The Love Nest is located on foothill of the Monte Sao Miguel range, an elevated setting with lovely mountain and stunning coastal sea views overlooking the distant offshore islands and towns from Fuseta to Olhao and Faro.

The offshore islands beckon with endless, uncrowded, and sun-drenched beaches, easily accessed by either water taxis or small ferries docking below in Olhao or Fuseta, under 10-minute drive away.
Access to the A22 motorway allows all Algarve’s appealing entertainments, sport activities and even Spain to be very accessible, all within a 30minute drive.
PROPERTY LAYOUT
The cottage is detached back to back across a shared rear courtyard from our main home Casa Lami.
The cottage has a separate garden, own BOULE COURT and GAZEBO for alfresco dining, plus another very PRIVATE elevated garden terrace with SECLUDED SUNDECK, plus a JACUZZI hot tub for 2 and more panoramic views.
The home pool has no overlooking villas and is located at the front of our main bungalow house, and guests have own separate easy access.
PLEASE NOTE that although the pool is located in front of the main house it is NOT A SHARED POOL AT ALL, the owners are a long retired couple with a lifetime under an African sun and NEVER USE THE POOL.
INSIDE
The LOVE NEST was converted from our detached large double garage into a cosy comfortable open plan studio cottage for two.
An ample lounge area with comfortable IKEA seating, an open plan archway links the bedroom’s Emperor size double bed with memory foam topper over Posturepedic mattresses, ironed all cotton bedlinen with seasonal duvets. An ample dressing area leads to an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin, toilet, and crisp sundried cotton towels.
Another archway links the lounge to a breakfast bar and a self-catering on granite tops kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, washing sink, kettle, juicer, coffee machines, induction hob with extractor fan. All fully equipped for self-catering with usual household expendables all-inclusive at no extra cost.
The cottage is on ceramic floor tiles with scatter rugs, air conditioning, extra cooling fans and electric heaters.
Free unlimited internet / Smart TV / Netflix / Satellite Astra with multi language channels plus a Bluetooth JBL music speaker.
A free local calls Mobile phone to remain in contact with management, also handy take along phone for standby advice to make sure our guests have a carefree holiday.
OUTSIDE
The property is on 3800sq meters of elevated private rural land overlooking some scattered villas below, is securely fenced in with an automated entrance gate, driveway with very safe undercover shared carport, mature gardens, grass lawns and tall palm trees.
The property being on gentle sloping land care has been taken to avoid riser steps making it ideal for elderly or infirm to negotiate the cottage, parking, garden, main house pool and upper sundeck, all accessible by easy ramps.
The Cottage has own separate front and rear entrance plus an outdoor gazebo for alfresco dining.
An additional elevated terrace sundeck for very private suntanning, plus Jacuzzi Hot Tub for 2, hammocks, barbeque, and more stunning coastal views
The main home pool is 'L' shaped 24mts square area, ranges from 1.2 to 1.9m deep and has deep "champagne" seating steps, with sun loungers plus umbrellas, no overlooking houses.
An own floodlit court awaits you for evening games of boule.
CLEANING
A weekly combined cottage and pool cleaning service, a full change of linen, fresh cotton bath towels, plus pool/beach towels are provided.
CHANGE OVER DAY
We are flexible whenever dates fit in reasonably with other bookings.
And following latest anti-virus sanitizing protocol, we welcome a vacant 24 hour day between changeovers.
Normal check-out is 10am on the day of departure and check-in on arrival is 2pm, however whenever possible we gladly adjust for earlier or later flights times.
MANAGEMENT
The cottage is owner managed, they have over 20 years’ experience in renting out their holiday properties. Their guest´s PRIVACY, SAFETY, SECURITY, and wellbeing is most important to ensure a carefree holiday.
SAFETY
As approved and licensed holiday property the cottage conforms to the comfort and safety standards such as: Gas and Smoke detector alarms / Strategically placed 2 category Fire Extinguishers plus Fire blanket and luminous Exit signs / Power failure emergency lighting / a visible First Aid Kit cupboard with added extra anti-histamine tablets and creams to instantly reduce discomfort from stings and bites.
SECURITY
During economic austerity times some 14 years ago, we installed into all 4 our properties top of the range yet easy to use Security Direct Alarms Systems to prevent unpleasant break-in intrusions spoiling our guest’s holidays whilst out and away. Nowadays this system remains a handy direct link calling for instant emergency services
PRIVACY
Although the Love Nest cottage is detached but situated in proximity with the owners’ main house, our guest’s privacy remains paramount.

The LOVE NEST is managed as a holiday cottage by the owners, a retired couple from South Africa and having lived in the Algarve for many years.
The owners love the Algarve and, knowing holidays are precious to us all, they are keen to furnish more information so that you may make a happy choice and maybe return year after year.
The owners speak English, German and Zulu, some Portuguese and follow Flemish/Dutch.
