Atmospheric apartment in modern alpine rustic style. Located in the heart of the village, yet quietly situated. Close to main lift station (5 mins walk) in the midst of restaurants, bars, shops, nightlife. Wonderful views from large, sunny south west facing balcony.Two additional balconies. Fireplace. Three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom on the main floor, two with bath/shower, two with shower. Fifth double bedroom on the mezzanine floor with the sauna, steam room/shower and jacuzzi.Guest lavatory off the living room. Communal laundry facilities in the basement. The chalet is very warm and has plenty of hot water.

We are Swedish nationals with an international background with homes in other parts of the world.

We are residents in the Alps where we spend the winters and the height of the summer. The spring and autumn months we are in Mallorca in our house on the cliffs SW of Palma.

Why Inger Fabricant chose 4 Valleys

Romantica was constructed in 2000, and we chose our penthouse apartment because of its excellent location and views, and also its interesting architecture.

We chose Verbier for its extensive skiing, as much for ourselves as for our children, who spend all major holidays here and also time in between, as the train access from Geneva airport is excellent. They also find a summer holiday here is far more active and physically challenging than any beach holiday. Apart from an enormous amount of hiking tracks, all well mapped out, there is rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding school, out- and indoor public swimming pool, golf, tennis, horseback riding. The days are very warm and the nights cool and fresh.

'Romantica' is right in the heart of the village, yet quiet as set back from the main street. All restaurants, shops and amenities including the main lift station 'Medran', are within a few minutes walk with no steep streets to negotiate.The access to the apartment is easy:only a few steps to the lobby and then the lift takes you straight into the apartment.

A Vacation of a Lifetime!

This is the perfect chalet in the perfect ski town. Location, location, location - the chalet is right in the center of town and is close enough to walk to the Medran lift! There are many wonderful restaurants (lots of fondue and raclette), amazing skiing and some fun (but expensive) shopping right in the area. The chalet was up to date but still has a wonderful "Swiss chalet" feel. It was perfect for two families with kids. The owner was absolutely wonderful to work with and helped us through navigating our vacation in Verbier.

AMAZING <3

Chalet Romanica truly has it all. We stayed as an adult family of 8 over new year. The chalet is very well designed with personal touches which makes it very homely. The views from the chalet across the valley are breathtaking. Its location is great with a 5 minute walk to the Median lift and it is situated in the heart of Verbier town. It really does tick all the boxes. We also had hot showers all the time which has been a problem before when we have all been away. The owner Inger is very efficient and wonderful to deal with. You would certainly have a great stay at Chalet Romanica and we highly recommend it :)

Fantastic stay, wonderful accommodation

The apartment was fantastic. It's huge, each bedroom with an ensuite, tastefully decorated and comfortable. There is a wonderful common space and very well kitted out kitchen. I can't think of anyone the apartment wouldn't be suited for. It is also excellently located just a few minutes walk from the main Verbier lift and excellent slopes. The owner was very helpful with adive on getting there and what to do once there. All in, 5 star.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Closest airport is Geneva. Trains depart almost every hour from the Airport to take you to Martigny (about 1 hr 45 mins). From there you take either a taxi to Verbier (30 mins) currently about CHF 140) or the local train to Le Chable; take a taxi ( CHF 60 ) or a bus to Verbier Poste or the cable car from Le Chable to Medran.

From La Poste there is a five min walk to the chalet.
