Apartment in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - Roof Terrace, Close to Beach, Shops and Restaurants

Casa las Anclas is situated in the heart of Playa Blanca, 50 metres from the promenade and less than two minutes walk from the nearest beach. This apartment is ideal for a really relaxing holiday. It is ideally placed for all the local shops and restaurants. Its superb location means any walking you do will be completely of your own choice and hire of a car is unnecessary unless you want to visit other locations on the island. It is ideal for families, couples or two couples holidaying together. The apartment is extremely well equipped.

The French windows open from the lounge onto the balcony, which has the sun until about 4 pm winter and 5 pm summer, and looks onto the fascinating Calle Limones, pedestrianised high street.

The double bedroom, has coin-operated air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and a floor fan. The twin bedroom, has ceiling and floor fans. There is also a Z bed available for a fifth person, child or small adult. Both bedrooms are located at the rear of the apartment overlooking a small yard.

The kitchen is well-equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Breakfast bar adjoins to lounge area.

The bathroom has toilet, sink and excellent walk in shower.

Please note that while we have done everything possible to provide for a comfortable stay in Casa las Anclas, there are things outside our control that may affect you during your holiday. The continuity of supply of water and electricity is not as you may be accustomed to in the UK or Ireland. The supply is occasionally turned off for periods of time by the water/electricity companies, usually to do with maintenance of the system, and there is often no notification.

Whilst the apartment is quiet considering its location, it is nevertheless in the town centre and shouldn’t be expected to be quiet to the same extent as a villa in a community on the fringes of the town, or in a nearby village. The street is pedestrianised and so traffic is not an issue, but there is a café below, and people sit outside and therefore below the apartment balcony during the day and evening. If you encounter the odd insect, it isn’t a reflection on the cleaning or maintenance of the apartment, it is just the consequence of a different climate. Mosquitos are not usually a problem in Lanzarote, which doesn’t have the moist ground that they live in, but again you may encounter the odd one.

Why John chose Playa Blanca - Yaiza

We have been coming to Playa Blanca since 1997. We loved it so much it became our only overseas holiday destination. No stay is long enough. In 2005 we decided that if we were rarely going anywhere else, it would make sense to buy somewhere. We wanted somewhere central in the town and were lucky enough to come across Casa las Anclas. It was a bit of a risk for us as we are not rich people, but we decided to take a change and despite the recent economic downturn and the property market problems, we have never regretted our decision. Apparently, it is quite rare for non-Spanish people to own places in the town centre, so we feel quite lucky to have bought it.

What makes this apartment unique

We find the same benefits as all our guests. The location is wonderful as you are in the nicest part of Playa Blanca (and it is all nice) close to the shops, the beach and the restaurants, and yet it is very quiet. We love to sit on the balcony and people watch. And we also like to go up on to the roof terrace for a barbecue, or just a quiet drink and a sit, gazing over to Playa Dorada, Fuerteventura or the impressive Ajache Grande mountain.

Wonderful spot.

So central to every where.

The apartment has every thing you need . Even a nice selection of C D s we played on an evening.

Good location

Flat was spotless with a good location overlooking a main pedestrian street which was great for watching the world go by from the balcony.The weather was very good during our stay so we used the roof terrace virtually every afternoon.

Minor problems with wifi and television but they did not spoil our holiday.

The downstairs bar didn't close around 10.30pm when we were there and,even though the bedrooms are to the back,it could still be quite noisy.

Excellent holiday overall though I would suggest that the roof terrace could do with a good clean and tidy up and the cushions for the loungers and chairs could do with being renewed

as they are in a pretty poor condition.

None of these minor points detracted from a super holiday.

Perfect, everything you need

This apartment is in a perfect location, it is central to everything Playa Blanca has to offer. The owners have thought of everything in this apartment, it has all you need for a self catering holiday. The roof terrace is an added bonus, although we didn't get full use of it due to very high winds during our Christmas break. We would definitely visit this property and Playa Blanca again

An Excellent Apartment !!

We had a lovely stay in this excellent apartment. Apart from the fact that the apartment is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped, it is ideally located close to the beach, the promenade and all the local amenities. The balcony is ideal for chilling out and people-watching. The roof terrace is large and has great views. Playa Blanca is lovely. There are lots of really nice restaurants and lively enough in the evening without being noisy. We hope to return and stay in Casa las Anclas in the near future. Jack.

Great apartment as last time we stayed.

Great apartment as last time we stayed, only issues were the shop refit opposite but that can't be helped and is Café 34 under new management as they were open quite late and the police were called Friday night and a man arrested at approx. 12:30. These were the only issues but would return again in the near future.
