes. Secure, quiet, calm, clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Truly helpful owner (Helen) and greeting lady (Cathy). Loved it - wonderful vacation - will be back!
Fantastic location, lovely flat, great views
The flat was lovely, well equipped, clean and tidy with amazing views over the Mediterranean. We spent much time on the balcony watching the activity on the sea- boats, water skiing, paddle boarding. The flat was in a great location just 15 mins walk into Cannes for great shopping, bars and restaurants. The sandy beach was just outside the beautifully kept complex. The kids loved the swimming pool and it was a tough choice, beach or pool? The flat is located an easy 20-25 minutes from Nice airport which made for a hassle free journey. There are many towns to visit nearby- Monaco, Grasse, Antibes. We loved it. Helen the owner was great to deal with- helpful, informative and the arrangements to access the flat were so straightforward with the help of Cathy, girl Friday. I would definitely recommend the flat and I hope to go back soon.
Missing it already
This the second year we have stayed at the property and have already booked again for next year. The first thing you see as you enter the apartment is the absolutely stunning views of the sea. We just love to sit on the large balcony with a glass of wine and relax looking at the stunning views. Helen the new owner has been nothing but helpful. Booking has been very easy - Cathy who meets us at the apartment is lovely and had wine, cheese and ham in the fridge for us when we arrived. Helen has a folder with everything you need to know about the apartment and also introduced us to a couple of new lovely eating places, our now favorite Cafe Pico which is only over the road. There are lots of little extras provided that are so useful during your stay such as washing powder, softner, washing up liquid. There are also shopping bags and best of all a shopping trolley on wheels which was so helpful. All towels and linen are fresh and clean as is the apartment. We can't wait to go back next year.
'Home from home'
'Home from home'
It is some time since my husband and I visited this apartment and we looked forward to our holiday with great anticipation. We needed to contact the owner and became aware that the property had a new owner, Helen, who introduced herself and answered our query promptly in a friendly and professional manner. On arrival at the apartment building we were met by Cathy, who speaks very good English and who was courteous, polite and very informative. She accompanied us to the apartment and familiarised us with this spacious property. We were surprised to find that in the midst of all the necessary requisites there were a selection of electrical adaptors. Cathy emphasised that if we had any further enquiries we should not hesitate to contact her.. No sooner had we arrived than we hopped on the bus which is so conveniently located and we were in the centre of Cannes eating lunch.
The best description I can provide of this property is that it really is home from home. It is comfortable, everything which one would have at home is readily available including a variety of bed linen. It is spacious and has the most superb balcony providing a panoramic view of the port and town of Cannes to the viewer's left and the headland to the viewer's right. Then there is the beautiful Mediterranean and that unique azure sky providing the magical light. Its always wonderful to walk out of Arrivals in Nice and savour the warmth and the light. As well as the comfort of the apartment there is the closeness of the beach which can be accessed by a short stroll through the immaculately kept garden and then an even shorter stroll to the beach. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as the sauna and hammam are enormous advantages of this particular property and although we did not use the garage on this occasion, once again, it is another huge benefit. Our holiday comprised of rest and relaxation, invariably sitting on the balcony and indulging ourselves at a selection of restaurants at lunch time. If we had to pick our favourite it would be L'Assiette Provencal but we were not disappointed with any of the restaurants visited. Saturday saw us pondering all the goods for sale at the Antique market and some of these old treasures were of enormous interest. Would we return to this property? Yes we would and I feel sure that anyone experiencing this 'home from home' would feel exactly the same.
Superb location with lovely views
Having stayed at the apartment on many occasions, it can be recommended particularly for its excellent position and superb sea views from both the balcony and kitchen. The apartment is particularly spacious for 2 people and the kitchen is very well appointed. A big plus is the large sunny balcony
Wendy and Peter L
One of the best free public sandy beaches is only 5 minutes walk away and the Town centre is a pleasant 15 minutes walk along the sea front. There is plenty of public transport from outside Eden Park with buses to Cannes and Cannes le Bocca where there are supermarkets, shops and daily markets. There is also a bus to Grasse.
Highly recommended for a tranquil holiday.

Activity and Interests
The St Georges beach is right in front of Eden Park. It is a beautiful, safe and sandy public beach. There are nearby beach restaurants.
Nice airport 30 mins by car, 45 mins by half-hourly airport bus. Cannes rail station (direct TGV links) 20 mins by foot, 7 mins by bus.
Nice 30 mins, Grasse 20 mins, St Tropez 45 mins, Monaco 45 mins, Italy 50 mins.
Opposite the main Eden Park entrance there is a cafe/deli run by Olivier, who is charming and speaks perfect English, a pharmacy and a hairdresser. The nearest supermarket is Leader Price, around 7-10 minutes walk away along the main road, but our favourite for food shopping is the Forville market in the centre of Cannes, where you can purchase all the wonderful fresh produce so typical of the south of France. Cannes is full of restaurants ranging from the Michelin megastars to the back-street cafes, via oyster bars and bistros. From secluded walks on the islands in the bay to an all-night club scene, glamorous Cannes has the lot.
