Detached villa to sleep 4 with private pool and large garden in a peaceful residential area 3km from Calpe town. Stunning, open views to Mountains. Air con, WiFi and UK TV included.

This is a detached and traditionally styled villa set in pretty, mature gardens with lovelyviews over countryside to the Sierra Bernia and Pinos mountain ranges.

Located in a quiet residential area yet less than 10 minutes to Calpe with its blue flag beaches, harbour and huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The villa has everything you will need for your stay with pleasantly styled rooms and neutral furnishings. UK TV via satellite service and WiFi included in the rental price.

There is lots of outside space and the house and gardens have many private spots to relax in. Paved terraces surround our kidney shaped pool, which is south facing and in the perfect position to enjoy day long sunshine whilst marvelling at the views. The terrace is furnished with sunbeds and a table and chairs is set next to the BBQ area for outside dining. The summer kitchen, with it's fridge for keeping drinks cool, is a real asset and comes into it's own on days spent around the pool.

Hot and cold air-conditioning ensures the villa is comfortable to live in whatever the season and a wood burner adds that final touch for cosy winter evenings.

A super property...

We enjoyed a really good week at the villa. There was nothing lacking in amenities. We intended nothing more than relaxing by the pool.

Some of the restaurant details in the property information were out of date e.g. one was permanently closed. So an update would be good.

There was no contact with any property management personnel but that didn't matter.

If we were to visit the area again we would happily stay at the villa and wouldn't bother looking elsewhere.

Perfect holiday!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks in Calpe in this villa. This is the best-equipped house we've ever stayed in, complete with decent cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and plenty of dishes and silverware. (I once stayed in a place that didn't even give me a starter roll of toilet paper!) The pool is fantastic; since it is rarely in the shade the water is always a comfortable temp. There are 3 outdoor tables to enjoy meals at different times of the day, plus the outdoor lounge was great for relaxing on hot afternoons while the kids swam. The house has a lot of privacy from neighboring properties, and is very secure; its also very peaceful and quiet. The beach and city center are just a short drive away. If we had problems or questions, all we had to do was call the property management office where the owners' daughter works. The worst part of our trip was leaving this beautiful villa and city! I really hope we can return next year!

Brilliant villa and location

Spent two weeks in this villa could not wish for more very well equipped the location is breath-taking. Close enough to Calpe for eating out etc. but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the location. Not overlooked, pool has sunshine all days and the villa has so many area's to sit and enjoy peace and quiet. The owner could not have been more helpful as was the local lady manager Jean. So much to see in the area shame we only had two weeks

Second visit even better

We first visited about 2 years ago. Since then, the owners have obviously been doing some renovations and so the villa is even better than we remembered. To be fair, the pictures on the web site don't do the property justice and we told the owner she should get some new ones done! The big picture windows at the back of the house have amazing views of the mountains and we enjoyed them all day long. We also spent a lot of time by the pool which was a real pleasure -quiet and private. A lovely peaceful neighbourhood where we really felt at home.The house is very comfortable, and the wifi and English tv was appreciated. As on our first visit, everywhere was very clean and furnishings/bedding/towels etc generally of a much better standard than usual holiday rentals. Happy to recommend and we will visit again in the future.

Beautiful villa in lovely, peaceful surroundings.

The villa is set in a quiet, residential area with lovely views of the surrounding mountainside and is very peaceful! The property was very clean, and had all the equipment you might need to make meals yourselves - a home away from home. The main town of Calpe a 5-10 min drive away so a car is essential. Sue, the owner, was lovely and very helpful in arranging for an item left in the villa after we left to be sent back to us in the UK. I would definitely recommend this property to friends & relatives. We had an amazing, relaxing holiday in the sun!

Great Spanish Property for a Relaxing Break

Me and My Family stayed at the Villa for a week in July, the villa was as described and more.

The villa was clean, spacious and had everything we wanted. Located in the hills a car is a must, but its only a 5 minute drive from the bars, restaurants and beaches of Calpe.

We will defiantly recommend the Villa and hope to visit again soon.

We love Calpe because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are beautiful beaches, great watersports and beautiful countryside for walking, horse riding and playing golf - all within easy access of our house. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Alicante airport less than an hours drive away.

All approx 3kms from the house.

Calpe is on the south east coast of Spain, 73km north of the principle city and main airport of Alicante. The local area offers a stunning coastline as well as verdant valleys and towering mountain ranges. The town itself has a wealth of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants to cater for every taste. Calpe Old Town is full of traditional character with narrow, steep streets and local houses proudly decorated with pots of tumbling, colourful geraniums and bougainvillea. Summer evenings are spent enjoying tapas in the central plaza, watching the swallows diving along the narrow streets. The Jalon valley, just 20 mins drive from Calpe, is renowned for its wines and there is a wealth of traditional villages and towns to explore inland. The wonderful regional capital city of Valencia, home to the 2007 Americas Cup as well as some of the Formula 1 motor races, is just 90 mins drive away. Full of character with a magnificent church, pleasant plazas, bull ring and some of the best shopping in the region. A must see there is the newly built science and arts complex with the modern Oceanographic Park ~ now the largest in Europe. Terra Mitica, one of Europes' largest theme parks is just 30 minutes drive away and offers an excellent day out for all the family.

Our house is in a quiet residential area yet just a 5 min drive from the fabulous beach. This is our family holiday home; we spend a lot of time here and it is furnished and equipped to a much higher standard than the usual villa rentals which are widespread in this area. Days spent by the pool, with an evening BBQ enjoying the glorious sunsets, are our favorites.

  • Notes on accommodation: Hot and cold air conditioning is installed in the principal living areas and both bedrooms. The bedrooms also have mossie nets on the windows, window blinds and ceiling fans. All of the furniture and fittings are of a good standard, clean and well maintained. The house is ideally suited to couples, families and those looking for a peaceful, comfortable home from which to enjoy the delights of this lovely part of Spain. Outside: The house is set in established gardens. The spacious grounds are walled/fenced with a gated driveway which offers secure parking. The gardens and the pool area offer privacy and some secluded spots which are not directly overlooked. The upper terrace - accessed from the naya - is also furnished with a small table and chairs and is the perfect place for breakfast or to watch the sun set over a cool drink. Poolside, there is a 'built in' barbecue next to a wooden gazebo which has a table and four chairs for outside dining. Our open sided vernsummer room, which is also next to the pool, has a small sofa, 2 arm chairs and a coffee table; this is an ideal spot to relax out of the direct sun or to watch the sun slip behind the mountains at the end of the day. For extra comfort, this area is equipped with a drinks fridge and a ceiling fan. For sun-worshippers, the south facing pool terrace has 4 sunloungers and lots of quiet space. Utility Room: Automatic washing machine. Fridge. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linens provided. Please bring your own towels for pool/beach and tea towels. The house is fully cleaned, with beds made up based on your specific occupancy, prior to your arrival. Mid let cleaning/linen change is available for a small fee. Other: The owners private accommodation is accessed from the pool terrace and will be locked up and not in use during your stay.
