Situated in the heart of Nice, on the French Riviera, our apartment is available to rent all year round allowing you, your family and friends to share and experience the Cote d'Azur. Accommodating 4 to 6 people, the attractive apartment retains many original Art Deco features such as wooden floors and ornate ceilings. Our aim is to create a home from home - somewhere you can arrive and settle into quickly, allowing you the freedom to enjoy your holiday in comfort. The apartment is found in the heart of the "quartier des musiciens" of Nice. With corner views and first floor location, you can open the French doors and 'watch the world go by' from the small balcony. For those needing easy access, or who have bags of shopping, there is a lift. The apartment consists of two bedrooms (one double, one twin - both with air conditioning), a lounge/diner (with double bed-settee), separate kitchen, bathroom (bath with shower attachment) and WC. Late September visit to Nice

This is a beautifully presented and maintained property. It is spacious, with all mod cons and is very convenient to the prom and main shopping area. I really enjoyed staying here and look forward to a return visit!

Great apartment

Lovely apartment, great location

Had a very enjoyable week at the apartment. Very well equipt with many extras that made us feel at home, for example tea, coffee, wine and milk to name a few. Also the hall cupboard full of beach essentials was very handy. We love how the apartment was decorated and it was well maintained. Would recommend a trip to Italy on the costal train, the views are fabulous and only 45 mins away. Enjoyed days on the beach,shopping, eating and drinking. Loved the old town too. Had evening picnics on the beach a couple of evenings watching the Sun set and to save some pennies Patricia and Joe were very helpful too. Would defiantly recommend.

Great Apartment

We stayed with teenagers and a toddler and the apartment was ideal for us and had everything we needed. The 'beach accessories' cupboard was a real bonus on the day we went to villefranche sur mer!

The location is perfect for getting easily to the seafront or into town and being so near the station was ideal for our trips out on the train.

Joe and Patricia were very helpful with the booking as was Grace who checked us in and out.

Excellent Holiday Accomodation

The photographs, listings etc. were all accurate and the apartment was very clean and well equipped including a complimentary bottle of French wine and water. The very pleasant caretaker advised us of everything and was extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend this property. Nice is a wonderful city and there is plenty to do and I would love to return.

Lovely apartment, great location, great experience

We were only in Nice for 3 days (2 nights) in total and this apartment was just perfect: immaculate, tastefully furnished, great facilities and we felt immediately at home. The owners, Joe and Patricia, were more than accomodating and very prompt to respond to any queries during the booking and payment process, even offering to organise a transfer from the airport direct to the apartment - a great blessing which we also made use of on the way back.

Being 6 months pregnant and with a 3 year old in tow, we were keen for somewhere central, with amenities close at hand and the beach in walking distance. We were not disappointed. Our daughter was thrilled with the air-con in her room (as were we in ours) and the metal shutters ensured superb nights sleep for us all. The kitchen was well kitted out and although we only cooked one meal in it, were we to have been able to stay for longer, we would have found it easy to prepare whatever we wanted with ease. The shower was powerful and separate toilet handy.

The friendly key holder Grace (also textable during our stay) was a font of local knowledge on arrival and highlighted the 2 min walk proximity of the train station and therefore easy access to other beaches. Although we did check out the easy to find Nice ville beach 10mins walk from the apartment, we plumped for the 7 euro family total return to Villefranche sur mer, two stops away on the train and although the reliablity of train times left a bit to be desired, it was well worth it. Down some steps from the station we stepped onto a more secluded, gorgeous beach and enjoyed our last two days in and out of the water there, collecting 'pretty stones' (3 year old) and relaxing. My husband spent most of the time grinning on his new inflatable paddleboard - perfect conditions, fish to see and fun to be had.

We only tried out the pizza place below the apartment on the last day - just delicious and we never heard a peep from downstairs. There was a bakery and fruit & veg shop in sight of the apartment, with a pharmacy and various supermarkets not much further away - all very handy.

We would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family and will genuinely be looking to see how and when we can come back soon....with baby in tow.

Thank you Joe and Patricia for your hospitality - we enjoyed having your apartment to come back to after days on the beach.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Nice at 7 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Bar tabac Le gounod at 0.05 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Nice Port at 0.5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Gare SNCF at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A8 autoroute at 0.4 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Le Keter at 0.05 Kilometres Nearest Ski : Isola 2000 at 45 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Promenade des Anglais at 0.2 Kilometres Car: not necessary

The (pebbled) beach is a 10-15 minute walk depending on whether you get attracted by the many provencal shops en route. If you prefer, you can pay to use one of the private, sandy breaches along the Promenade.

Alternatively, Antibes, Villefranche sur Mer, Juan les Pins or Cannes all have sandy beaches and are easily accessible by train.

Getting around Nice is easier than ever - the tram system is excellent as is the Vélo Blue (bicycle rental system).

You really don't need a car here as you are so centrally placed in Nice and the SNCF central station is less than a 5 minute walk away. The train line has excellent train links to Italy, Monaco, Eze, Menton, Antibes, Cannes etc.

If you are driving the auto-routes are excellent.

There is so much to see and do you will need several trips to do it all. You can get away into the mountains for skiing or walks, the promenade and beaches, the art galleries of St Paul de Vence, Villefranche, Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix - it's all just a short trip away.

For the workaholic, WiFi is available in the apartment!

Local restaurants, a little bar, a mouthwatering greengrocers and several tasty boulangeries are all on your doorstep. Banks, a range of shops - everything you could possibly need are within a 10 minute walk.

  • Having tested the property ourselves with our own children, we welcome yours. Although the lift in the building is suitable for a buggy, it may be a little narrow for a wheelchair. For your convenience, a washing machine, indoor clothes airer, iron, ironing board, beach mats and parasols are all provided. We only believe in charging for the time you stay and so linen, towels, and heating (in winter) are all included. Upon arrival, the property will be clean with fresh bedlinen and towels. Although we do not expect guests to clean before departure, we ask that the apartment is left in an acceptable state. The area..... Famous for lovely beaches right along the coast - Nice, Villefranche sur Mer, Beaulieu sur Mer, Eze.... - the Cote d'Azur has loads more to offer. The rich history of the region means the city has a very distinct culture. A great wealth of fine architecture, a diverse cultural life, a myriad of museums and art galleries means there is something for everyone.
