Sleeps 8 plus a baby. Four bedroom, split level villa with private pool (heated April - Oct) in La Sella, a prestigious and peaceful development with golf, tennis, riding, spa and restaurant. Wonderful views of orchards, sea and mountains. Recently built to a high specification with contemporary quality furnishings. Air-conditioning, central heating, internet and satellite television. Close to beaches, Denia and Javea.

About Judy Stanley

We bought the villa as a new-build in 2005, having had some influence on the design. Our intention was to use it for family holidays with our teenage children and to rent it out to cover some of the overheads when we were not using it ourselves. This is what we have done. It is therefore furnished and equipped to our own fairly high standards, rather than as a business rental. It is the only villa that we own in Spain. Our aim is for guests to enjoy it as much as we do. Arriving at the villa and standing on the balcony admiring the panoramic view never fails to thrill us and lift our spirits – we hope that you find the same pleasure from staying at Las Terrazas.

I always like to talk to potential guests at least once by phone. For your own reassurance, please ensure that this happens.

Notes on accommodation: The property is let as a non-smoking property and no pets are permitted. The fitted kitchen has beech units and black granite worktops. Full air conditioning, central heating and bedroom ceiling fans are provided. A log fire is also available for cooler winter nights as well as integrated warm air heating and full gas central heating. Burglar alarm and security shutters. Due to the split-level design, with 3 bedrooms leading on to the pool area, and the ungated 6' deep pool, the villa is less suitable for any unsupervised children who are non-swimmers or under 5. Travel cot, highchair and stairgates available. Outside: The private pool measures 9 x 4.5m, plus Roman steps. It is usually heated April - October. There is a 'summer kitchen' with built-in gas BBQ and dining terrace with table and chairs. Covered and uncovered terraces with good quality furniture including outside sofa and chairs and sun loungers, provide plenty of options for relaxing and there is a small lawned area with palm trees to the front of the villa. Carport with automatic security gates. Utility Room: Integrated broom cupboard with ironing board, iron, hoover, mop and brooms. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included, except for beach towels. Linen and towels are changed weekly. Other: Living rooms and all bedrooms have patio doors opening directly on to the terraces. Bedroom 1 is on the upper level, adjacent to the living rooms. Bedrooms 2,3 & 4 on the lower level open directly on to the pool terrace. Games room is on the lower level.

Relaxing stay in spacious house

The property is in a quiet location, no more than a 10-minute drive to La Sella Golf. A further 10-minute, straightforward, drive and one can find themselves at Javea seafront. It was very easy to locate - using Judy's excellent directions from Alicante airport. There is space for one car to park behind a gate and others can park easily on the road. We felt very safe and secure in the property throughout our stay. The four spacious bedrooms, two with en suites, ensured that all members of the family had space to relax in private when required; it easily accommodates a family of eight. The pool was well-maintained (weekly visits from pool maintenance company) and warm enough for us to swim in comfort during April. The location of the property meant that we could relax on the naya for coffee in the morning, and laze by the pool during the day, quite undisturbed by other neighbours. Although there are a couple of properties either side, they were very quiet and we felt reasonably private. We were able to enjoy sun by the pool until around 6pm. The property was very clean and well-looked after. Towels, cushions and bed linen were all in very good condition. Although we didn't use the BBQ, it was a large, professional item and would make cooking a meal al fresco a breeze. We did, however, dine outside on the adjacent dining table, which was delightful. We had a most pleasant and relaxing stay. Areas to of interest nearby: Valencia, for some culture and the 3D cinema; Moraira, for some tapas at Terra Vina, shops such as Lacoste and a sandy beach; Old Javea, for lovely backstreet bistros such as Casa Grau; Javea port for some smarter, less busy bars and restaurants and Javea Arenal for a little more hustle and bustle. The latter has a sandy beach, plenty of eateries and some great mini-parks on the beach for the children. There is also a road train that one can take around Javea itself. Our three-year-old son took his scooter and got a lot of use out if it. La Sella Golf is a superb golfing location (includes a driving range), which we visit around three times a year; the attached hotel has superb facilities where one can relax in the air-conditioned, large bar with comfortable seating or in the warmer climes of Spain around the lovely pool. There is also a great Thai restaurant and spa facilities. The spa at El Rodat, Javea, is also lovely. There is lots to do in this area of Spain and is somewhere we will continue to return.

Excellent communication and instructions from Judy prior to our holiday. On arrival the villa was impeccable, beautiful fixtures and fittings, very high quality and well equipped with ample plates, cutlery, glasses etc. Everything working well and lots of space. Judy provided stair gates for the kids which were needed as there are plenty steps to the pool, this did not affect the stay at all and actually it was great the kids did not have access to the pool all the time. Quiet area, close to supermarkets, car needed to get about but all amenities in easy driving distance. Great stay, would definitely come back, thank you Judy for providing such great accommodation for us to enjoy our holiday!

Walking back uphill from the bar/restaurant or the tennis courts on the La Sella development is feasible but very hot in summer! However, we feel that the spectacular views from the villa of the Montgo mountain, coast and orchards below make up for this. We love watching fiesta fireworks all along the coast on a Saturday night from the balcony. You are very welcome to stay again in future and we look forward to having you back. Kind regards, Judy

Fantastic Villa

We travelled as a family of six, which consisted of myself, my husband and our 3 boys aged from 8 to 18 and my mother-in-law. The photos did not prepare us in any way for how stunning the villa itself was let alone the amazing views, which when you walk through the front door just take your breath away.The property is well laid out & everybody had their own space. It is modern, very well furnished ( I adored the dining-room light fitting) & was immaculately clean. The boys loved the pool & it was hard work dragging them away from it to go out!

Judy the owner was so helpful & answered so many of our questions before we had even booked & Lorraine, the lady who looked after the property in Spain was lovely also & very efficient.

The villa is in a lovely location on a lovely complex with security & was quiet & peaceful & very well positioned for nearby towns & attractions. Our particular favourite was Denia as we enjoyed the buzz of the harbour area in the evening & can also recommend a visit to the Castle although maybe on a cooler day as there are quite a few steps involved!

We would recommend the villa & will definitely return. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your gorgeous holiday home.

Fabulous luxury villa on the La Sella development

I have stayed in many villas and houses on the La Sella development and Las Terrazas is the best of the all of these high quality holiday homes. Where to start? Amazing views, heated pool, outdoor BBQ, games room, plenty of space and fresh lemons on the trees! I would not hesitate to come back - my friend and her 9 year old said it was their best holiday ever.

heaven on earth villa :-)

well...this villa was everything and" more "what we expected ...in fact it was faultless...the location ..views were just breath taking .The owner was incredibly efficient..from pre holiday..information we needed ..on villa..detailed map of how to get to villa..everything ...no stone left unturned! the wonderful groceries when we arrived left in the fridge for us ..the help,guided assistance of lorraine.Judy was always there to reply..help with any questions...recommendations even for restaurants in the area..plenty of books in villa on attractions /help guidance for everything we could possibly need.i would'nt hesitate in recommending this villa to anyone ! we had a fantastic family fun holiday ..the villa is amazing ..brilliant location ..so many choices of near beaches to go...javea , denia,calpe..even benidorm ! but for us the" peace ,quiet, mountain,villa,pool" was perfect in every way! the villa is so well equipt ...fab games room..huge bar.b...i do hope we get to return 1day soon ....really is a heaven on earth kind a place ..we hired a convertible car ..the coastal roads are so so beautiful thankyou :-) the wrights :-)

Denia is 10 minutes and Javea 20 minutes from the villa by car. The large village of Pedreguer is 3 minutes' drive away. Good shopping, historic old town areas and an unlimited choice of bars and restaurants are available. Picturesque inland villages, waterfalls, caves, Aqualandia water park, Terra Mitica theme park, safari park and Mundomar sea animal park are all within 30 minutes drive.

La Sella Tennis is 3 minutes' drive from the villa, with 8 courts and private tuition of a high standard. La Sella riding stables are next to the courts.
