Apartment in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - Roof Terrace, Close to Beach, Shops and Restaurants

Casa las Anclas is situated in the heart of Playa Blanca, 50 metres from the promenade and less than two minutes walk from the nearest beach. This apartment is ideal for a really relaxing holiday. It is ideally placed for all the local shops and restaurants. Its superb location means any walking you do will be completely of your own choice and hire of a car is unnecessary unless you want to visit other locations on the island. It is ideal for families, couples or two couples holidaying together. The apartment is extremely well equipped.

The French windows open from the lounge onto the balcony, which has the sun until about 4 pm winter and 5 pm summer, and looks onto the fascinating Calle Limones, pedestrianised high street.

The double bedroom, has coin-operated air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and a floor fan. The twin bedroom, has ceiling and floor fans. There is also a Z bed available for a fifth person, child or small adult. Both bedrooms are located at the rear of the apartment overlooking a small yard.

The kitchen is well-equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Breakfast bar adjoins to lounge area.

The bathroom has toilet, sink and excellent walk in shower.

Please note that while we have done everything possible to provide for a comfortable stay in Casa las Anclas, there are things outside our control that may affect you during your holiday. The continuity of supply of water and electricity is not as you may be accustomed to in the UK or Ireland. The supply is occasionally turned off for periods of time by the water/electricity companies, usually to do with maintenance of the system, and there is often no notification.

Whilst the apartment is quiet considering its location, it is nevertheless in the town centre and shouldn’t be expected to be quiet to the same extent as a villa in a community on the fringes of the town, or in a nearby village. The street is pedestrianised and so traffic is not an issue, but there is a café below, and people sit outside and therefore below the apartment balcony during the day and evening. If you encounter the odd insect, it isn’t a reflection on the cleaning or maintenance of the apartment, it is just the consequence of a different climate. Mosquitos are not usually a problem in Lanzarote, which doesn’t have the moist ground that they live in, but again you may encounter the odd one.

Why John chose Playa Blanca - Yaiza

We have been coming to Playa Blanca since 1997. We loved it so much it became our only overseas holiday destination. No stay is long enough. In 2005 we decided that if we were rarely going anywhere else, it would make sense to buy somewhere. We wanted somewhere central in the town and were lucky enough to come across Casa las Anclas. It was a bit of a risk for us as we are not rich people, but we decided to take a change and despite the recent economic downturn and the property market problems, we have never regretted our decision. Apparently, it is quite rare for non-Spanish people to own places in the town centre, so we feel quite lucky to have bought it.

What makes this apartment unique

We find the same benefits as all our guests. The location is wonderful as you are in the nicest part of Playa Blanca (and it is all nice) close to the shops, the beach and the restaurants, and yet it is very quiet. We love to sit on the balcony and people watch. And we also like to go up on to the roof terrace for a barbecue, or just a quiet drink and a sit, gazing over to Playa Dorada, Fuerteventura or the impressive Ajache Grande mountain.

Outside: The roof terrace has two parts, the front, which affords views across Playa Blanca and across the Playa Dorada bay, and the rear, which is completely secluded. Utility Room: Washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment has a weekly service to clean. A change of linen and towels is provided once per week. Beach towels are provided. Other: The roof terrace is equipped with table, four chairs, sunbeds and a barbecue. It provides a delightful view to the Playa Dorada beach, across the bay to Marina Rubicon and to the impressive 2,000 foot Ajache Grande mountain. Adjacent The apartment is the middle of a set of three, which sit over commercial units, two shops either side and a cafe bar below.

Great property. Superb location. Very comfortable

We have stayed in Playa Blanca many times but this has been our favourite property. The location is ideally placed for access to the sea front with its numerous restaurants and bars. Shopping nearby is a bonus. The property was very clean. It is comfortable. The beds and sofas were extremely comfortable. WiFi and a washing machine were a great addition. The roof terrace with sea views and sun loungers with a BBQ was ideal. A great place to stay.

We really enjoy our holiday in your apartment, which included all you need. Great location and a wonderfull view from the roof terrasse. Beside that you could fill the good atmosphere and harmony in the apartment which make you stay very light and peacefull.

Location brilliant and roof terrace perfect apartment in need of some tlc but still good

Size and location for 3 of us perfect think 4 friends would struggle with only 1 shower/bathroom. Well equipped more a home than a holiday let but sunbeds and cushions past there best. 2.5 cushions for 3 lounges, barbecue so rusty would not want to use let alone clean. Beds clean and comfortable but again towels and bedding past there best. Cafe 34 and Martin the manager brilliant a visit a must. Rubbish a pain, never had to do this,in others always dealt with by cleaners, management team quite a trek to dispose. All in All enjoyed our stay and with a bit of an up date apartment would be perfect.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

We had another lovely stay at Casa las Anclas. It's a real home from home for us. The apartment is very well-equipped and well-maintained. We love sitting on the balcony doing a bit of people-watching, and the views from the roof terrace are great. It's like being in another world up there - a great place for barbecues. Playa Blanca is the loveliest of resorts, and of course the apartment is right there, close to all the amenities and 50 yards from the promenade.

The apartment has every thing you need . Even a nice selection of C D s we played on an evening.
