Villa Corrib is a new, architect-designed, detached, substantial, quiet and secure, privately owned villa on its own landscaped grounds (one third of an acre) with an integral garage. This villa is finished to a high standard of luxury and is in the most prestigious urbanization (suburb) of large, private, detached villas in the Fuengirola area. It is approximately a 20-minute drive from Malaga airport and a 5-minute drive from the centre of Fuengirola and the main beaches, with easy access to all roads and motorways (autovias).

Sierrezuela,Overlooking FUENGIROLA, the urbaniazion where I bought a site for Villa Corrib, is the least densely built urbanization on the Costa. Sites are, on average, 2000 sq.m. and building density per site is controlled AT 20% IN contrast with 35% elsewhere- the result is great privacy for all the villas which is now further enhanced by mature tree growth and magnificent gardens. The villa was designed and the costruction by Josacri S.L. supervised by Fernando Melida Ardura a renowned local architect.

Notes on accommodation: This is a quality private villa, secure but not isolated; there is an open fireplace in lounge and timber is supplied as part of the rental fee during the low season ie. November-March. Christmas tree and lights also supplied and the telephone is available( no charge ).HEATED POOL VIA HEAT PUMP just installed ( 2017 ) Outside: Beautiful mature gardens kept in immaculate order; outdoor furniture; mobile barbeque; private pool not overlooked measuring 10x5m. The pool is heated by solar panels. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen of a high quality supplied; weekly maid service and laundry; weekly garden and pool service under local English and Spanish speaking management. Other: There is a large internal garage, finished to living standard with safety gates on all stairs. There are mosquito screens on all bathroom windows; half-window mosquito screens on all sliding windows in all bedrooms.

Beautiful Villa in a perfect location

We visited Villa Corrib as a family of 5; 2 adults and 3 children ranging from age 8 - 14. We found the villa gave us the space that we all needed and was perfect for our family. I can't fault anything about the villa, it was spotlessly clean and the pool area was perfect with beautiful views. We enjoyed a walked in to the village which was a 10 minute stroll. There is a couple of local restaurants, a nice Spanish bar and a few shops. You can also catch the buses from there which we did into Fuengirola on a few occasions.

Thank you for everything Bobby, we will definitely return in the future. Absolute pleasure dealing with you during the booking process and your response times and detail were second to none. Thank you.

Owner's Response: This was a lovely family to deal with. They loved villa Corrib and did not have to take a car as they loved walking to the shops etc about 400 metres away and also availed of the 30 minute bus service to FUENGIROLA etc. They are , presently, looking at suitable dates for 2018 and are most welcome back again ( owner )

Lovely holiday

Our stay was made welcome with a great arrival pack. The villa has stunning views , very spacious , secure and safe for small children. The management there are easy to contact, I had a minor issue to report and they made immediate contact in view of resolving the small problem. The villa is well maintained and looked after.

Glad we hired a car as felt it was to far away from the main strip of Fuengirola and a reasonable distance to the nearest bus stop which is Probably OK if don't have small children.

Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday .

Excellent location for a Vocation in South of Spa.

We as a Family have holiday in Villa Corrib numerous times over the last 15 Years. A superb location with 100 per cent privacy very safe for children, it has an enclosed pool, a short drive to the shops and beach .We would highly recommend this Villa for a vacation I can guarantee a couple / family will not be disappointed.

Wonderful villa

For a Family of 3 generations, the spacious and well equipped villa fulfilled everyones best expectations of a "home" at the sunny, Spanish coast. The welcome pack was highly appreciated at our late arrival.

The owner has been giving us excellent guidance and we have been feeling very confident with the rental.

Villa Corrib

Our Family have holidayed in Villa Corrib a lot over the last ten years we have always found it very secure, peaceful, and tranquil setting. Ideal for Family's or a couple on there own. Since we have last visited the pool area has been fenced off thus giving parents of young children peace of mind. We would highly recommend Villa Corrib and have booked again for next year.

Superb Holiday, Villa and Location

We arrived at Villa Corrib on Saturday the 08/08/2015 after a short drive from Malaga airpor and had one of the best holidays I a can remember (I didn't want to come home). Villa Corrib was superb in terms of size and facilities with a smashing pool for all of the family to enjoy and relax beside. The views were fantastic and the close proximity of the Villa to Fuengirola Town centre meant that we left the car on many days opting for a leisurely stroll into town stopping off in the many shops and cafes for a light snack, coffee or a beer. The shopping centres were excellent and being a fish lover, the selection was fantastic. My wife found the Miramar shopping centre particularly good.On the days we took the car, being a 2 minute drive from the motorway meant easy access up and down the coast to La cala, Marbella etc but we also went inland to Caminito del Rey and El torcal both of which are well worth a visit. I can highly recommend Villa to anyone and could go on and on but then again I love Spain, it's' people, music, food, wine and way of life. Roll on 2016.

This review captures the essence of Villa Corrib, near Fuengirola but not in . Near enough to central Andalusia to visit all the white villages which are unique in themselves including Caminito del Rey and El Torcal. Will be welcome anytime to my villa and hope I can accommodate them again next year. ( owner )

10 minutes by car from the extremely safe and sheltered beach at CABOPINO - particularly good for children with a very good beachside restaurant and bar.

Travel:

30 minutes by car from Malaga airport - excellent parking adjacent to the terminus building which is big and airy and never seems crowded!

Car hire is recommended.

Distances:

El Potro (restaurant and bar) is 3 minutes walk.

El Coto (supermarket, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, bread shop, pizzeria, etc.) is 5 minutes walk.

Fuengirola is 5 minutes by car; Puerto Banus/Marbella is 25 minutes by car; Mijas village is 15 minutes by car.
