Villa in Costa Papagayo, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote - Quiet Residential Area of Costa Papagayo

Redecorated in December 2012, this delightful semi-detached villa with private heated pool is situated in the Costa Papagayo area of Playa Blanca. It is 20 minutes walk to Dorada Beach and local amenities, including supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The villa is furnished to a high standard. There are 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom is en-suite with a double bed the doors leading to the pool area. The second bedroom has twin beds and both bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. A comfortable double sofabed is located in the living room for additional sleeping capacity should it be required. The family bathroom is with shower, WC and basin set in a marble top. The en-suite bathroom has a bath/shower, WC and double basins set in marble top. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences. Leading out of the kitchen is a utility area where the washing machine is located. The living/dining area is light and spacious. 2 sofas.

About the Owner

I spent 2 years National Service in the South African Army. On completion of military service, I went to college and qualified as an Accountant. I moved to the UK in 1993, I worked for British Rail, Electrolux and Bol.com. I started an outsourcing accounting business in 2001.

I fly for a hobby and in July 2009 I completed a 3000 mile flying trip around Namibia and Botswana. I plan to get a commercial pilots license and do the African flying for a living.

Location

From the Owner

Location is most important. In selecting Villa Sofia consideration was given to the size of the property – I did not want a little box but a substantial dwelling that I could one day be retire to. At 1184 Sq ft Villa Sofia meets this requirement. The second consideration was distance from Playa Blanca village. At just on 1 mile Villa Sofia is close enough but not too close. This leads onto the 3rd reason Traffic and noise. Being in a residential area there is no pub noise or through traffic. I find Villa Sofia an ideal get-a-away, a place to relax and forget about my day-to-day work issues.

Shops, bars and restaurants are located in the Playa Blanca village. This is about a 20 minute walk. 2-3 minutes by car.

Close to but far enough away from Playa Blanca Village. Villa Sofia is just on 1 mile from the restaurants and bars. I find Villa Sofia an ideal get-a-away, a place to relax and forget about my day-to-day work issues. The pool and BBQ area are private and can't be seen from the raod.
