Just over 20 kilometres west of Faro one of the most luxurious and exclusive resorts in Europe, set in 2000 acres of unspoiled pinewoods, lush green championship golf fairways and lakes. A privately owned, luxury newly refurbished apartment with spacious lounge, bedroom with en-suite and separate shower room. Balconies leading from both the lounge and bedroom overlooking the gardens. Easy access to miles of unspoilt sandy beaches via the famous footbridge across the Ria Formosa lagoon. There is a large communal pool, incorporating a separate children's pool, surrounded by extensive terracing, and poolside bar (April – September). There also are 2 tennis courts available for use of residents. Local banks, post office, supermarkets, medical centre and boutiques 5 minutes drive. Plenty of local restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets (details/bookings available at reception).

After visiting Portugal with friends we decided we loved it so much that we bought our apartment so we could have a home from home in an area we loved. We regard this as our second home and have lovingly refurbished the apartment. We hope that our guests experience the same comfortable ambience.
There is something for everyone in the area, and our family looks forward to returning again and again to "our little piece of paradise".

On a quality complex with a great pool. 15 mins to the beach and a supermercado some 25 mins away if required and you havnt got access to a car.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mary's apartment. The rooms were light and airy, the kitchen was practical, lounge and bathroom great. Being equipped with a washing machine was very handy too.
The pool complex was great. Not too busy and very clean with a good selection of food and drinks. It is cash only.
Parking was secure and convenient. Will definitely be back. Thank you
The apartment was exactly as described on the website. It was clean, airy and welcoming and the maid service was efficient. The owner was extremely easy to deal with and answered all enquiries promptly. I would certainly recommend the apartment to friends and family. It suited us perfectly as its location was not only close to the airport but was surrounded by well maintained golfing complexes and, more importantly for us, many areas for watching birds. We enjoyed long walks from the apartment but were also able to visit other areas in and around the Algarve easily.

Short walk to beautiful, sandy beach via a wooden bridge over the world renowned Ria Formosa nature reserve with enclosed bird watching platform. 3.5km of sandy beach, with life-guard during summer months. Watersports available at nearby Lake.

Nearest airport Faro approx 20km. Car hire is recommended.
Distances:
Local shops less than five minute drive away. Faro (with shopping/cinema), Villamoura marina 20 minutes. Monchique, Loule and the hills 30 minutes away.

Various watersports at the Lake or on the beach, including lessons and rental. You can jet ski, water ski, windsurf, sail, take banana-boat rides, pedalos and canoes. Local boat tours also bookable. Tennis centres in both Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo offering both lessons/workshops, court hire, game arranging and competitions. Zoomarine, Guia, just a few kilometers from Albufeira, live interaction with dolphins. Shows with dolphins, seals, sea lions, and tropical birds; Rides and amusements. A number of water parks nearby including Aquashow nr. Quarteira offers water rides, amusements, birds of prey & reptile shows. Beauty/Spa treatments at various locations locally.
